JazzyCat (dayandnightgirl) I've started a ton of them, but have only finished one, called Dead Inside. :) Working on a couple more! Had a writer's block all summer now I have 4 in the making!

JazzyCat (dayandnightgirl) sweet thanks!

Giulia Well I have about 6? Could be more but only one is really finished. It's called City Lights and it's about 1900s Paris. It's not some epic, sweeping novel mind you. It's more of a kinda chick-lit sort of thing. I don't read that genre but it was fun to write. Consider it more of my ode to Paris (I love love love Paris). I'm quite sure they're all over 10,000 words and I'm pretty much on a block for most of them, save 2. Finding time for writing is hard but necessary!
Two are completely high fantasy, one is dystopian and one is set in 1660s London.
I'm mostly writing them for me but doesn't everyone have that underlying thought that maybe one day they'd be published? Dunno. Just a thought *shrugs*
That's about it! Not to bore you guys. :)

Giulia Yes, I've been a few times. I love to travel and have been to some pretty cool places, not to toot my own horn.
I love Paris because you know, from all the stories and books and whatnot, that Paris was the hub for all the greatest writers, poets and practically every important historical figure. The streets are literally paved with culture and I love it there because you get a feeling of infinity there. It's a bit hard to explain but you can imagine people from hundreds of years ago, walking down the lanes in their clothing, discussing the French Revolution or something like that. It truly is magical and amazing!
Convinced to go yet?

Giulia Oh my goodness YES YES YES! I've seen it and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it! (Excuse my repetition) Woody Allen is a great director and writer and I think he embodies the entire Parisian feel very well into that movie! I personally suffer from the same illness as Bill; I adore other eras and don't show love for my own but that movie provided closure for me so that was great!

Giulia The King's Speech is also really really good!
Yeah, I'm a bit of a movie fanatic. Woody Allen had just released another film; To Rome With Love. It was good too and since I have a special connection with Italy, it was fun seeing it through his eyes!

These Violent Delights (Robin) I probably have started about 20 to 30 stories, some of which are here on goodreads.

Sarah (Oceanwhisper) | 101 comments Too many I've written xD

But I'd guess around about 50? That includes stories we have to do at school, and I've probably done about half of that at home in my free time... The only thing is that atleast 3/4 of them aren't finished xD I might start one of them up again some day... :D

message 10: by Hayleebee (new)

Hayleebee I haven't written a lot, a few poems and short stories. Now I'm working on a novel, Trapped, it's about the supernatural.

message 11: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (booksteainsanity) I wrote a short story series (<--that sounds really awkward) that had four parts to it (each a separate document). Then I wrote a trilogy.

As of now, I've written eight stories, if you count the prequel of the former. But I have numerous unfinished/abandoned works.

Not very far, I don't get a lot of time to work on it. School.

Sarah (Oceanwhisper) | 101 comments That. Is. A. Lot. :)

I guess in school we do a lot, plus when I get to high school I'll be taking a writing class so that will bump up my stories by... maybe 30? (My aunt was in a writing class in high school and she wrote around that much) -- Becks (Sorry, can't figure out how to quote xD )

Lol, I know! I'm actually really impressed by that, as I'm only eleven, and have sort of slacked a bit on my writing!

Thanks Becks :)

Sawyer (sawelter) I've written maybe 10+ stories ever since I got interested in writing again, ranging from 800-65,000 words, on average about 10,000. I like writing fantasy, mostly just for the reason that I don't really like researching for actual-world things. I also wrote a couple of realistic fiction, though.

Adriana | 7 comments Ok so is it weird that I think the no photo gal kind-of actually looks like me...long, dark hair...nose in a book...Anyway on to the topic at hand. I've written probably 5 or 6 that I've actually finished and would be the first to tell you that most of my Kindergarten students could have done a better job. I'm on chapter eight of my latest, exciting (at least for me anyway) story, Faded. Hoping to finish by mid April and self-pub the thing on Kindle. Fingers crossed and a lot of prayers going up!

Thanks so much Becks!

Sierra Bookworm☺️♪ I've written like 10+, but they never get very long because I always get distracted before I finish =(.
