What Scott did for Nora will never be forgotten. He kept his oath to protect her till the end, even if it meant his death. His sacrifice will not be in bane. I cried when he died and couldn't help but wonder what he could have had with Vee.

I loved Scott! He was my favorite and he cared for Nora so much. I was really upset he died. I didn't really care for him with Vee though.

I was devistated. Scott was my favorite character!!! I don't understand how she could let him die...
I cried. A lot. Scotty the Hawtie RIP. He is my favorite character in the entire series.
It was so sad! Why couldn't Nora have possesed Dante before he killed Scott? But then someone important had to die or it would have been too happy if you know what I mean? At least it wasn't over the top "everyone you liked apart from the main character dies" kinda book. Poor Vee. Sooo sad... At least Patch got back though!
I would trade Scott for Patch. He would be fine. But what about my girl, Vee? Vee + Scott = me happy forever!

Four for you, Georgia. You go, Georgia. I was daring someone to to start and arguement about Patch and Scott.
He shouldn't have died, he was my favourite character. And, why did Vee get married to Gavin, we don't even know who he is, poor Scott.

I wasn't that disappointed when Patch 'died'. I would trade him for Scott any day. I just preferred Scott. Don't get me wrong, I liked Patch too. Scott was just really loyal and was on Nora's side the whole time and his death was what disappointed me the most.

Yeah!!! I mean, he's just some random person....no backstory or anything!!! I would at least want to know more about him. But I ship Scott and Vee!!!
I think the ending was sloppy. It felt random that Scott died and to justify killing him off they had to Come up with someone to Marry Vee.
Scott would have died even if he hadn't helped Nora when she needed it because of his stupid vow. So that's that.

It's true but we can't just hate him for no reason. Would you rather have Vee miserable and bawling her eyes out over Scott for the rest of eternity, or would you rather have her move on and hold a little spot for Scott forever in her heart. You know wherever Scott is, he would have wanted her to be happy.

i almost died when i thought Patch was dead and when Nora thought he died Omg there were tears!
I loved Scott!! He soooo did not deserve to die like that. (Dante is a a**h***) But am I the only one who didn't like Patch? Never once did it say why Hora or Patch liked each other other than 'He is sooooo hotttt' I think she should have gotten with Scott. :'(
I cried when he died. When he was fighting Dante i was like yeah go Scott! And then he was gone, why did he have to die he was a good guy and he would have made a great bf for Vee. And he was a awesome friend to Nora
Scott was THE nicest and most dependable guy in the series. No better friend than him and Vee to Nora. But because it was a war he had to die to make it realistic. Scott was a bit of a buffer in the relationship of Patch and Nora so he had to gotten rid of.
But his death was not necessary, he could predictably and happily be paired up with Vee. Vee deserves to be paired up with a nice guy after everything. And he didn't even got a herotic farewell or mourning, he was dead and after just like 5 sentences not mentioned anymore.
But lik Vee said at the end "Dang it all"....it was a good ending

I was just extremely disappointed that he died because as everyone said he did not deserve dying after all the ways he helped Nora. So yes one can't help but cry and feel really bad for Vee since they didn't get back together.
I hated his death I thought it didn't forfill him. Plus he had that whole thing going with Vee. I'll always miss Scott.
Scott was honestly, my favourite character of the saga, I was so sad when he died.
I don't think I've been that upset over a character dying (it's right up there with Dobby and Hedwig). I didn't really understand the reasoning behind it. While I was reading the scene I kept thinking, "DON'T YOU DARE FITZPATRICK, DON'T YOU DARE". And then she dared. :[ Then Gavin gets introduced and I'm sitting there wondering here he came from...

I was waiting for someone to say they didn't really care for Scott and Vee! I mean vee is great and all but I couldn't exactly see her with scott like everyone else... He cared for nora soooo much.. It was heart shattering when he died and I couldn't believe it.. :'( I realize patch loves nora as well but regardless I would trade him for scott in a heartbeat. It wasn't fair how he got to live but scott died for good. R.I.P scott, love you forever
P.S I preferred scott with nora...
I might be the only one but I felt as though scott only went to the Halloween party with vee because nora told him to.. He didn't show any attraction to vee before and it's clear that he goes to great lengths for nora, he even let patch posses him just for her!! He's totally against possession and not too fond of patch either but he didn't argue just for Nora's sake and also when nora was upset over patch's feather burning scott said he knew she cared for patch but refused to acknowledge she loved him even when she made that clear through her actions. Throughout the series I thought scott and nora were really cute together and his letter shown at the end of silence nearly brought me to tears.. :(

I hated how they seemed to forget him a little while after he died and nora and patch just lived happily ever after. At least he was mentioned in the epilogue... :(
