((this is the place you can look at info about mythical creatures. if you have anything please put it in ( ) and I will get to it ASAP. BTW any questions are comments once answered or replied to will be delted, so that this page will stay clean and not full of random stuff :) ))
Fey/Fae/Fay/FairiesFood: Fey have their own special food, and if one offers you some, be sure to refuse. Otherwise you'll be unable to ever leave the fairy realm.
Life span: Immortal
Powers: Varies depending on the fairy. Common powers include the ability to predict the future(The Sight), creating illusions(Glamours), healing, the ability to speak any language, and they're at one with nature. They may not have some of these abilities, or have others in addition, depending on their type.
Weaknesses: Cold iron causes them pain, the farther they are, the less it affects them. If you know a fairy's true name it also gives you the power to control them. Fairies aren't able to lie. Sure, they can twist the truth, but not actually lie. Also, it's believed that a fairy can die of a broken heart.
Magical object:
Human appearance: Generally fairies are very beautiful when in their human forms. After all, they can look however they please, so why would they take an unattractive form?
Natural form: That really depends on the fairy. If they're a classic pixie or sprite, then they'll probaly look the same, but just have wings. Brownies are often considered to look like little children, but they specialize in being elusive as they don't have enough power to have a human form.
Other: Fey are devided into two courts, the Seelie(Summer or Light) and Unseelie(Winter or Darkness). Within the courts there are different types and ranks. However all the Unseelie fairies are cruel and heartless, while the Seelie ones, though more likely to be benevolent, and still mischevious.

Food: Meat, sometimes they snack on vampires. But at the school it is against the rules.
life span: Immortal.
Powers: Lightning fast, super strength, enhanced eye sight and can so very well in the dark. Also depending on their place in the pack or their blood line they can either change on command, at night, or only on a full moon.
Weaknesses: Silver bullets can harm but wont kill, the curse can never be broken because its more like a incurable sickness then anything else. and although not all do, some werewolves do not remember anything when they turn back into their human form. Some werewolves can't even control their transformation and will change if enraged.
Magical object: In the case of a werewolf not being able to control when he changes he will be given a talisman that when he wears it will keep him in human form.
Human appearance: they look like a normal human.
Natural form: Depending on their blood line and DNA, each Werewolfe will look different. Some with longer tails, bigger ears, or even multicolored fur.
Other: a person can become a werewolf by being born a werewolf, bitten by a werewolf, and being given the power threw sorcery. These are the only real ways.
Werewolves also tended to have certain personality traits. Which are angry, violent tendencies, and restlessness. But as the mature most traits can be kept in control.

Magical object: They cannot touch anything object that has been blessed.
Human appearance: they look like they normally do just without wings.

Food: Normal human food.
Life span: Immortal.

Witches/Wizards
Witches and Wizards are Spellcasters who have ability of some sort, but get their real power from hours of study and concentration. The more a wizard knows, the more powerful they are. They are the most common type of Spellcasters, as anyone with a bit of magical power and training falls into their category. With this, they are also divided into several categories, Magisters, Court Magicians, Scholars, and Jesters. Magisters are those wizards that have immense magical powers, as well as years of training. Through this they're quite rare, and also often immortal. Court Magicians are the witches of the world that were born with more power than most, but lack self control, and therefore are prone to accidents. They also tend to die young as they had the chance to become Magisters, but didn't. Court Magicians are often very hard to tell from your average sorcerer, but if you notice that they look more like normal people, that's a giveaway. Scholars are the wizards who might not have more power than most, but what they do have is a lot of knowledge, and in the world of witches, knowledge is power. And last, and even perhaps least, are Jesters. They are the failures of witches who have very little power, and often have less than a couple years of training.
Socerers/Soceresses
Socerers are Spellcasters that are a lot like witches, but with a bit of a difference. While the reason behind wizards powers often remains a mystery, the key to a sorcerer's magic lies in their blood. They're all decended from the unions of some sort of magical creature and humans, although their lineage is long forgotten. However, to mark their unique heritage sorcerers always have some sort of unique feature such as hair of some unusual color or eyes that are an odd coloring, perhaps even being mismatched. The more recent the none human blood is in their family, the more powerful their magic tends to be, though almost all sorcerers tend to be more powerful than the average witch or wizard. However, they're not as good at controling their power, since sorcerers don't really think they need to study, being born with power and all. Like all Spellcasters, Sorcerers have an affinity for certain types of magic, depending on their ancestry. For instance, a sorcerer with Fey blood might be particularly skilled in creating enchantments and illusions.
Necromancers
Necromancers are the darkest type of Spellcasters. Their magic involves bringing back the dead, both in corporal form, and simply summoning their spirits. They're also able to see the spirits of the dead and speak to them, as well as often command them. Necromancers also have an affinity for casting curses. Due to all the time they spend with the dead necromancers tend to be dark and aloof, and many are downright evil. However it would be wrong to assume all of them are the same.
Oracles
Oracles aren't particularly powerful spellcasters. They do have an affinity for casting divine magic, although this is only really useful against creatures with a definite alignment(such as vain, which are evil, or angels, which are good) or undead(like vampires). Others, like humans, and fey, may feel the presence of thei magic, but aren't affected by it. However, an Oracle's main asset is their ability to see into the future with visions and prophecies. Oracles are one of the rarest types of Spellcasters, as they tend to die young.
Enchanters/Enchantresses
Enchanters aren't good for much other than a trick or two. Their abilities are limited to casting simple charms like acttraction spells, and castin illusions which vary in power depending on the Enchanter's natural ability and how much practice they've had. Enchanters are also talented liars.
Druids
Druids are Spellcasters that are espicially at one with nature. Their magical abilities depend upon just how strong their bond with mother nature is. Common abilities of druids include speaking with animals, control over elements, though they always have a particular element they have more mastery over, healing, and even the ability to shapeshift into animalsfor a certain period of time.
Weaknesses: Generally Spellcasters' weaknesses are diverse, depending on their specific type. However common weaknesses include the fact that they aren't very adept at physical combat, certain herbal mixtures, and other Spellcasters.
Witches/Wizards
Generally a wizard's lust for knowledge is their greatest undoing.
Sorcerers/Sorceresses
Socerer's natural arrogance along with the accidents that come with untrained magic tend to be their greatest flaws.
Necromancers
Necromancers aren't exactly good socializers. For one reason or another their powers have caused them trouble with society, so often they don't really have any friends to really on.
Oracles
An oracle's main weakness is that their powers are often too much for them to handle, and they all tend to have extreme bad luck, dying young. Their deaths also tend to be related to a vision of theirs, one way or another.
Enchanters/Enchantresses
An Enchanter's weakness is anyone with a strong enough willpower to resist their illusions, even the slightest bit. Although such minds are quite rare, if one were to see through one of their illusions, Enchanters tend to immediatly panic. This enevitably causes them to loose their concentration, and their illusions collapse from there.
Druids

