Is it just me or does anybody else agree that Eva is nothing but a pushover?? She puts up with an awful lot without explanation, am I missing something or is she just a 'sap'??

i actually DON'T agree. she doesn't let him get away with everything. think about it - she runs, she gives herself space a lot - but then she finds that she's still drawn to him. they are both compromising a lot - she makes him go to therapy, she makes him realize that she's keeping her job and some of her independence.
I agree that she accepts a lot without explanation. She also seems to change 180 degrees every 5 minutes. But, I like that she confronted Corinne. Maybe they'll get in a cat fight in book 3
I don't think she is a sap at all. She is in love with him and also can relate to how people deal when they have been abused in the past. She knows that at some point she may have to pull the plug on the relationship to save herself but until she reaches that point she does what she needs to do to figure out what is going on with Gideon. In the end. . . it all makes sense!
