Anthony Lund (anthonylund) | 8 comments Hi all,

I'm Anthony...still.

I've written something in pretty much every genre going including humour, fantasy, horror, crime, romance (just the once), thriller, drama and every combination of them.

My first book, published way back in 2007, was A Christmas Carol Retold, a parody of the Dickens classic and a true "write for yourself" book. It is the kind of parody i love to read so writing it every bit a pleasure.

My new novel is Grim Reaping, a surreal comic fantasy about Death and what happens when he discovers a plot to kill him...by men in green Lyrca. The book originally made it to the Quarter Finals of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award in 2012, receiving positive reviews up until a seemingly compulsory mauling by Publishers Weekly.

You can check out the Grim Reaping Book Trailer

Both books are currently being offered on the Kindle for less than £1. Links below.

New comical fantasy from British author Anthony Lund. An Amazon Breakthrough Novel Quarter Finalist in 2012, find out why Supernatual Supermarket called it a "rollicking read" and other pre-publication reviewers said it is "the most original idea seen in a long time" for less than £1 for a limited time only.

Here is the blurb and book link. Take a look and enter the surreal existence of Grim Alfonso Reaper.

The life of Death is never simple, but when little green men are rumoured to be plotting his demise things can get so complicated.
Welcome to the Business of Life, the company responsible for Existence, run exquisitely under the ever watchful, all-seeing-eye of Johnny B God.
In the grand scheme of all things Immortal, Grim Alfonzo Reaper has been the collector of souls since the Days of Creation, which followed many millennia of brainstorming and graph analysis, but he has never come across a situation where a soul he collects apparently died while digging his grave.
Who would want to kill Death? Men in green Lycra apparently which would suggest a lack of both common and dress sense.
Aided and hindered in equal measure by a verbally-challenged demon, the Devil himself, and a multitude of vapourous but colourful collected souls, Grim finds that his life was much simpler when all humans had to say was "Ug."
A surreal comic fantasy about death, life, love, annoyance, violence, depravity, green Lycra and just a little Grim Reaping.