Magical object: Though they don't usually have a certain talisman that they were Spellcasters with often create their own, imbuing some of their powers into a certain object. Some actually inherit certain magical objects, depending on if they come from a long lineage of Spellcasters or not. Some of the more common magic item include staffs, wands, and enchanted brooms.
Human appearance: For most, it's the same as their natural form. However some like to use illusions or potions to make themselves seem more attractive. This is most popular among older female spellcasters.
Natural form: Overall, most spellcasters look like normal humans. However those with espicially unique lineage, perhaps with with some demon or Fey bllod, often have uniquely colored eyes or hair that is not a color usually considered natural.

Human appearance: they have none, in order to walk around and look like a human they have to posses one.

Dryads/Tree Nymphs/ DrayadsFood:Tree Nymphs have a unique diet. They are completely unable to consume dead flesh (they will immediately vomit it up). Live flesh, however, plays an essential role in their lives, especially with concern to their magic and, surprisingly, their reproduction.
Tree Nymphs have a surprisingly stretchy mouth and digestive system. They are able to consume whole live beings up to twice their size. The Tree Nymph's body doesn't actually digest their meals, that is left to their Tree (See Tree Nymph's Secret).
A Tree Nymph can go their entire lives without consuming eating a single living being (See Magic), or even eating anything at all, instead receiving nutrition directly from their tree, which creates its own food through photosynthesis.

Powers: Tree Nymphs are, quite naturally, excellent plant magic users...as long as they are well fed. Tree Nymphs store magic energy gathered from consumption of living beings.
The magical energy of a Tree Nymph is stored inside of their Tree, and is soaked into every fiber of the it. Because of this, Tree Nymph wood is highly sought after by magic-users for construction of staffs and wands.

They can carry a passenger on their backs which can help in fighting. They're very fast and strong. They're great with sword fighting, but usually even better in archery.

They're easily irritable, and are violent. Their violent nature can lead to fighting, injuries, etc.

Elves are excellent archers. They are very wise and have a large intelligence. Their senses (hearing, sight, taste, touch, smell) are heightened. The most common senses that are heightened are hearing and sight. They are also good at magic since they are related to fey.
Weaknesses:
Elves aren't very good at hand to hand combat. They're best at archery. They aren't very adaptable either, so taking them out of their home isn't the best idea in the elf's point of view.
Magical object: Different for each elf.

Food: I think they eat more natural stuff but can eat human food.
life span: Normally Immortal.
Powers: Elemental spirits possess supernatural powers and are usually invisible to humans, earthly Elementals can cause earthquakes, floods, ect.

Magical object: There is not a certain object that Elementals stick to, also it's not uncommon to hear that an Elemental has a blessed, cursed, or magical object.
Natural form: elementals have a wide variety of what they look like in there Natural form, sometimes they look more like their element then a actually being.
human appearance: what ever they want to look like, although they do resemble there natural appearance a little.

Food: I think they eat more natural stuff but can eat human food.
life span: Normally Immortal.
Powers: Elemental spirits possess supernatural powers and are usually invisible to humans, earthly Elementals can cause earthquakes, floods, ect.

ya go ahead! you can even make your character a creatures that isn't up here if you ask first and ok it with a Mod! :D We do our best to make the creatures that people love and want!

Food: Blood. Human blood is the best tasting and most powerful type.
life span: Immortal.
Powers: Lightning fast, super strength, enhanced eye sight, and Compulsion.
Weaknesses: stakes, vervain, sunlight, and werewolf bits.
Magical object: Most Vampires wear a piece of enchanted jeweler to protect them from sunlight. At the school these are handed out to each vamp student that does not own one.
Naturak form:
human apearance: they look like any other human, but sometimes when in human form they like to keep their red eyes, they choose weather or not they want to.

Other: If a human gets bit and drained to the point of death, then drinks the Vampires blood. They will be turned into a vamp.
