Is there anything to read after The Sea of Tranquility?

This book has seriously rocked my world. Any suggestions of similar reads? Not the story itself exactly but the writing style and angst?

The Ten Tiny Breathes series by KA Tucker!

I loved the Breathing series and Callie & Kayden series, If You Find Me, and Easy.

The Edge of Never was problematic. It started with a slow burn romance that turned into porno towards the 3/4 mark and then schmaltzy tragedy towards the end. There is an endless supply of money despite the couple barely working on their road trip, and there is disdain for conventional lifestyle (college, jobs, then family) but not for the inherited money that made their unconventional lifestyle possible. The couple developed a musical act without a lot of hard work, practice, or business development. I hated how the author name dropped The Civil Wars often through this book.

The book's biggest issue is tone....Andrew starts off as a really nice guy with some issues and ends with wanting to own her sexually. It was pretty offensive. He calls her Babe all the time, beats up anyone who looks her way, and dominates her sexually. As a woman, I guess the author expects this will thrill me, but I am just grossed out.

Slammed and Point of Retreat are awesome! I read those before reading The Sea of Tranquility.
Also try the Breathing Series by Rebecca Donovan, amazing books.
Butterfly Weeds was another surprisingly good YA Book and I believe its .99 cents right now on amazon for your kindle.

I loved TSOT. Many of the books suggested above are great. I reco The Fault In Our Stars, If I Stay/Where She Went, Beautiful Disaster, Easy, Thoughtless/Effortless, Hopeless.

Definitely the Edge of Never!!!!!!!!!

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover seriously just rocked my world. Highly recommend. It is up there with TSOT and EON for me!!

I found Hopeless by Colleen Hoover similar to The Sea of Tranquility. I love the latter better though...

I absolutely loved "The Sea of Tranquility." I just finished Amy Harmon's books "A Different Blue" and "Running Barefoot." I got the same feeling I had reading those as TSOT, especially "Blue."

And, I agree with others that "The Edge of Never" is probably the best book ever. I have preordered "The Edge of Always" and everytime I see that cover on my preorder list I just hope and pray that the book is just as good as its predecessor (and I hope Cam's sadness doesn't have anything to do with the baby).

I found The Language of Flowers to be of a somewhat similar feeling...

You need to try Real this is by far the best book iv read this year, remmy is just so hot and the story is fantastic. Iv told about 20 people about this book and everyone of them have come back to me gushing about how good it is not one person I know didn't like it :) it really is that good. Hope you read it you won't regret it

I recently read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes and loved it just as much as TSoT, though in a very different way. It's nothing like TSoT but is so emotional and wonderful! Check it out!

Try Drowning Instinct, there are angst, psychological issues and forbidden love interest :)
Drowning Instinct by Ilsa J. Bick I think you'd like it

collision course by sc stephens reminds me alot of this. also Bully and Losing Hope. enjoy!

I definitely agree with the above poster. The Edge of Never is an AMAZING book to read post TSOT.

I loved this one too and have been having a tough time moving on. Not sure what would be comparable....Have you read Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1) by Katie McGarry or The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred ? If you find something fantastic....let me know

You might also want to try Collision Course by S.C. Stephens , great book!!

I really liked this one, and it is angster-ific, but resolves in a satisfying way! Grounding Quinn by Steph Campbell

Read Shattered by Elizabeth Lee! 5 star YA all the way!!! Shattered by Elizabeth Lee

Try Ruining Me by Nicole Reed. Just finished that one. She is writing a Book 2 and it will be out in January.

I was just thinking the same, I've picked up a book, but I cant get through the first page.... I'm still too busy thinking about tsot!

Not much compares to this book. It was excellent!! I did love Easy by Tammara Webber, if you haven't read that one. Also check out Rebecca Donavon's Reason to Breathe series.

I just read The Edge of Never and it was amazing.

I've read The Edge of Never and thought it was okay. I agree with everyone saying you need to read Colleen Hoover's books! Rebeca Donovan's Breathing series and Sweet Gum Tree are another favorites of mine.

Ohhh I love angsty books!

The Wreck by Marie Force The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred The Fault in Our Stars by John Green The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski Just Remember to Breathe by Charles Sheehan-Miles Back To You by Priscilla Glenn Charade (The Games Series, #1) by Nyrae Dawn Undeniable (Undeniable, #1) by Madeline Sheehan Boy Toy by Barry Lyga Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

Barely breathing series as well...

Lots of angst there!

I felt that way, too, after reading Sea of Tranquility! I second the recommendations for The Edge of Never and Just Remember to Breathe. I also liked Charade.

I actually didn't like this book until I thought about it for a little while once I was done.

I read Easy, Between the Lines, Where You Are, The Edge of Never, and Beautiful Disaster after this book.

I recommend the Slammed books by Colleen Hoover...if you haven't read them, you are missing out!

The Edge of Never! OMG....it's amazing

I read just about all of the books listed above and loved most of them! I just found a new book very similar to Sea of Tranquility that I started last night and is very good so far....
A Song for Julia by Charles Sheehan-Miles
