I do have a rather dumb question myself. I am hopeless when it comes to reading series in order and keep to my series and I know the byline is "Series catch-up" so I am ashamed to ask, but:

Is the rule to read books higher than #2 in ongoing series, or would a book that's #3 count even if it is in a new series?

I would think it's up to you Susanne. We're the challenge impaired, so don't think anyone's going to be too strict on you :-). I have a thing about not reading books out of order, but I know there are some series that could almost be read as stand-alones, so it doesn't make much of a difference.

Oh! I didn't understand the post, so that's why I asked. So now you're legally blind? How awful for you! How do you feel? Was this something that caught you by surprise or did you know that your vision was deteriorating?

I really though mty vision wouyld stay where it was, but I guess as you age it gets worse. Just means I can't drive. You can still read and that and TVG is about all I have to do every day.
