I so knew Robb was going to die... I expected Cat to die last book. But well. 3 down 4/5 to go? (lol counting Stark death's). I am not really all that saddened by the death's though. Robb was stupid, and Cat died better than both her husband and son... Everyone keeps saying to grab my tissues cause a lot of favorites die... So far my favorites are alive. LOL The only time I was sad was that brief second I thought Bran died, but you know. :)

Now I'm waiting for Joffery's death... I hope someone smushes that smug and creepy grin of his face. (Props to the actor on tv)

Robb had to pay for his bad judgement, just like, his Father. ( Damn I still tear up about that one) but I won't give away any thing else till everyone catches up... Hurry up people....!
I just saw some deleted scenes from season 2 which would have cleared up a few questions for the TV audience. Very creepy strangulation scene, eww.
Can't wait for Jeorrery's wedding! ( y'all know what I'm talking about) muuhahahaha ha!

The Starks make the mistake of thinking everyone else's is honourable like they are. Even when they say that someone shouldn't be trusted, they still treat them as honourable people. Like Ned warning Cersei in A Game of Thrones that he was going to tell everyone who the father of her children was. I mean, come on!!!! Why, Ned, why?

@Lanniater 'why Ned Why' agreed! And Robb is similar - its a heavy price to pay for love. As for the Lannister's role in all of that... bloody Cersei! I should have guessed.

Arya... my hero. I love her. She's my favorite. both in the books and on the show. How she just leaves the hound to die, awesome. I hope he's dead.

Sansa, is getting more and more tolerable. I still hate the way she treated Tyrion. but whatever... Maybe after Baelish's weirdness, she will come to at least respect Tyrion. I wonder if they will find each other again.

Ohhhhh, and I KNEW Shae was selfish traitor! I wonder how they will show it on the show since she's all flowers and wonderfulness there. I loved how Tyrion killed her and his father. I wonder if him and Jaime will hate each other forever...

I hate Cersei. Hate her. She's the worst. I don't think she is "crazy", Although "sociopath" is the best word for her. But since she did care for people like her children, she's not a sociopath, she's just an evil person.

not that much of Bran (or Rickon). I do like Bran's growing powers. Jon as lord commander? Awesome. He seemed to care a lot for Ygritte, but her death lacked any emotion. Oh well.

Varys is becoming one of my favorite characters, too. LOL don't know why, cause he's all kinds of mischiefy. But his character entertains me.

Dany... I am glad she's getting a lot of strength. Sorry she lost Jorah, but... I think it's fitting for her. Guys just end up betraying her or dying on her. (hide spoiler)]

Interesting foreshadowing and drawing parallel's. That's why these books take me so long to read, because I try to analyze every detail. LOL! But those are my thoughts. Oh, and my favorite quote:

LOL Zeeant, now you know why I didn't want to say too much about anything earlier, in case I accidentally slipped up and revealed something I shouldn't! Storm is the best book of the series, in my opinion. It goes downhill a bit from here (though it perks up again at the end of Dance with Dragons).

(view spoiler)[That whole thing with Tywin/Shae/Tyrion was jaw-dropping! I was raging at holier-than-thou Tywin for lecturing Tyrion about his fondness for whores, then he's found in bed with one. And the one his son was sleeping with!! The Lannisters definitely have some weird family shit going down LOL! I ached for Tyrion and Jaime at the very end though, with that discussion about Tysha. Poor Tyrion. He never catches a break.

And the Red Wedding!! How frigging awesome was that? I got goosebumps when I first read it. You knew something was going to happen, but I didn't think there would be such mass slaughter. Apparently it's loosely based on an event in Scottish history, so there ya go, don't mess with the Scots!! :D

I love Arya too. She along with Jaime and Tyrion are my favs. But I worry about her, cos she's becoming cold. Arya and Gendry have a ton of fan shippers! Even the TV show actors have great chemistry. Must admit, I didn't quite look at Gendry in the same way, after seeing the actor that played him LOL!

Sansa gets better all through Feast too and I find myself starting to like her more and more. The 'wedding' with Tyrion was quite tragic for both of them. I dislike Littlefinger around Sansa, but that might be more into Feast, so I won't say any more. (hide spoiler)]

I have so many thoughts but I haven't time to type them all!

Poor Tyrion. I think him and Sansa are eventually gonna reunite and consummate their marriage. She'll be older and wiser, and He'll be... well the same. It's kind of stupid why I think that... but I'll share anyways. Their wedding was the only one we saw of. And the septon or whatever recited this for their wedding “I do solemnly proclaim Tyrion of House Lannister and Sansa of House Stark to be man and wife, one flesh, one heart, one soul, now and forever, and cursed be the one who comes between them.” Both Tyrion and Sansa keep mentioning the vow... I think they will consummate, fall in love... and anyone who comes in between them, will have bad luck. That has already happened with Joff, his dad, Lysa who wanted to marry her off. Eventually Baelish, but he's got a whole host of reasons to die LOL! I actually think they might even die together... Or rule winterfell. I don't know if anything significant happens in the next two books... lol

You know, I expected it once they got there. I was thinking there was NO way Frey was going to forgive and forget. I expected it to be a poisoning like Joff's though. The brutalness of it did surprise me. LOL, it actually seemed very shakespearean to me, and since a lot of Shakespeare's stuff is based on Scottish history... ;)

I think Arya is becoming cold, but I think she needs to, in order to be the one to take "revenge". I think she is going to be the one to kill a bunch of people at the end of the big war... probably die herself.

I like Arya and Gendry too. I don't know if it's going to happen, because I don't know if Arya will be old enough by the time book 7 comes out. If the books dont' move fast enough timewise, she may still be young. But if she's 13/14, They may get together ;) I know GRRM said he wanted to have a "fast forward" of 4 years that he cancelled, and I wonder how much that will affect things like Gendry/Arya. I definitely think he set them up that way though. (hide spoiler)]

Hmmm, I dunno. I think my money's on Varys. He's got an endgame in mind that he's working towards (though I'm not entirely certain what it is - I don't believe what he says). Littlefinger has something of a chip on his shoulder because he was always the poor cousin and not from a particularly noble family. I think this'll trip him up in the end.

I like Varys more than Littlefinger.(view spoiler)[ I can't decide whether Littlefinger will destroy Sansa's humanity or just make her stronger and make sure she grows up. The way he is grooming her as a Cat substitute makes me feel uncomfortable, though I suppose she is no longer seen as a child. In a way his obsession with Cat is a bit like Jaimee's feelings for Cersei but a little more controlled. On the other hand it does take her out of Kings Landing and gives her a chance to mature.

Cat is still alive but I can't help feeling it's no longer cat just her shadow full of revenge but not justice.

I can't imagine that Tyrion's search for Tysha will end well. His love life is so screwed up. As for Arya, I'm scared what GRR Martin will do to her if she becomes an assassin. I fear it will become all consuming. (hide spoiler)]

I really hope Arya will have some version of a happy ending for her. To me, she's the most central character, out of the politics yet still the one driving the story. Maybe I just want to be her when I grow up... or grow little... or.... errr...

I have a love hate relationship with this book. it was really boring in the beginning... but it has gotten interesting in the last few chapters.

I find it fascinating that Arya is struggling being no one when Sands ha become Alayne...

So who's watching the show this season?? I was feeling a little jaded with it early on and I didn't feel as engaged as previous years, but I must admit last night's episode was really, really good. I loves Jaime!! His scene with Brienne was really well done. I hope the show is only going to get better from now on.
