I have an alternate cover for a 1997 First edition, tenth printing of ISBN 0-87542-791-X (To Ride A Silver Broomstick, by Ravenwolf, Silver)

I am cautious about changing the cover of this ISBN, since the details on the ISBN refer to the 2002 edition, but I am unable to find an earlier edition linked to the ISBN. I own the book and have scanned the cover; what is the correct procedure to follow?

Yes, publisher sites are ok. I got that one.

Kobo is a bookseller, and booksellers are NOT ok. However, the author uploaded a sample of the book that included the cover, and I got the image from that.
