debate i have confidents issues but if its proving my point when some else is annoying me well eh thats ok
btw like my new profile pic or should i change it
I don't like formal debating. I tried it last year, and it was a bit too...unnatural for my taste. What I would find better is if we could use an informal speech layout and just take turns speaking.
Debate helps my public speaking. It gives me confidence to share and discuss my ideas. So I like both...
I think public speaking. I like debating as well, but I prefer having time to collect my thoughts and phrase my arguments for maximum impact, you don't always get that in a debate. I do Model United Nations though, which is kind of a combination of both.
If it means a lot to me, I probably can. But if it's something very minor, or that I have no opinion on, I can't.
I really love a great challenge...and will take on impromptu debates...I guess I live picking sides on anything...sometimes I win and sometimes I lose...just love seeing what sides people will take and why...
I personally like speech more, but that's mainly because we don't have debate at my school (as far as i know.) Also, I worry that I may get too carried away if I were to get on a debate about a personal/well known topic.
i public speek when im extreamly mad or somthing bad it about to go down .
if u look at my profile pic im at an assembly, we take those twice annually and i take conventions once annually.
Debate. I find it more interesting to listen to opinions of others and counter-speak rather than airing my own view only.

Is your team part of the NFL?
Is your team part of the NFL?
Yeah ;) Oh and when I say Speech people are great, I am including Debate people that's just my abbreviated way of saying it.
Same. But next year I'm gonna be a varsity member...EEEK!!!! And be assigned a novice! I still feel a little like a novice! Just a little!
Debate. I get stuck when I have to speak by myself on a topic. I much prefer contra-arguing ;))
