Luca smiled, wrapping an arm around her, so it would be more comfortable for her.
Sapphire smiled. She liked him a lot. To bad her parents wouldn't approve. She realized he knew very little about her family.
(( Sorry! I'm busy... ))Luca reached for some more popcorn.
Well, Luca was alone, with his brother, who was in college. he had no family to approve.
Sapphire stares at him staring at the screen. She flinches. She hoped he didn't notice and stares back at the screen
Luca turned back to her, eyebrow raised."Are you okay?" he asked her softly.
Sapphire looked at him. she nodded. but it was clear on her face she was lying
"Go on, tell me" Luca kissed her cheek softly."It's okay."
Sapphire blushed and said " im trying to figure out how to introduce you to my family if this ever gets serious. " she looked down "it doesnt go well."
(( Sorry! I didn't see! ))"What doesn't go well?" Luca inquired, confused.
Sapphire sighed " you meeting my parents." she whispered. " it would go horrible. i just know it."
"Why? They don't like the Irish?" Luca said, trying to lighten the mood, because he didn't want her to seem so... worried. It worried him.
Sapphire laughed. " no its not that. They just..... Don't approve of anyone. And I do mean everyone. My friends, my boyfriends, heck half the time they don't approve of me." she said
"Oh... But who wouldn't approve of you? I mean, what's not to approve?" Luca sounded appalled.
Sapphire smiled " well they don't approve because I'm not ms perfect. I talk back, am late for everything, don't get straight A's, and well cause I'm not what they expected or wanted for a daughter." she said the last part sorta sadly
(( Sorry! I never saw this thing... *curses* ))Luca was frowning.
"But... you're truly lovely. It's as if... as if your parents are only looking at your flaws. Which, in my point of view, you have none."
Sapphire blushed. She looked down at her hand " no guys has really ever told me that." she whispered
(( I didn't see! This thing, when I came back to check if you had posted, showed me nothing..... ))"It's because they were all blind" Luca reasoned, looking back at the TV.
(( ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh))Sapphire looked back and it to. She still leaned on him. Half way through the movie she fell into a quiet sleep
(( ^-^' ))When Luca heard her quiet, heavy breathing, he smiled.
He gently wrapped a blanket around her, positioning her head so that it rested on his shoulder, and she wouldn't be so uncomfortable.
Sapphire was sleeping quietly and soundly
Luca ate the last bit of popcorn.By and by, he fell asleep too.
Sapphire woke up to her phone buzzing. She picked it up.
Luca woke with a start when he heard the phone. His sensitive hearing picked up the buzz easily.
He blinked the sleep out of his eyes.
Sapphire was growling into her phone. She was saying things like " stop calling ass." and " its never going to happen so stop asking."
Luca sat up straight, frowning. He ran hand through his messy hair, yawning slightly again.
Sapphire hung up. " sorry. Did I wake you up?" she asked
"No... Just the phone" Luca smiled sleepily."What was that about, if you don't mind my asking?"
"Then why were you cursing?" Luca inquired shyly.
Sapphire sighed " just a clingy ex. Nothing to worry about....." she was sorta lying. This guy was litterally stalking her
"Are you sure?" Luca said.She could trust him with anything, really.
"Well?" Luca took her hand in his and squeezed it gently."Come on... tell me. Please?"
Sapphire looked down " he's stalking me." she whispered
" my ex."she whispered staring at the spiral pattern in her couch
"How long has he been at this" Luca asked her.
Sapphire shrugged "a month." she said quietly
"What is wrong with the lad?" Luca blinked."A month, you say? Something is terribly wrong with that boy..."
Sapphire shrugged again " I guess." she looked up at him. " you can't tell anyone about this." she said
"Don't worry. I can keep your secret... Though I want to do something about this stalker of yours..." Luca said, nodding.
Sapphire bit her lip. " you don't have to. I'm fine." she whispered
"Stalkers are dangerous" Luca said."So, I am going to grab onto this bloody idiot, and I'm going to get him to stop it, the hard way if needed."
Sapphire looked at him a bit worried " No, really I'm fine. You don't have to......." she trailed off
"But I want to" Luca said, looking out the window.
Sapphire blushed. This was unsal to her.
Luca sighed, looking down at his hands.He didn't want no weird guys stalking Sapphire.
That was his job now, but in the sweet, boyfriend way, not the creepy way.
He leaned back against the couch, reaching for some popcorn and the movie started.
