well I didn't join to show off!
actually, we for sure didn't have talent to begin with...but now we do!
YES WE DID!!! YOU JUST DON'T WHAT TO ADMIT IS BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE IF SOUND LIKE YOUR SHOWING OFF!!
Seriously, i was sooo bad at the beginning of band, but now i have been first shair, like three, or four times (something like that) in a row! well, i have had 2nd chair twice, though.
thank you for stating the truth, Devin.
DON'T LIE TO A GIRL, DEVIN!!!!!!!!

EL PERRO! don't you remember being a trumpet player? and, can you remember how even I wasn't very good to begin with? well, same as danielle, i have been 1st chair all the time exept: (1) the very first test, i was 11th chair (2) now, only because someone used their "free test pass" I am second chair, other than that!
my class doesn't have these "free test pass" and it seems like that is a good thing because then i wouldn't be first chair!
and, i don't really like the idea of a free test pass, because then it makes someone like me (who worked for 1st chair) to get something like 8th chair (not that that's bad, or anything!), when other people practically cheat to get there. i just feel like if you want something bad enough (like first chair), you need to work for it, like i did. it's not that hard! just practice every night! just like everyone else keeps telling you! it's not that hard to understand!!!!
here's my tip if you want to success:
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND PRACTICE SOME MORE!!!
believe me, i can tell who goes home and practices, their the one's that are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chair!!!!

i say that "practice makes pretty-much perfect"
how did you get the crosses on that message??
Um....idk.....I don't think I should be here though.......but anyways, our band is NOTHING like your band.......I wish we had stuff like first chair and stuff....at the beggining of the year I was stuck on the easiest song for 2 weeks! But now I've improved....alot.(could've made it into the 100 club but we just had to run out of time T_T)
The Lowest chair i have been is 3rd chair
T_T We have books with short music pieces and if we play it perfectly (or good enough) we get a sticker on that song and eventually move on to the next book....we use the Essential Elements book......and it comes with SmartMusic program so it tells you if you play the notes correctly....
Yeah ya just pop it into a computer and then start playin the music from your book.....its optional though...you dont HAVE to use it....
Danielle wrote: "how did you get the crosses on that message??"you press alt (option) and then press the letter 't'.
I feel that us as band joiners, we a alow to be proud of us because we never give up!!!!!!:)
