Enjoy!

Mary Beth (lifelovebooks) I just love Libba Bray. The language in this book is truly fantastic - I love the way Evie's dialogue really sets the historical period and her personality. The story is huge but there is so much going on in terms of the plot of the occult murders, but also the setting of what is to come. There is humor and horror, romance and angst, history and the supernatural - really a little of everything for everyone.

Jeanette Johnson | 22 comments I'm not a huge Libba Bray fan, but I have to say this is my favorite book of hers. I enjoyed the way the story unfolded. Not too much information to process at one time although the story is complex. Evie steals the show with her personality. Set in New York in the Roaring 20's, Evie is the life of the party. I thought the story was slightly long winded in parts, but overall I would recommend Diviners to others.

the series will be at least three books and perhaps a fourth. I can't remember what Libba Bray told me at ALA this year. So we have at least two more fabulous Diviners books to look forward to!!

Kirsten (kirsten27) | 53 comments I put this book on my Christmas wish list and I can't wait to read it! The reviews for it have been amazing.
