Cover page showing two different covers

I found something strange here - the cover page of this edition is showing two different covers:

That happens sometimes when something goes wrong in an image upload. Do you know which cover is correct for that particular edition?

I'm sorry, but I have no idea which is the right one. Both Worldcat and Amazon have the one with the swimming people, but several other online sources show the other one...

There are two different editions of this book with very different content being represented as the same book. The light blue cover, ISBN 9780684857961, is the 1999 first edition. The orange, red, and white cover, ISBN 9781416532279, is the 2007 second edition.
