The Last Olympian
question
What's your fave part in this whole book series?

My favorite part of this book series.....hmmm....THERE'S SOO MANY!! Haha, but mine would be the underwater kiss of Percabeth!!<3
This quote:“Let us find the dam snack bar," Zoe said. "We should eat while we can."
Grover cracked a smile. "The dam snack bar?"
Zoe blinked. "Yes. What is funny?"
"Nothing," Grover said, trying to keep a straight face. "I could use some dam french fries."
Even Thalia smiled at that. "And I need to use the dam restroom."
...
I started cracking up, and Thalia and Grover joined in, while Zoe just looked at me. "I do not understand."
"I want to use the dam water fountain," Grover said.
"And..." Thalia tried to catch her breath. "I want to buy a dam t-shirt.”
*Note* You could say things from HoO too!!
So from The Mark of Athena....
Percabeth Reunion!!!!!!
So what's your fave moment?????

“Wow," Thalia muttered. "Apollo is hot."
"He's the sun god," I said.
"That's not what I meant.”
I love all of the cute Perabeth moments. <3
But not the fall into Tartarus. That one sucks. Curse you Riordan and the year-long wait.

Haha, sorry - too many! I love all the ones on my profile ;). Especially the ones that make me laugh out loud!
I love these ones...
“Love conquers all," Aphrodite promised. "Look at Helen and Paris. Did they let anything come between them?"
"Didn't they start the Trojan War and get thousands of people killed?"
"Pfft. That's not the point. Follow your heart.”
“Grover was sniffing the wind, looking nervous. He fished out his acorns and threw them into the sand, then played his pipes. They rearranged themselves in a pattern that made no sense to me, but Grover looked concerned.
"That's us," he said. "Those five nuts right there."
"Which one is me?" I asked.
"The little deformed one," Zoe suggested.
"Oh, shut up.”
“He cleared his throat and held up one hand dramatically.
“Green grass breaks through snow.
Artemis pleads for my help.
I am so cool.”
He grinned at us, waiting for applause.
"That last line was four syllables.” Artemis said.
Apollo frowned. “Was it?”
“Yes. What about I am so bigheaded?”
“No, no, that’s six syllable, hhhm.” He started muttering to himself.
Zoe Nightshade turned to us. “Lord Apollo has been going through this haiku phase ever since he visited Japan. Tis not as bad as the time he visited Limerick. If I’d had to hear one more poem that started with, There once was a godess from Sparta-"
“I’ve got it!” Apollo announced. “I am so awesome. That’s five syllables!” He bowed, looking very pleased with himself.”

There are millions of them, the whole series practically ... but here are the ones that came to mind:
“I nodded, looking at Rachel with respect. "You hit the Lord of the Titans in the eye with a blue plastic hairbrush.”
“Wow," Thalia muttered. "Apollo is hot."
"He's the sun god," I said.
"That's not what I meant.”
“My mother made a squeaking sound that might of been either "yes" or "help".
Poseidon took it as a yes and came in.
Paul was looking back and forth between us, trying to read our expressions.
Finally he stepped forward.
"Hi, I'm Paul Blofis."
Poseidon raised an eyebrow and then shook his hand.
"Blowfish, did you say?"
"Ah, no. Blofis, actually."
"Oh, I see," Poseidon said. "A shame. I quite like blowfish. I am Poseidon."
"Poseidon? That's an interesting name."
"Yes, I like it. I've gone by other names, but I do prefer Poseidon."
"Like the god of the sea."
"Very much like that, yes"
"Well!" My mother interrupted. "Um, were so glad you could drop by. Paul, this is Percy's father."
"Ah." Paul nodded, though he didn't look real pleased. "I see."
Poseidon smiled at me. "There you are, my boy. And Tyson, hello, son!"
"Daddy!" Tyson [shouted]...
Paul's jaw dropped. He stared at my mother. "Tyson is..."
"Not mine," she promised. "It's a long story.”

"My favorite part was in the first book. When he was in the Mississippi River:The truth? My only thought was:
Aaaaggghhhhh!
Aaaaggghhhhh!
There are two parts that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! Both are in the last Olympian. I like other parts in the series, but these two are my favorites:
1) When Nico sees the flashback about what happened to his mom, and when Maria told Hades that he was kind and good. It made me so darn sad, thinking of Hades, who has been exiled by his family, being loved by someone. And then, when Maria died, and he wanted to bring her back, but he couldn't, because, since he was the god of the dead, he, above all others, had to respect the laws of death. '"Take them," Hades said, choking back a sob.' When a guy chokes back a sob, I cry, because it is JUST SO HEARTBREAKING! I think that Hades truly loved Maria, because he stayed with her even after she had his two children, which is incredibly rare.
2) LUKE'S DEATH!! I had a crush on Luke the entire series, and even though I could see it coming, I didn't prepare myself at all, and I cried. I cried sad, bitter tears. Luke's death was tragic and heroic. I thought that Percy would manage to find Kronos's weak spot, and vanquish him. I did not expect Luke to be the hero of the prophecy at all. But he was, and it was very sad. And when he told Percy "Ethan. Me. All the unclaimed. Don't... Don't let it happen again." I just felt that Luke realized his flaws, and he wanted to make sure nobody took advantage of another demigod the way Kronos took advantage of him ever again.
And the funniest quote of all time is actually a Percabeth thing, in a way. The first words Annabeth ever says to Percy:
Annabeth: You drool when you sleep.
How romantic Annabeth.

My absolute favorite Percy and Annabeth is in the beginning of The Titan's Curse
"Dance you guys!" Thalia ordered "You look stupid just standing there."
I look nervously at Annabeth, then at the groups of girls who were roaming the gym.
"Well?" Annabeth asked.
"Um, who should I ask?"
She punched me in the gut. "Me, Seaweed Brain."
"Oh. Oh, right"
