Jordan one of my nieces teach Zumba courses. She really enjoys it and it keeps her busy. LOL Is teach even the right word to use?
Janie, I'm not sure what to call them, I guess instructor or teacher works best haha! it's great fun and burns off a shed load of calories quickly!8:08pm just finished skellig and will try and make a dent in my next book before going to sleep tonight.
3:28 p.m. EST I started feeling bad about 1 a.m., so ended up just going to sleep. I woke up about noon to a shock; my cat, Erasmus, had managed to pop the screen just a bit and slithered outside! O.O Fortunately he was quietly sitting on the window ledge waiting for me to bring him back in to where the food was... *whew* Anyway, then I went back to sleep. Finally climbed out of bed about 2, so ... guess I was worn out. Just clearing out my e-mail before I finish Antigoddess.
Kathryn wrote: "Yummy!!!! I love The Cheesecake Factory! :)"Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake! I had a veggie flatbread and shared fried macaroni balls with the hubby. They give you 4 and we shared 1.. they are so rich, and decadent!! I know the kids will munch the other 3... :O

Yes you are. the menu is huge; and everything is fantastic. I highly recommend the jambalaya or gumbo. spring rolls are yummy too. :D
4:57 PM. We just got back from the store. Picked up a few things up for dinner, and I think I am going to fix a tall glass of something cold to drink (probably iced water or tea) and read.
I love The Cheesecake Factory! I've only been there once and what ever I got there I remember being really good:)
6:27 pm est - just got back from visiting family, had a great time, but now it's time to unwind, kick back and relax w/ my hunny.
6:12PM Had dinner and cleaned up after. Will be working out in another hour or so. Will get into Odd Thomas a little more before that, and after.
10:21 p.m. EST Just finished my re-read of Ninja Versus Pirate Featuring Zombies and about to start the sequel Zombie Versus Fairy Featuring Albinos, which means I'll finally add another book to my A-Z challenge (leaving only Q, U, X and Y). Fireflies are finally here - they showed up late this year, usually they're here during the last week of May, but Thursday was the first night I saw any, and it was just a single, forlorn flasher. I sat outside tonight for about 20 minutes watching them. I love watching the fireflies. Also saw a deer out in the woods.
Hi Katy! I'm originally from NJ and now live in Fla. No fireflys (we used to call them lightning bugs) down here. I miss them. No cardinals or blue jays either:(
Yeah, I used to call them lightning bugs, too - I remember them from visiting my dad's people in Missouri when I was a kid, but there were none in any of the other places I've lived - Montana, Oregon, North Dakota, or Minnesota - so I'm enjoying having them here in Georgia. We have a few cardinals nesting in the trees out back; I watch them sometimes. I haven't seen a blue jay, but we have a LOT of grey jays around here. I'm surprised there are no fireflies in Florida, though... I would figure there would be. Weird...
Maybe in North Fl, but I'm in central Fl and have never seen one. Native Floridians don't even know what I'm talking about when I say fireflys or lightning bugs.I miss cardinals, but I don't miss blue jays at all. I remember them as being very aggressive, alot of dive bombing. We have mocking birds down here that do that.
10:24PM Just finished watching Nell! No I did not get back to Odd Thomas tonight, at least not yet. I will be up for a bit longer, so I am thinking of maybe a cup of Honey Tea and some more reading.
Yay for Lightening BUGS! We grew up in the country in Ohio and we always had a ton of Lightening bugs! I loved them!

11:37pmI loved lightning bugs when I was a kid! will probably start reading B is for Burglar soon or watch the episode of Hannibal that I missed last week.
2:18 a.m. and I just got home from work not long ago. Surprisingly, I am wide awake. I'm usually in bed by this time since I went to day shift. Suppose it's because I worked night shift tonight (wide awake). Plan to get as far as I can in NOS4A2 before I get really tired. About half way through the book and I really want to finish it before my next buddy read starts on the 5th. I should have quite a bit of free time today (Sunday) for reading and I'm really happy about that. It has been pretty hectic the last few days.
3:19 a.m. and I'm getting sleepy now. I knew it was coming after being up so many hours. Goodnight everyone.
3:56 a.m. EST I really should be considering taking a nap, but I'm not sleepy. If I don't, though, I'll regret it, 'cause my cousin and her fiancee are picking me up this afternoon to take me shopping for an outfit for their wedding. I haven't seen my cousin for... 10 years, I think, even living in the same town, and this will be my first chance to meet her fiancee, although we've chatted a bunch on FB. So that will be fun! Finally filled that "Z" spot on my A-Z challenge, leaving Q, U, X, and Y. I considered trying to fill one of those other slots, but none of the books I had starting with those letters appealed to me, so I decided to read the third book in a space opera; I read the first two books back in October, so I hope I remember the plots well enough to keep up! Talk to y'all later!
..just saw on Amazon ..The Dark Man: An illustrated Poem: by Stephen King. Anyone else hear of this before. I preordered it. Apparantly it comes out 7/30/13...
10:19am EST. Enjoying a beautiful sunny Sunday morning with coffee, hub and puppy. Feeling great, slept so well last night! Finished a great thriller yesterday (Poppet) and have started 2 good books already this morning, so my reading is taken care of for a couple of days. Delicious fresh cherries for breakfast. Mmmmmm. Planning a leisurely day, hope to go walking with hub later on. (Trying to get stronger and increase my endurance.) Have a great day all my GR friends!
Terri wrote: "Finished a great thriller yesterday (Poppet) ..."Hey that does sound good. Thanks for mentioning it.
9:42AM Drinking my honey tea and really enjoying this morning, so beautiful outside although I know temps will rocket in the next couple of hours. But for now it is nice. Going to get more into Odd Thomas. It is kinda slow for me. Oh well what can ya do.
Terri and Kathryn you both mentioned fresh cherries, well my sweet neighbor Julie brought me some yesterday! LOL They are delish.
Alondra Yay on ordering your books. I still need to order Joyland. But look forward to it. Maybe I will this week.

