Finished my anthology, Sexy Beast II. I only bought this series because I wanted to read the Chanku stories that bridge each of the Wolf Tales books. I enjoy the Chanku stories but some of the one's by other authors have been pretty mediocre. I'm having a really hard time deciding what to read next. I keep procrastinating on picking up Cordelia's Honor because I'm just not sure about it. A friend raves about the series though so I HAVE to read it or he'll never forgive me.1. Here's my..."You're doing better than I am. I haven't finished anything for this challenge since the last update. I've been reading (far too slowly considering I've been off work for the past week), it just hasn't been for this challenge. I'm in a book club with a moms' group and just couldn't get through one of our picks this month. It's taken almost the whole month to finish it!
I'm farther behind than both of you. lol I havn't finished anything off this Challenge list. I'm only half done with one of them. I've finished 2 books off Read the Month for March and within 20 pages of finishing a third off that list. My big problem with this list is that I've got 6 books in one series on it, which should have worked out great, if I hadn't gotten bogged down in the middle of book 2 and am not motivated too well to finish it. I'll work my way through it so I can get to the others and hope they're better. But the month's 2/3rds over and I've not finished any book of this list yet.

I finished the cat who ate Danish Modern yesterday so that completes catagory No.2 - a book with a predominantly green cover. Now onto No 3. An anthology which in my case is a book containing two books by the same author as that is all I could find ! (Hope this is acceptable for this catagory?) Irish Dreams - Nora Roberts

Welcome, Shyloh. No worries.
You can post titles you've completed so they can be counted during every update, or like what most people do, they plan ahead and put their tentative titles, then strike them out or put a finished date after the title.
Have fun reading!

Thanks Jane. If it wasn't so predictable, it would be more enjoyable.
Thank you Yz! I'm having fun with this challenge, & it is giving me an excuse to read more....as if I need one. :)
So Yz...I've picked my books for April's PNR challenge...when ya gonna reveal this groups April challenge? I'm on pins and needles!
I would like to take a moment to blame Sarah (my pick it for me person) for my lack of reading on my March challenge. I was so excited when I picked my list and just new that I could complete it. But then I read what Sarah picked for me and I just fell in love. That's when (to my extreme excitement and udder distress) I discovered it was a series. Therefore, due to it's addictiveness, I have totally pushed my challenge to the back burner. I must say... I'm slightly concerned with this internal battle between my inability to begin it again and finish the series and my stubbornness to complete the challenge. The war rages on...
No worries, Jes. Although you got me curious what book Sarah chose for you...As my mantra for these challenges: The challenges are meant to be fun.fun..fun. If it becomes a burden, or if you feel you "have to" instead of you "want to"...then pick a different challenge, a different book..or just hang out a bit...LOL..
Good luck in that internal war..LOL
Jes wrote: "I would like to take a moment to blame Sarah (my pick it for me person) for my lack of reading on my March challenge. I was so excited when I picked my list and just new that I could complete it. B..."You crack me up!!! I have complete faith in you! LOL!!! We can do it!
I'm also finding myself getting too involved in other books. I see one at the store, the library, bookmooch, etc... I just have to pick it up and then, of course, want to read it immediately. This leaves the same books on my shelves for months (or years for some). They're all books that I really want to read! I just can't seem to prioritize or something.
As of March 23rd, I've read 8 books from my list.1)
2)
3)
4) Animal Instincts (Gena Showalter)
5)
6) Head Over Heels (Susan Andersen)

Nichole, five is more than fine...LOL..You can actually just pick which categories you want to play with.
I was actually surprised I came up with five. I've read plenty of books this month, but it didn't seem like any of them really fit any categories, so I kind of gave up. I was pretty pleased to see there was some kind of organization to my madness and I could actually claim to have finished the challenge! (Well, I guess I haven't finished yet... Better not count my chicks til they're hatched.)
