How is day one going for you guys?

I was planning on starting at midnight, but I fell asleep! Old people problems! I set up everything this morning so I could come straight home from work and get to it.

How is your first day going?

My first day was okay - hit 1,036, which is obviously below 1,667, but above my own week 1 target of 500 a day (as I have exams)...

It's 11am on day 2 for me, and I have an exma in a few hours, but I might sneak some in as a distraction before I get on the train :P

I had a huge influx of creativity and just couldn't stop writing. Ended up getting to 4881 words! Really awesome start, for me.

4,110 for my first day... had my plot outline and first chapter done already. Felt good to write all day.

So far so good. I got 1182 down just after midnight before going to bed and then got it up to 2052 before midnight. Now I need to get to bed but I hope not to fall behind even though I have the kitchen remodeling preparation to do this weekend.

I actually got to start at 12:01 a.m this year. Then hit up a live write-in this evening and topped it all off with some twitter sprints. Total of 5265 for first day. And I will need it later when I have exams!

I managed about 6,200 words. I hope I can keep going with it. It's the third book in a trilogy and I've been stuck on it for ages. I was about 3000 words in so I scrapped it and started from scratch yesterday. If I can get 50,000 words done this month I will be delighted.

was up at midnight at write until two! Only got a thousand words in but happy with that! Done a couple of sprints on Twitter aswell :-) Final word count for the day was 3001, but the 2nd day might not be so good :-(

I just found out about NaNoWriMo (I know how delayed of me).
So this will be my first year. Damnit I'm so excited!
But the site's down for maintenance at the moment.
