Luca finished, having a big appetite.He sighed, finishing his drink and leaning back on the booth.
He waited for the waitress to come back to order another drink.
She must have been watching him, because she came as soon as he finished with another drink.
He smiled, surprised, and thanked her kindly.
Sapphire ate her food slowly and restrained herself from glaring at the waitress
Luca waited patiently for Sapphire to finish, so they could order a dessert.Out of the corner of his eye, Luca caught the waitress looking ta him curiously, but quickly turn back to the other customers.
"What would you like to have?" Luca smiled at Sapphire, holding up the desserts menu.
Sapphire smiled " doesnt matter." she said
(( Sorreh! ))Luca narrowed his eyes at her playfully, but sighed.
"Alright... we'll pick at random" he nodded.
He closed his eyes. He spun around the menu and let it drop on the table. He put his finger on a random picture, his eyes closed.
"What is it?" he asked, not opening his eyes.
Sapphire smiled " that is the word dessert." she laughed
Luca opened his eyes and looked down at it."Well then... we'll order that" he smiled bashfully.
The waitress was there quickly.
She took the order and dashed off, blushing.
Sapphire was still jealous. she looked down at her hands. that waitress obviously was gonna hit on him. maybe
Luca looked out the window.To him, this was the pleasant kind of silence. Not the awkward kind.
His heart was content, calm.
Sapphire was just staring at her hands with her sad blue eyes.
(( *gasp* Sorry! This notifications thing is going crazy: not telling me a thing! ))Luca turned to face her again.
He frowned.
"Are you alright?" he asked her, confused.
(( S'okay. ))Sapphire smiled at him " yeah. im fine." she said
"Good" Luca nodded, smiling again.The waitress set down the dessert in front of them.
She gave them each a shy smile, though her eyes lingered on Luca.
She darted away.
Sapphire subtly rolled her eyes. This shouldnt bother but it did. She put her fork in her dessert. she put a piece in her mouth and chewed slowly
Luca scooped up a bit of the dessert.He took a bite. It was great. He continued to eat, making sure he left enough for Sapphire.
"How are you liking it?" Luca asked her, looking out the window as he ate.
Luca nodded, continuing.He glanced up. The waitress was talking to her boss.
Sapphire stood. " ill be right back." she said and went towards the ladies room. she bumped shoulder with the waitress

(( Eh! I checked back here not long ago and it said nothing! Gosh! ))"Sorry!" the waitress blushed, and ducked out of the way.
She headed over to a different table, placing the food down for the costumers.
Sapphire pretended she hadnt meant to do that. she continued to the rest room. she looked at herself. she fixed her self. she looked like a wreak.
"Excuse me" Luca called to the waitress.She blinked, but walked over.
"Yes?" she said bashfully.
"May I ask, what your name is?" Luca was curious, since there was no name tag and he wanted to thank her using her name.
Sapphire finished fixing herself. she smiled and came back out.
"Lily" the waitress smiled.Luca held out his hand to shake.
"Well, thank you, Lily. Lovely name..." he smiled.
She blushed, taking his hand and shaking it.
Sapphire came back over and slipped into her seat trying to pretend she had taken a call.
"I'll bring the check..." lily muttered, turning around and heading off.Luca turned to smile at Sapphire.
"Hello" he said sweetly.
He was so clueless it was amusing.
Sapphire stared after the waitress glaringly then she turned back to her phone " hi." she said to him pretending she had taken a call.
Luca had caught that look.He raised an eyebrow.
"Are you alright?" he asked her.
Sapphire smiled like she was. " yeah." she said
"Okay, good" Luca smiled.Lily came back with the check.
She waited until Luca was done.
He caught sight of a different loose paper in the little book.
He slipped it off. He blinked, but he slipped it into his pocket, not wanting to be rude.
She took the book back, nodded with a smile, and went back to the counter.
Sapphire knew what the extra paper was. Her number. Sapphire stood. "ill see you in the car." she said and ran out bumping shoulders with the waitress. the waitress fell on her ass. Sapphire kept going to her car.
Luca blinked, confused.He helped Lily stand up.
"Good-bye" he smiled.
Lily nodded, blushing hard from embarrassment.
Luca quietly followed after Sapphire.
Once in the parking lot, he caught up to her.
"Sapphire... what's going on?" he asked her, reaching for her hand and pulling her back to him in a gentle way.
Sapphire pulled her hand away. " are you seriously that clueless?" she asked
"I beg your pardon?" Luca blinked.
Sapphire let out a laugh " your litterally that clueless." she said shaking her head
"What am I clueless about?" Luca reached for her hand again.

Sapphire sighed " I know but - I'm sorry." she said looking down
Luca pulled her into a hug."It's alright..." he said gently.
Sapphire blushed furiously . How could he like her after she was such a bitch to him.
Luca chuckled softly."I didn't expect you to get so jealous so quick" he teased, though not in a mean way.
Sapphire laughed " I'm that type." she said
