9:30 AM. Making coffee and a bowl of cereal. Mark has a meeting at the hospital for an hour or so, so I am going to read for a little bit, then get ready for the day!

6:31pm got in a lot of reading and films today, going to have a hot bath to relax after the week I had at placement. then I'll try and finish my book
12:58 PM Back at work for the closing shift. Got a long night ahead of me. Will be checking in from time to time, and wishing I had my new book with me. The only downside to actual books is I can't bring them to work and read. Kindle books I can read on my phone, or online, which really helps the day go by faster.
1:01 CST I just got home from a trip to the bookstore. Found a lot of good deals. I should clean the bathroom, but I am going to read instead!
6:03 p.m. EST Up "early" today compared to the last few days... LOL Clearing out e-mail. Possible conference call with one of my authors tonight re: brainstorming on next piece, depending on things. Have been really stuffed up lately and doctor hasn't called in my allergy meds, so... maybe not. Sure the others don't want to listen to me sniffle!
6:51pm ET. Just got back from watching Star Trek. Pretty darned good book, and I loved Khan... what a great evil character.. he's not even human. My books from amazon aren't even here yet and it has been a whole week. Of course, me being cheap; picked snail mail x2... I am hitting some UBSs tomorrow to get rid of this irritation. :/
Hey, Alondra, glad you liked Star Trek! Have you seen the original movies? I love how Abramms does little homages to the originals here and there; a little extra something for us hardcore Trekkers, I guess... :-)6:56 p.m. EST Have decided upon reading. This book is very interesting and I want to know how it goes!
7:50pm EST: My kittens are crawling on me while I'm trying to read. Back is hurting a lot today, hope tomarrow is better.
7:36 p.m. CDT: catching up on GR after a long day of completing a financial report. Time to read now and lots of it do. Happy for rest of weekend.
9:35 p.m. and I am planning to read for at least two hours since I'm off from work tomorrow. God love him - Jeff has been cleaning more around the house because he has noticed the stress I've been under lately. It is REALLY helping a lot.

I try to clean as much as I can to help my wife out since she spends all day taking care of the kids. Hope your stress levels are coming down.
8:37PM and I am itching to get out of work. Off at 9, and then I am going to make something to eat. I'm starving.

11 minutes and counting!! And yes Chris, he is an extremely loving and considerate person.

8:53 PM. We went out with my dad and had delicious pizza at a local pizza place. Now, we are sitting at home and I am bored.

A good book can take care of that.
A good book can take care of that.
I get that way sometimes. Maybe a good movie on the tube.
9:09PM Had a great workout, finished Heart Shaped Box earlier. Now working on House. Am talking to my grandbaby on Google chat.
11:52 p.m. and I'm sleepy. Guess a logical conclusion to that would be bed. Goodnight folks. Hope everyone has a great night.
Sorry to hear you're hurting, Michelle; hope you feel better in the morning.2:03 a.m. EST Finished with my Chris Dolley mini-marathon. He's a really good writer! Definitely need to pick up some more of his books. Wanted to read Special Dead, but since it's not up anywhere but here, it would be sort of annoying 'cause i couldn't post reviews until July, so am holding off... I have a couple older LTER books I need to read, but just not in the mood for them, so I'll go with Vaporware and see how it goes! Hubby finally has a day off tomorrow; I imagine he'll sleep all day.
14.34Feel like death. Due to my medical condition ataxia, I am supposed to avoid alcohol like the plague, had some friends around last night, had 2 bottles of wine not the wisest move!!!!
9:43AM Had a good rest geez slept till 9:00? That's pretty good. It's pretty quiet right now. Kay and Derek both sleeping still, hub at work, gonna enjoy some me time.
10:56AM Well, back at work till 5 today. Short day but it always seems so much longer on Sundays. Can't wait to get home to my family and relax. I have tomorrow off. If I'm lucky I will get some reading in today. I brought my book to work.
1:30 just had lunch and debating whether or not to buy some flowers to plant or hang out in my hammock and make it a lazy day ..I think it's a hammock kind of day.
4:02 p.m. And I've had a horrible sinus headache today. Attempting to read a little, but not sure how that's gonna go. Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.
Katy wrote: "Sorry to hear you're hurting, Michelle; hope you feel better in the morning..."Thanks Katy. Sadly, no such luck :( *sigh*
4:16pm EST: Went to work today, had lunch with my mom, took towels off the clothes line and paid attention to my cats. I might finally be able to read now! LOL :)
4:10 PM. Going to sit outside in my lawn chair and read until my dad gets here for dinner. Barbecuing chicken breasts, grilling squash, and having a pasta salad. Strawberry shortcake is for dessert! :) Already thinking of my next read after I finish Joyland. Thinking of re-reading Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier. It's been on the back of my mind lately to read and I have been also thinking of reading a classic. I read it the summer I became a freshman in high school, so over ten hears ago. Oh, and it is hot and humid today!

