I would like to change the story and make it more happier

I would like to make it endless. XD Seriously, it would be fun like that.
I would like to add another sequel to the sequel about what happened when they got back to the mainland.
I wish that The End would've taken place at the Hotel. It would've been great. The hotel was swarming with interesting characters from the series, and I was hoping there would be an ultimate showdown between the volunteers and the villains. It would've been great.
I wish it would have answered more questions that were brought up through the entire series. I love these books, but I was sad when it ended the way it did.
All in all, still a fun read! :)

that it would have a happy ending, and know what would happen after they set sail
I wish there was an epilogue(I don't remember if there was one) in which we could get more information about what they did when they got back to mainland. I also want to know if the kid they addopted is actually the author, because I remember they had the same name. I wish there was an actual explanation about what happenned to the other characters, because they met a lot of people whose stories we didn't get to know. And I wish there was a happier ending. Olaf might be dead, but there are so many other things the kids suffered from. I wish there was a little bit of romance, too, between Violet and that other kid whose name I can't remember.
I really liked the way Snicket ended The End they way he did. Although I do want to know what happened to everyone, what the Great Unknown is and all of the secrets of V.F.D, I think it leaves us in more or less the same position as the Baudelaires: totally unaware of what happened in that year they were on the island.
Chapter 14 shows them just as they're leaving the island and on their way to (possibly) finding out what happened at the hotel after they left. The way Snicket doesn't tell you what happened after they left (although this has partially been revealed), it gives the reader an idea of the secrets hidden world and questions we might never know the answer to. I think it's much more powerful than giving them a 'happily ever after' ending, which would slightly ruin everything that's been built up over the previous 12 books.
