not sure to read... Masque of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #1) by Bethany Griffin

message 53: by Marrie (new)

Marrie I'm not sure to read Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick and Fated (Soul Seekers, #1) by Alyson Noel They both have really mixed reviews and I can't decide if I should give them a shot.

I liked the Perks of Being a Wallflower. The Lost Code I didn't like. You have to really like fantasy books because that's what it is. There's a little bit of romance too.
The other two books I have not heard of before.

Alyssa I'm not sure if I should read Timeless (Timeless, #1) by Alexandra Monir
It sounds kind of interesting, but it's not the type of book I usually read.

Personally, I love Hush. Hush. It's one of those series that I've been with for years, so I kind of have to.
Fated I haven't read, and unless I somehow get it for free I probably never will read it. I have no faith in Alyson Noel. I read the first four books in the Immortals series, which was AWFUL. And I have the first two books in the Riley Bloom series sitting on my shelf, and they've been there for quite some time.

U have to read Divergent!!! It's maybe a little slow at the beginning, for me at least, but it's sooo worth it in the end!

message 65: by [deleted user] (new)

The Unbecoming by Mara Dyer? O.o

GlitchObsession-Eridan's Matesprit (DontlaughIknowwhereyoulive) The Percy Jackson series? I've heard good reviews about it but want to know what it's about. I've been looking frantically in the library for it but still can't find it!

message 67: by Marrie (new)

Marrie Oh my god! Read PJO! JUST DO IT. You won't regret it. And then you can read the spin off series too and be all depressed that House of Hades isn't out until this October with the rest of us :P

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) I don't know if I should read Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, #1) by Orson Scott Card
It's being made into a movie, so I figured that I might read it. BUT it's much older than the books I usually read (which scares me for some odd reason).

message 69: by Marrie (new)

Marrie I never read it, but my friend did and she loved it.

I didn't enjoy this book very much. It was too boyish for me. I also think it's better for younger teens, maybe 12-year-olds.
I think you'll like it only if you're really into sci-fi.

message 72: by Renee (new)

Renee okay, so I've read Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia
and I know that there are these three next in the series Beautiful Darkness (Caster Chronicles, #2) by Kami Garcia Beautiful Chaos (Caster Chronicles, # 3) by Kami Garcia Beautiful Redemption (Caster Chronicles, #4) by Kami Garcia
but what's this book? It says on GR that it's like, Caster Chronicles 2.5? Do you have to read it to understand the rest of the series?
Dream Dark (Caster Chronicles, #2.5) by Kami Garcia

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) No, you don't have to read it.
I haven't read it, but I still understood the series perfectly.
It's just an extra book that you could read if you feel like.

Stephi ♥ Birthmarked (Birthmarked, #1) by Caragh M. O'Brien Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austin Virals (Virals, #1) by Kathy Reichs 13 to Life (13 to Life #1) by Shannon Delany

Anyone know if these are any good? I don't know if I should bother, its conflicting!!

and another question, I've been planning on reading the percy Jackson books, what is the order?? and does it really matter? I know some series are kinda un-ordered.

the book is better than the movie, the best made movie was Eclipse in my opinion, and the books are good up til Breaking Dawn Breaking Dawn was rushed through and her logic just got weird. But the first three are good.

Harleen | 152 comments Okay I started reading The Evolution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #2) by Michelle Hodkin and I got about 50 pages in and I'm not really sure about it right now. The first book was SO good in the first half but then it went really downhill for me and now this book is just...I don't know someone help me

message 89: by Marrie (new)

Marrie Guys, I'm reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7) by J.K. Rowling right now, but after that I'm reading Looking for Alaska by John Green Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson and Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver to take a break from series. After that, I don't know if I should continue with the Gone series; I'm on the book Lies, and I have the next two after that, or read Divergent since I have both books in that series. Which series should I read? Is Divergent good or should I continue with the Gone series before reading Divergent?

Yikes, that sounds like a tough choice. Divergent is really good, maybe read that first to take a break from the Gone series. Btw, is the Gone series any good? I've heard of it so yeah...

It's pretty good :) I'm on the third book right now and it's really a good story, although it can be kind of gory sometimes so if you don't like that, I wouldn't suggest reading it. The first one isn't too gory, but the second one might be for some people in certain parts.

message 99: by Sapir (new)

Sapir | 27 comments I read Hush Hush a year ago and it was quite good. Nothing original, but it was quite enjoyable.
I tried to read Obsidian this week and I gave up on it 25% through. It was so annoying and Twilight-ish that I just couldn't bring myself to continue reading!
