Ron Francis (ronfrancis32) | 31 comments I just finished Kenobi and I'm halfway through Fatal Alliance. Those are both stand alones. I don't read all the pre episode 4 books but I did enjoy Kenobi and I'm enjoying Fatal Alliance. Good books to try if you're not looking to get involved in a fifteen book series.

Amber, good call on the Millennium Falcon book. I really enjoyed that one. Another good stand alone was Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor.

Jordan (dabink) | 25 comments Oh, I know there have been tons of standalones published, it has just been a while since there was one on the forward edge of the continuity as opposed to filling in gaps earlier on. And yeah, Millenium Falcon was pretty good. Slightly different category for me though, because of all the backstory to run through.

I think that was the whole point of the book, Jordan. :D

Jordan (dabink) | 25 comments It was! I was simply pointing out why I felt we hadn't had a standalone adventure set in that part of the timeline for quite a while.

Jordan (dabink) | 25 comments It was quite good, it just wasn't what I was talking about.

message 59: by Amber (new)

Amber Martingale | 264 comments OK. Sorry if I confused anyone, Jordan.

Jordan (dabink) | 25 comments It's ok :-) It was a subtle point of differentiation....
