If Voldemort ever hit Harry with a killing curse before the seventh book, would he have still gone to the lingo place? If yes, would Voldemort go there too, or just Harry? Anyone have any ideas?

To your original post - I never considered that, but perhaps they only looked for the places they were going and not at the map in general?
To respond to your second point, I think that if Harry had been hit with the killing curse from Voldemort anytime after GoF but before DH then Harry would have died - he only went to the in-between place as he had all the Deathly Hallows which allowed him the choice as to whether carry on living or to pass on. I also think that it was only with the Deathly Hallows that the horcurx inside Harry was killed. So no Voldemort would never have gone into the inbetween place.
At least that is how I interpret it!

I am not sure if they need a wand or not. However, in regards to Malfoy Manor it had the same spells on it to not allow apparation, similar to Hogwarts. They were only able to disapperate on a side along with Doby because house elfs could apperate anywhere and the spells would not hinder them.

I do not think wizards can apparate without wands, because in the chapter when they disguise themselves as ministry people, Reg Cattermole's wife has to apparate without a wand, and Ron said "do you think she'll be ok, apparating without a wand?" I think it is possible, but not encouraged.

Well Fred and George specifically told Harry that they only used the map for secret passageways, nothing else.

I forget, do the carriages bring them to the Hogwarts Express at the end of the year as well?

I remember this being addressed before as well. I think the answer was that his parents' deaths hadn't really sunk in yet and, think about it, he was a very young child when it happened so maybe he doesn't remember it or has blocked the actual killings from his mind?

But that's not the question. JK Rowling did address that. I believe Ayah's point was that at the end of the fourth book, when Harry went home after the school year, Harry should have been able to see the thestrals, because he had just witnessed Cedric's death.
I'm not saying I support that, though, because I don't remember whether the carriages bring them back to the Hogwarts Express at the end of the school year.

Considering the emotional turmoil that Harry suffered at the end of GoF, that he didn't see the thestrals on the way to the Hogwarts Express really isn't all that surprising. If he'd have seen the thestrals, it would have been a plot point that would have had to be resolved, and JKR didn't have time to resolve it in GoF. Harry, being emotionally overwrought, paid no attention to what was going on around him and didn't notice the thestrals. It makes sense.

I know, I was replying to MJ.

Yeah i guess that makes sence soo thanks guys. :)

I always thought that Harry would've died before book four if he was hit by a killing curse. However, he wouldn't after book four because Voldemort used Harry's blood in the potion thingy in the graveyard thingy. So if Voldemort has Harry's blood in him, Harry can't die.
