Dana What did you think of Vampirates? Do you like the idea of vampire pirates? Or the way Justin Somper made them? The way the Captain has the vampires feed only once a month(?) and he treats them nicely? Your thoughts on Lorcan Furey? *sighs dreamy sigh* Your thoughts on Sidorio??? What about Conor? Any one out there who liked Conor? What about Conor's buddy from Black Heart?(#4) Jacoby Blunt? Or even... Johnny Desperado??? *Yummy name... ;D )

Marija *Why you mad, why you sad* I love Vampirates! That was my first YA book and I really loved it!I haven't read second book yet just first and hate the fact that the others aren't translated in my country :( And Lorcan Furey...Well what to say about him?!He's great!I wish I had met him...And I don't really like Conor's parts. Why?Because there's no Lorcan in them :D OK, now for real - IDK it was little bit boring to read about him...

Dana LOL i felt the exact same way!!! I hated the parts with Conor! I was like 'I don't care! Let me get to Lorcan!!!

Marija *Why you mad, why you sad* I even scipped some parts but I had to turn back 'cause I felt like I was missing something XD

Dana Haha!!! i did that too!!!!! XD

Clayton Review of Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean by Justin Somper

The haunting and epic adventure story of pirates and vampires, Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean, is the first in Justin Somper’s successful series of books. It is told from the viewpoints of Grace and Connor Tempest as they struggle to survive after a traumatic set of events take form. This compelling story is very easy to read and full of intense action sequences that will leave you wanting more when you finish. The characters are very well developed and relatable, while the plot has many twists but does not leave you confused. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves action novels, as I do, and I guarantee you will love it.

Jacob Atkinson one of the things i hated about this book was it was so slow. for two the girl is retarded it took her 4 chapters to figure out she was on a vampirate ship like really come on buy a clue. also i tried reading the secound one hoping it was gonna be better but it was still a draggggggggggggggggggg so i stopped like 2 or 3 chapters in.
i really liked the idea of vampirates and the story was pretty good but it needed more excitement and humor somthing to make it better.
