12:37 p.m. EST Sat in the sun for a bit and now I'm clearing out e-mail before I read. I have a 2nd pass to do on an edit job that I'll probably do tonight since I won't have time to read another book, but I'll start one since I have my pain clinic appointment on Tuesday. To make things worse it's in the afternoon, which I've avoided for years because they are so slow in the afternoon, but there was no help for it. It was scheduled for this last Thursday and by Tuesday I didn't have the money for it so I rescheduled, but then I was paid for this next week's job but it was too late to switch it back. *shrug* So I'll be doing some reading. Last time I had an afternoon appointment I was there for 3 1/2 hours, give or take, whereas with a morning appointment I'm usually out in an hour.
8:25 p.m. and I had a pretty good Mother's Day. My son came over to visit and I got rid of some furniture because I am getting a new couch and kitchen table tomorrow. Made me happy to give it to someone who had absolutely no furniture. Reading? Well, that's another story. Been so busy all weekend that I've probably read a total of maybe 30 pages. Gonna try to read for a couple of hours tonight. Told Jeff I really needed some "me" time. He is so sweet and understanding! Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.
11 p.m. EST FINALLY had some food... went to IHOP for pancakes. And Dmitry went to the store, so tomorrow I can make HAMBURGER HELPER!! wOOt! Will start my editing 2nd pass in a bit...

MEAT, FINALLY! Glad you got some food Katy.
MEAT, FINALLY! Glad you got some food Katy.
Yeah, I was a mess by the time he finally went... shaky and weak. I do not do well if I don't have regular red meat, which is so expensive... *sigh*11:24 p.m. EST Was going to edit but am not feeling so well, so I think I'll e-mail the author and tell her I'll do it later this week and just rest tonight and start my editing on Scott Rhine's 3rd Jezebel novel tomorrow, do the 2nd pass later next week. Just my stomach not used to real food, I imagine... LOL

You probably did get your stomach a little upset if you ate red meat after a long stretch without. Feel better soon Katy.

120 pages tonight. I don't remember the last time I was able to sit undisturbed and get this much reading in. Now I'm tired and will most likely go to bed. If, I don't start on NOS4A2. Have a buddy read starting tomorrow on the Joe Hill book.
Cindy wrote: "120 pages tonight. I don't remember the last time I was able to sit undisturbed and get this much reading in. Now I'm tired and will most likely go to bed. If, I don't start on NOS4A2. Have a buddy..."Cool. I like it a lot. But be prepared for a long, I mean a LONG setup.
2:27 AM I'm sick and now I have to wait for my sheets to be get out of the washer and dryer. I really hope I don't have to go to school tomorrow. I feel horrible.
Oh, no, I had some bacon and pancakes for dinner last night at IHOP; the Hamburger Helper will be tonight :-)3:44 p.m. EST Hmm, I've never really kept track of how many pages I read, but I started this book about 3 or 4 yesterday afternoon and read 220 pages over the course of the night. About ready for a nap. Listened to all the music on my music player dated 1970, had several hours worth. Have 1988 playing now... LOL
9:50 AM and I'm at school. I just finished an assignment and decided to visit goodreads. Goodmorning (:
10:19AM Had wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Had my daughter here till about 12:30AM LOL Aeverie stayed. He is still sleeping. We took a trip to the playground, had cake after that. I did not read much yesterday. Oh well. Gonna try and read today, if Aeverie will let me.
Hope you feel better soon Victor. But hey at least you get to read huh?

10:37 AM. Just finished a blog post in "Kathryn's World." Now, I'm going to focus for a few hours on Under the Dome. I'm starting to really like this read! Just wish it wasn't taking me so long. Oh well, I'm sure it will be worth it. :) Victor, I hope you feel better!
Feel better, Victor. I feel really guilty; my husband forgot to call his mom yesterday ... I should have reminded him, but it slipped my mind :-(
1:03 p.m. EST just finishing my e-mail and then it's time for editing. Actually read most of the book I started late yesterday! Just enough left to make it through today and I'll be taking a fresh one to the doctor's office tomorrow afternoon.
8:37 PM. Just finished eating dinner. It was delicious. Now, Gizmo-girl is on my lap, Mark is watching t.v., so I am going to keep on reading UtD. :)
9:15PM Hubby went to bed and so has Aeverie. So now it is really quiet and great reading time. Trying to get to at least pg 50 in Nexus, but wow it is a little confusing to me. Once I get there I will go back to The Silence of the Lambs. Got 2 of my trees planted, both Crape Myrtles. We will plant the hydrangea and the hummingbird vine in a couple of days.
12:30 a.m. and I came home from work tonight to a clean house! What a surprise. My honey usually does the dishes and makes the bed only. I really need to catch up on my reading because I have been terribly busy for a week now. This really helps. I also discovered a book that I had somehow marked as read, but I just started it tonight. Hope you feel better soon Victor.

