was that on the show or in the books?

Now, that would be cool. XD

Must have had way too much time on his/her hands.

Now, that would be cool. XD"
no it wouldn't, the first time having sex is an uncomfortable and often painful experience, with little actual pleasure... why would anyone want to do that over and over again?

Vampires aren't real! Dang it all! I was hoping to bump into Lestat down in New Orleans one time.
LOL

LOL

Yeah, right. Next thing you're gonna tell me that there is no Santa, Cthulhu or Jesus?

Just in the show. It happens to a character who isn't in the books.

And so it would in the canon of Anne Rice, but as far as I know, she doesn't feature any intercourse between a vampiress and a mortal man.

I new some series mentioned it, I just could't remember which one.

I don't know... Because you'll be forever virgin? Hehe. Haven't thought of that, though. Now that you've mentioned... Yeah, that wouldn't be cool. :D

LOL what novels have you been reading? Have you read The Vampire Armand? Anne's vampires are always very sexual and there's nothing wrong with that.

Funny stuff...

Funny stuff..."
Bahahaha. My friend wondered so I told her I'd ask. :P

It depends; how flexible are they?

Armand had many sexual experiences but when he was alive, in his book he says that Marius looked sad beside him and wouldn't touch him. That was because he couldn't do what he wanted.
That's also the reason why Lestat found himself a girl as soon as he gets a human body. Female vampires are never explained though.

Anyway, having the hymen heal would be annoying unless the vamp was into S&M. Images of feline intercourse come to mind -although that is a barbed penis situation.

Everyone knows true vampires can't have sex.
First, a male vampire doesn't have the blood flow for an erection.
Second, a female virgin vampire can try it with a non-vampire, but he wouldn't have the strength required to break her hymen.

I'd also like to point out that there is a hole in the hymen naturally, before a woman ever has sex. That's how blood flows out during menstruation. Despite popular (extremely popular) thought, you can't tell if a woman is a virgin or not simply by examining her hymen. It's true that some women may have smaller hymens, which widen after she's had intercourse for a while (hence the bleeding when she has sex for the first time), but unless you kept a record of 'before' and 'after,' you still wouldn't be able to tell.

I see nothing wrong in sex. I was just convinced vampires even if erotic beings are unable for phisical act of love. I don't remember if it ever happened in these parts of chronicles I have been reading so far. Actually I felt kind of relief Lestat has ended his virginity before turning into vampire because he would not be able to taste it after. I haven't touched Vampire Armand yet though and seriously doubt I will read anything more by Anne Rice in foreseeable future.

what happens to the rest of Rice's vampires' organs?

Must have had way too much time on his/her hands."
This whole thread is proof positive that some people's minds should be kept in a jar under armed guard and only allowed to be removed by legitimate researchers into simian regression syndrome...

You forgot another main point...not only can vampires not gain an erection due to lack of blood...they are also not real.

Exaxtally! lol

Actually they are into sex, A LOT. They frequent brothels and in the Queen of the Damned, there was a scene where Lestat was looking at his reflection after having sex with Akasha.
I even think he mentioned something about having a perpetual erection.
Now, THAT's uncomfortable.

I have a theory for that. They can't "grow" new organs but they can fix any broken ones. Like what happened to the hawk-nosed vampire Santino ganged with in The Vampire Lestat. It also happened with Nicholas in the same book.
I think if you cut a vampires legs, it would stay that way. Forever. Unless you reattach them.

Agreed... Rice mentions their "hard members" and hints at it even though she doesn't outright explicitly tell it. I think Rice's vampires find a sexuality in the blood, the connection of flesh so sensual.. at least in my mind.. it was "unsaid" but there.

Which would you prefer?
Mine, on the other hand, have all their faculties. What a bitch.

Also, most girls break/tear their hymen during other activities, like exercise. So having a broken hymen also isn't an indicator of lack of virginity.
