I added my book to Goodreads about twenty minutes ago and it's still not registering??

How do I send my cover, the only place it's stored is on amazon and my hard drive?

You can upload the cover you have on your hard disk in the profile images folder or you can use a site like flicker, tinypics etc

Hi! Could someone please help me? My book is listed on Goodreads, but only has a green generic cover with the title and my name on it. I would like to have the actual cover uploaded but can't seem to be able to do it myself. The book is entitled Broken Road and my name is Elizabeth Yu-Gesualdi. Book page details are as follows:

Thanks J! Hope this works. Cutting and pasting of the actual photo isn't working. I'm not able to get it to paste in the comment box. I don't know why. I've cut and pasted the photo to many other locations, but it just won't take here.

J, the problem is that I'm not able to "paste" the photo into this comment box. I did try scanning it and then copying and pasting it over, but once again, it wouldn't take the pasting. There doesn't seem to be a way of uploading it, unless I'm not seeing it. Any advice?

We solved Elizabeth's problem by having her email me her image and then I uploaded it. A happily-ever-after story.

As Rivka, our wonderful and patient volunteer coordinator, keeps telling us: You can't change the cover. Is this a new edition? We van create a new edition and then you, as author, can decide which comes first.

Just to clarify David,

If the book is undergoing a "major edit", is the result not going to be a new edition? Excuse my ignorance of the book trade. I'll be happy to make changes when I'm clear on this.

Hi! Sorry to ask a question that is not related to adding book covers (that question was taken care of for me yesterday. Thanks again!). My question today is, how can I remove a star rating that I accidentally gave myself? I was trying to figure out how edit my author profile page and I gave my book a 5 Star rating (well, wouldn't you??! LOL!)and now it doesn't go away. I clicked on "clear rating" and the rating disappears at that point, but when I check later on, the 5 star rating is still there. Plus, I had my friend check through her account, and it is there also. Please help. I feel stupid and people won't take the book seriously when they see that the author gave herself 5 stars! The book is entitled Broken Road and my name is Elizabeth Yu-Gesualdi.

Hi again Elizabeth,

I believe that you are changing the star rating and not saving. Go into edit on Review and change your rating. Then go down to the bottom of the box and press Save. easy.