Sorry to hear that, Sean. It sounds like ataxia is quite challenging, and having a hangover from wine on top of it... well, I hope you'll feel better soon.
8:51 p.m. EST Haven't been on-line all day; I was up earlier, as went to Outback, but as soon as I started eating I started feeling sick, so had to bring most of my lunch back home in a box. Anyway, I went back to bed and slept another 6 hours, so now I feel a bit better. Not sure what I'm going to do this coming week... I have a work-in manuscript I could do, but am not feeling really ambitious, although I do need the money for a doctor's appointment this week... *sigh* I'm still waiting on E.J. Dabel to send me the 2nd pass for the Pantheons manuscript; he was delayed by his son being ill. This would be a perfect week for him to have it back to me... so hopefully he will! Other than that, I will mostly be reading tonight while I try to decide how to plan out my week.
12:17 a.m. And I'm heading to bed. Made some progress with my books today, but now I'm tired and have to get up really early. Gonna make a couple of updates and off to bed.
11:56 PM. Laying in bed while Mark is watching a movie in our room. I'm acting like I am paying attention. Haha! Probably will fall asleep soon, so goodnight GR. Hope all of you have a great week!!
1:36 AM and I just finished Joyland:) Joyland is such a great book! it's one of my favorites from King now:)
Kathryn, used to be I never made it through an entire movie, back when I was still working; I would always fall asleep in the middle! Heh. Now I rarely have time; that's sort of backwards, isn't it?3:45 a.m. EST Hubby just left to do some laundry, and I'm trying to decide whether to start a new book or to do the clean-up editing from the last manuscript last week and THEN start a new book... Waiting to hear back about Pantheons and whether I'll do my work-in this week or not... Crazy days! Just finished one that was meh to me; well-done book, but didn't catch me.
5:10 am EST. Having a coffee before getting ready for my first day at my new job! I'm nervous as hell, since this is my first "grown-up" job - I've been either a server or bartender for most of my working life. I'm finally putting my education to use!
Congrats, Courtney!!! I'm still trying to find a job putting my Degrees to use, so I can only imagine how excited you are! Hope you have a great first day! :)
9:50 AM. Good morning GR!!!! About to jump into the shower and go eat breakfast at iHop with Mark! Happy Monday!!!! :)
10:22AM And I am a little slow today, had my honey tea, and my nose in Joyland most of the morning so far. Just now made my way to this thread. Son & Hub at work, Kay still sleeping. That girl could sleep all day I think.
Courtney good luck on your first day! You'll do fine!

3:03 PM. I was holding my 2 month old daughter and thinking about how much I love her. To all the parents, I can only imagine how much you love your children because as parents we are truly given an infinite amount of love. I love my daugter more and more each day.
Congrats and best of luck, Courtney!6:54 p.m. EST Up "early" today for a change... LOL It was bucketing down rain all day, but has cleared up now. I'll have to go sit out front and watch the fireflies this evening, since I'm reading a book on my PaperWhite.
7:40pm EST: Had to go to the orthodontist today, I get my braces off in exactly two weeks!! Yay!! I've been wearing them for over 3 years, since May 2010, so I'm glad :) But I had to go to one of my doctors as well for a blood test :( 50% chance of rain and barely a sprinkle here, but my house always gets passed over lol. Feel tired and dizzy tonight, I hope it goes away soon.
Hope you feel better, Michelle.Kathryn, I'm SO JEALOUS!! I love both Alice and Marilyn (isn't it funny they're touring together?)
7:51 p.m. EST Almost done with e-mail, almost time to go out and watch fireflies!
10:31PM Getting ready to read some more after I finish with this post. Aeverie is here till Thursday Morning, sooooo I don't know how much reading time I will have. But he is on the tablet tonight so he is content right now.
11:40 p.m. EST Went outside to watch the fireflies in the gloaming and my neighbors' kids came over and were trying to catch them. Since they range in age from about 3 up to maybe 7, they were pretty cute to watch. Also found a book in my mailbox - the publisher sent me a copy of The Asphalt Warrior and I'm so STOKED I can finally read it!! Going to start it right away... wheeee!
