What are the best and worst books that you have read this year? I think this question is harder than who to vote for on election day.

The books books that I finished that I disliked the most this year are: Alpha Instinct (Moon Shifter, #1) by Katie Reus and On the Prowl (The Others, #6) by Christine Warren

The ones that I loved were much harder to decide from..so I didn't :)
Gunmetal Magic (Kate Daniels World, #1) by Ilona Andrews Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas Bitterblue (Graceling Realm, #3) by Kristin Cashore Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling, #11) by Nalini Singh Bear Meets Girl (Pride, #7) by Shelly Laurenston Third Grave Dead Ahead (Charley Davidson #3) by Darynda Jones Drink Deep (Chicagoland Vampires, #5) by Chloe Neill

Erik | 97 comments Hope you don't mean books that came out in 2012 :)

Worst was Glass Houses bad, bad, bad. And The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, which I knew would be terrible. Most disappointing was Thirteen which ended a pretty good series on a dull and flat note.

With you Jessica on picking a best, but I'd say the Magic (fill in the verb) books by Ilona Andrews were the ones I got most excited about reading.

The Rachel Caine series gets more interesting, I swear!
I love anything by Ilona Andrews-they can do no wrong

E.B. Hood (melabeth) | 12 comments I have been so busy writeing this year, I haven't read much, but I will comment on the two books I have read. Preety When She Kills 2 by Rhiannon Frater. I liked the first one a lot. This book is way to straight forward you always know whats next. I also read the zero sum seires by Justin Shier and really enjoyed them.
