I am going to read more soon. I started and read the first few chapters. So far, it's hard to say if it is better than Slammed. I like Slammed so much that I hope this one won't let me down :)
Kelly wrote: "Would you say it is better than Slammed? I am going to read it after I finish my current read. :)"Both are equal! My opinion is that, it gets better. Point of retreat mainly focused about them and it is WOW!

Just finished. Compared to book 1, I didn't like this book much. It was a good book, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed reading it. But Lake behaved like a child and it was so annoying.
I am almost finished with this book - Gisbelle I may have to agree with you. I really enjoy things from Will's perspective, though. His slam to Lake "because of you" was a little adorable. Her reaction to him and Vaughn was a little immature. I have to keep reminding myself she's so young. :) I hope to finish by tonight!
I guess 19 isn't so young... I am just a little shocked that I do not love it as much as I loved Slammed. :\

You guys have such good taste in books :) I read this one a few weeks ago right after slammed. Not sure if I like it as much as I did slammed but I still thought it was a really nice book and I'd re-read them again xxxx
I loved both books. I cried a lot like a lot a lot :) My opinion about Lake is that i think she was just heartbroken which explained her childish behavior. I loved Lake. And as for Will, he is my another Lucas :P
Great that you liked the book, Nadd :) I was so not into this one, especially after the accident and Lake cried/screamed when her hair was cut. So immature!
But Will was ok in this one. I liked him better in book 1, though.
Gisbelle wrote: "Love book 1, hate book 2 :D"Book 2 is good. I'm still not sure about the ending, though. Some days I like it. Other times I don't. Lol
I didn't like Lake in book 2. She was so immature. I wanted to strangle her so bad after that accident and she screamed and cried when her hair was cut. It was to save her life, for goodness sake! hehe... I am b*tching about it again :P But I know lots of people love it :)
I don't like the second book as well as the first because I don't like extra drama. Raising the kids at their ago is hard enough. Don't need the car accident on top of it IMO. Not a bad book just didn't like the drama that always seems to pop up in sequels...

I love slammed so much, i'm waiting to read point of retreat but its gotten a few negative reviews ): I hope i like it though, or else it would ruin slammed for me.
Ami wrote: "Definitely not a favorite, but some parts were just butterflying cute."Agreed! It was cute (sometimes too cute), but definitely not my favorite :)

Tina wrote: "not as good as the first one but still enjoyed:)"Totally agree :) Book 1 was way, way, way better.
I read this book way back before I joined the group. This is a book I would totally read again when I have nothing else to read. It was fantastic!!! I laughed and cried. It was an awesome read. My favorite quote and I still remember it, " never take a sleeping pill on the same night you take a laxative " it goes something like that, like I said, I read it long time ago. There was so much heartache in this book but also so much positive. I butterflying love it!! The new characters that are introduced in this book only add to the story and make it more interesting. Did I like it better than slammed??? Dunno, they were both good but point of retreat just expands more on the life and struggles of the couple. I say couple because I've read so many books since then, that I don't remember their names. Definitely could not put the book down. Btw, check out hopeless also by Colleen Hoover. Awesome book. Just finished it.
I loved how the characters developed and how intense the relationship got in the second book. I really enjoyed the first book but i loved the second book.
these were really good. I felt like I went through a lot of emotions while reading it though. but it was good :)
