In this topic post any books you're not sure to read...Then if other people have read the book you are unsure to read then they can tell you if it's good or not..

So i'm not sure if I should read.. Infinity (Chronicles of Nick, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon , The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, #1) by James Patterson , Eragon (Inheritance, #1) by Christopher Paolini has anyone read them??

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

Maximum Ride was pretty good and I'm going to start Eragon soon so I'll let you know what I think when I start it. I haven't read Infinity, though.

I'm not sure whether I want to read Hush, Hush or The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight?? Anyone read them?

Maximum Ride is really only good in the first 3 books it gorss downhill from there. Eragon is amazing!! The second book wasnt as good because it was more focused on Roran but the 3rd and 4th are just as awesome as Eragon <3

Nope worse because Dylan comes and just ruins everything and the ending was sort of good.

I read the maze runner.. It was good, im not in love with it and some parts pissed me off, but the idea of the book was interesting... it wasnt bad, you should give it a try, i told my freind to read it and she loved it!

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) I'm debating which book to read next...
Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer or The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I've heard great things about both!

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) Okay XD
I'll read Cinder next! (Thanks!)

Marrie These are books that have mixed reviews so I'm not sure to read them:
Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare Fated (Soul Seekers, #1) by Alyson Noel Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle, #1) by Christopher Paolini

And I'm not sure about these because of the hype: Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth The Help by Kathryn Stockett
P.S. I own all of these :)

message 19: by Marrie (new)

Marrie Thanks. Everyone keeps saying those are good. I probably won't read them for a while though because I have so many library books :P

I've read Fated, and honestly; it's nothing but a cover fraud. Too many descriptions, and the guy that's supposed to be the "love intrest" left me neutral; it doesn't even say why Daire fell in love with him (she just sees him in his dreams...) I've heard Halo was terrible, so I left that abandoned, Evermore..wimpy protagonist...
I definetely think you should read City of Bones, since the movie is coming out this summer.

I thought it was Ok but not the best book that I have ever read. Its kind of intense, so if you don't like intense things then don't read it.

message 36: by Marrie (new)

Marrie Diana ❀ ☺ wrote: "im not sure if i should read... Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson"

I agree with Annabel, it was intense but it's still one of my favorite books, mainly because it helped me cope with my depression. In my opinion, it's a deep theraputic book. After it though, you might want to go for something a little lighter to subside the heavy deepness of this book. Still, I recommend it if you can handle books about depression.

It's one of my favorites but to each is own. It just holds a special meaning because of what was going on in my life at the time I read it. Anyway, like I said, The Perks of Being A Wallflower is pretty good. Not my favorite or anything but not too bad.

TheOriginalNikeGirl I've been trying to decide whether or not I should read the Darkness Rising Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong:
The Gathering (Darkness Rising, #1) by Kelley Armstrong The Calling (Darkness Rising, #2) by Kelley Armstrong The Rising (Darkness Rising, #3) by Kelley Armstrong
I read the original trilogy and all the little bonus novellas and everything, and I WANT to read this trilogy, but I'm afraid I'll get bitter reading a series based in the same world as another series I've read but with none of the same character's I know and love.
It's happened before with the Night World Series by L.J. Smith. I couldn't read volumes 2 or 3 because they didn't share characters from volume 1.
Should I read it? Should I not? Does anyone have any advice for me?

Amber (the smiling cupcake) (ambercyan) | 96 comments I read The Gathering, and I liked it, but I just couldn't get into the next book. It just seemed boring to me. I don't know why though

Sorry, that doesn't really help, does it? My advice is to try reading it. Most people who I know that have read it enjoyed the whole series :)

Alyssa | 127 comments Not sure of these for various reasons... Nevermore (Nevermore, #1) by Kelly Creagh his journal past thing sounds like a boring history story with a bad twist Marked (House of Night, #1) by P.C. Cast has terrible reviews Extras (Uglies, #4) by Scott Westerfeld still mad at the original series Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand I don't know, it just another angel story. after hush hush saga I don't think anything will be that good. Help?

message 47: by Marrie (new)

Marrie Unearthly is amazing! Read it!!! I think Nevermore will be good. I heard it was amazing. Don't read HoN though. You don't want to get sucked into that stupid series. The heroine is annoying and they are dragging the story way out.
