Quote attributed to R.D. Laing

I have a reference question from a patron regarding the original source of a quote attributed to R.D. Laing. Here is the quote: “Creative people who can't help but explore other mental territories are at greater risk, just as someone who climbs a mountain is more at risk than someone who just walks along a village lane.” I have been at this for three days. Thus far, Internet searches have turned up empty. I've watched Youtube interviews to no avail. I am currently reading the author's books. Help!
