Congratulations Gynger! This sounds like an interesting read. I'll add this to my TBR list. Good Luck!
How long is the story? Is it an IR comedy? Or straight romance? I hope a bit of comedy, because I love to laugh, and just reading what I have, I could easily see placement of some funny situations. So how long have you been working on this story? Just thinking about it has me grinning. Is it natural occurring romantically erotic? Or really into it? Please warn if it goes over the edge...:/?

Hi Mercedes! thank you for showing interest in my work. The Bucket List is just shy of 20K words in length.It is an IR comedy with romantic/erotic elements. I love to laugh too so there are a lot of funny moments. I worked on the story off and one for about two months before I decided to finish it and submit it.
I'd been told by my family and friends that I had a talent for writing but, you know how that is. I didn't want to be like those poor souls on American Idol who's family and friends convinced them they could sing! when really they should be put out of their misery. LOL Some times people mean well but really do you a disservice by not being honest.
At any rate, I got the green light the first time out! and it's been smooth sailing every since. Granted it's only been four months but it's been like a whirlwind affair; heady and adventurous.
The story really only has one full on sex scenes and two partials. I think you will enjoy it. I always tell people. I was a reader of IR romance many, many years before writing it. There are things that I liked as a reader which I keep in mind when I write.
1. I don't give you sex up front unless it makes sense to to so.
2. My story will have a plot and not just involve sex, unless the story is a part of a writing challenge that I have entered.
3. I like a good tease so expect that.
4. J. California Cooper is one of my idols so I like a quirky character. The women in my stories have flaws like we all do. In the Bucket List, the heroine; Grace has breast but no butt LOL. In my second story Chocolate Surprise, the heroine is 12 years younger than the hero who is 54 and having problems getting his solider to stand LOL. In my next story; Thanksgiving Secrets, the heroine is not only tall and is self conscious about her feet. LOL
That was a nod to one of my good friends who's in that same boat but, it also acknowledges the fact that black women come in all shapes and sizes. So that's what I like and that's what I write.