11:24 a.m. and today I'm making a commitment to myself to just do whatever I want. This is really hard for me because I am constantly pushing myself to do more. I feel like reading for a while, so that's what I intend to do for now. Currently reading NOS4A2.
Thank you Janie. Me time - I'm excited. You have a wonderful Sunday also.
Thanks Cindy I am preparing my lunch actually. Have fresh Fruits and Veggies. I am fixing up some fresh green beans as well. Then for dinner we will have grilled Tuna Salad Sandwiches and fresh green beans.
Sounds good. And you pumpkin patch looks like it's coming along well. I took a peek at the pic earlier.
Terri, sounds like a great start to the day and some good plans!Alondra - I'm so jealous :-)
Cindy - I'm with Janie. It's REALLY important that you take the time for yourself. Women of my generation were taught by our mothers and they by their mothers and they by their mothers back ad infinitum to be self-sacrificing, to be perfect, to do everything all the time, and that's a self-destructive behavior. If we don't take care of us, who will? And if we're stressed out and run ragged from trying to do everything for everyone and collapse, then what good has been done? It's important to be a bit selfish, to say, "Hey, I need this for me, I need some time to decompress", because ultimately taking care of yourself will reflect back and make you more able to take care of those others you want to. If that makes sense. It's just become worse as more women go to work outside the homes, because we are STILL expected to come back home and do the cleaning and laundry and cooking and childcare! And that is not fair. But I'm rambling... LOL The short of it is: take care of yourself.
12:31 p.m. EST *yawn* Didn't sleep well this morning, but needed to be up. My cousin and her fiancee will be by in 3 hours to take me shopping. So I need to wash my hair and sit outside to let it dry and be ready by then, but my husband was up late and took a shower before he went to work so now I'm delayed waiting for the water to heat back up... *sigh* Oh, well, it'll give me time to brush my hair out I guess, so it'll be easier to wash. I really need to cut this hair OFF, 'cause it's so hard to handle with my shoulders and left hand messed up...
Katy, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't sleep well. Hopefully, you can catch up on the sleep tonight. Shopping? That sounds like a plan to me. Books? I can't go shopping without looking for books. Have fun and I hope you enjoy the day with your cousin.
Nah, Cindy, they're taking me to the mall to find an outfit for their wedding. And the not sleeping thing is pretty typical; if I HAVE to be up at a certain time, I can never sleep. Just a weird thing, and one of the reasons I had a hard time working on someone else's schedule.
12:50 p.m. The little one was sick for the past couple of days. So glad she's feeling better!Going to be going apartment hunting soon. I'm excited to move, but overwhelmed by it at the same time. :-\
Really hoping it doesn't rain again...
2:04 pm EST > doing laundy (ugh), watching "SNAPPED" (LOVE that show) and reading during commercials.

I have tried doing that before (reading during commercials), and it didn't work too well for me. It takes me a minute or two to switch gears. I'm jealous. LOL

2:20pm....just settled from a walk with my puppy for her first swim in the lake..out to breakfast with hubby and daughter...pet store shopping and now heading outside to read with a tall glass of iced tea. Peace and quiet!
2:48 p.m. and I took my dog (Blue) for a ride to the store. She loves going for rides. Poor thing used to get sick every time she would go for a ride and actually had to be put into the car. I think she was mistreated before we got her and just needed a little encouragement and NO scolding when she did get sick at first.
4pm- just checking into gri now have a craving for cherries lol- will have to make a point to pick some up this week.

I haven't thought about cherries for a long time, but now that you mention them, I would love to get some soon.