1:35 a.m EST AUGH! Have not made much progress AT ALL on my editing. This afternoon I became so sleepy so I tried to nap but couldn't fall asleep, so I tried to edit, but couldn't focus, so tried to nap again but couldn't fall asleep.... O.o Finally managed a couple hours, but soon I'll have to go to bed since I Have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and can't stay up all day.... how frustrating....

Hot tea?
Hot tea?
Most of my teas have a lot of sugar or caffeine, so wouldn't really help. If my muscle relaxers don't put me out, I'm pretty much awake :-)4:23 a.m. EST Time to try to sleep again...
7:49am Kay in school, Aeverie watching movies. Hubby is at work, and my oldest son is still sleeping. I am here on GR enjoying some honey cinnamon chai tea. And will be reading here in just a bit.
9:55 AM. Need to make a cup of coffee so I can focus on reading UtD today. :) looks like a pretty day outside!
10:41AM Watched a movie with Aeverie, now he is on his own LOL. Gonna read some more now of The Silence of the Lambs. Would love to finish it today it is only like 160 pages left. Question is will Aeverie let me?
Kathryn it is a gorgeous day out today!

2:00 p.m. and I finished Celebrations: Rituals of Peace and Prayer today. Read a little in The Talisman and NOS4A2. Must go to work now, but the good news - I was told yesterday that I'm next in line for day shift. Yes!
2:26 p.m. EST FINALLY managed some sleep... just in time to clear out e-mail and go to the doctor. Editing is SLOW this week thanks to all this nonsense.... oh, well. Working on hauling hubby out of bed, will need to take him to work and pick him up later... just what I need, more interruptions!

Heartfelt congratulations on your beautiful new daughter, Chris! Hope you're not planning on sleeping much any time soon...

Sleep? What is this sleep thing? It isn't bad, she is a really good sleeper and with my wife and I working together we can take a nap if one of us needs it. My son has been a big help.
Slowly getting a little reading in here and there. Need to try to get some writing done. I still have a review that I need to write. Hope everyone is doing well.
2:04PM Sitting here hoping little one nods off. He does not know what he wants to do today. He got up at 6:30AM with me today and he acts tired but he is still going. He is watching Open Season 3 right now. Hope he settles in!
Cindy that would be awesome if you get on days! YAY for you.

3:53 PM. Got some reading in today, did a few chores, and I am going to workout in a few. I was going to yesterday, but my dad was changing the shocks on his truck, and I thought it might best to be around for assistance....just in case....lol.
23.15PM.Sitting at my mums after turning up here (after a 3hr train journey ;) ) to surprise her for her birthday. Going to bed soon, I'm shattered!!
8:14pm ET. Chilling out after a long weekend of gardening, minimal reading (ugh) and my mother is in town. After this visit, I may need therapy or a gun... not sure which. *munches on chocolates*
9:26 PM. Didn't get to workout like I had planned, but it was for a good cause. I will make up for it tomorrow. Cooked a scrumptious dinner, cleaned the kitchen, and I have been catching up on GR and Facebook for a while. Can't wait for delicious ice cream soon! Oh, and I have my Gizzie baby next to me. :)
12:57 a.m. EST just taking a quick break from editing to clear out e-mail. One of my husband's co-workers picked up discounted tickets for Star Trek, so about this time tomorrow we'll be sitting in a theatre ready to be blown away! wOOt!!
Extremely stressed and annoyed tonight and can't seem to pinpoint the reason. I'm behind on my reading, but it shouldn't be a stressful experience. So what if I'm a little slow right? Ahhhh!
9:54AM Kay stayed home from school sick today. At least that is what she told me. Head ache and tummy ache. Hmmm maybe it is more like staying awake too long last night? We were on Google chat with my Sister and niece it is a great way to keep in touch. We had a lot of fun. Wanna read a bit more today than I did yesterday. Good Morning GR friends!
10:06 AM. Going to focus Focus FOCUS on UtD for most of the day. Would like to finish it sometime this week. :)
1:34 p.m. and have to leave for work in 30 minutes. Once again, been running all day. Story of my life I suppose. Will see if I can get at least 20 or so pages of NOS4A2 in before I leave. Tomorrow - promise to myself. NOTHING but reading in the morning.
