Mariama Lei So a lot of you probably know how this works...
you start with one line and other people keep adding on to it line by line...
Ex:

Me: The day was just beginning, with shafts of sunlight peeking through the clouds.

You: A flower caught the golden rays of the sun as Mary woke up in her upstairs bedroom.

Another Person: Mary knew that today was going to be a special day just by the feel of it. She couldn't wait to begin the day.

So anyway... you guys get the drift right? I hope that this story turns out really cool and i can't wait to see how creative people are here at GR!!:)

Mariama Lei Claws of lightning streaked across the sky, their forked hands scratching and clawing at the storm leaden clouds. An icy torrent of steel rain poured from the heavens, mercilessly beating down fragile flowers and trampling grasses into oblivion. Huddled under a dripping overhang was a scruffy, disheveled child, her raven hair damp from the downpour and and her gray eyes matching her surroundings. She shivered in the cool air and wondered how in the world she arrived at this situation.

Lyra Maybe she was still in shock about what happened because can't remember a thing on how she ended up here.
"C'mon, Alex. Think!" She said to herself.

Flora (Is raven hair black hair?)

Images started to stir in her mind. Flashes of life in the dungeon. Dungeon? Yeah, it seemed like that. Dark, damp and stinky place.

Isabella (All Da Ladies Luv Leo) Thomas Well whatever. All that mattered was the present. And her belly. She was so hungry she could eat a cow.

johanna (jo) Grimacing as her stomache rumbled furiously, she craned her neck to see through the pouring rain. A fragrance reached her nostrils - warm, freshly cooked food!

Mariama Lei But the strange thing was, there was no sign of any type of establishment in the vicinity. Alex's surroundings were damp, direlect, and obviously devoid of any food. How is it that she could smell all those delicious aromas, yet not see anything but the steel curtain of rain and twisted gnarled trees in every direction she turned? Something peculiar certainly was going on here. And she still couldn't recall her memories. They were like droplets of water that she tried to cup in her hands but couldn't quite grasp.

Lyra So, she debated mentally whether to follow the scent or just follow her gut instinct and stay hidden. In the end, her stomach won over her brain, and she began to find the source of the wonderful smell.

Flora (Mariama is detailed...)

The smell, aroma was actually coming from a cottage. It was quite distant. She followed the light and as she crossed over. She felt strange and as if she's flying. The rain had stopped too, somehow or other...

She pushed her wet and damp hair back and knocked on the door. A boy opened the door. His hair glowed with a golden ray.

'Hello girl, what do you want?' he asked kindly, his blue eyes seeking her dark ones.

Lyra "Food." She answered automatically. Then, shook her head, then tried again. "I mean, uhm... I'm hungry, and cold and is looking for food?"
She don't know why, but she felt a little disoriented when she saw the boy.

Flora The boy smiled warmly at the girl with her damp and unkempt hair. He gestured for her to come in. 'Make yourself at home.'

The boy snapped his finger and immediately Alex was clothed near and clean clothes. Food appeared on the table. The boy pulled a chair back and sat looking at the girl. She gobbled the food down greedily.

'I'm Joe.' He introduced.

Karlee Alex brushed her hair out of her face and smiled. "I'm Alex."

The smile he sent her sent chills running down her spine, and she could feel her cheeks flushing, the color reaching her deep emerald eyes.

Flora (I.. Think she's brown eyed. Hazel coloured. In front...)

Joe smiled and said, 'Do you know where this place is? I'm a Faerie, well half anyway. The other half is human. Just like you from your looks. How did you end up here?'

Alex nodded curtly and looked down, averting the boy's light blue gaze.

Lyra "I'm not sure how, really. What is this place, anyway?" She asked while looking at the floor.

(Oops, sorry!)

Mackenzie "It's the place where all wondering souls meet." said Joe in an absentminded way, looking out the window with he brow furrowed.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Alex asked
