Thank you! It is a great night even though I have to work Sunday. Not worrying about that tonight. Just gonna read.

Kathryn we swapped it out before it actually quit giving us hot water, it was leaking real bad. That was why we got it done.
1:27 a.m. EST Just clearing out the things I couldn't before when I was on the desktop, which isn't connected to my Facebook account, and from which I couldn't download the things in my inbox that needed downloading. Then back to reading!

I know what you mean, Chris. I used to be a nurse so I worked the same kind of schedule. A lot of the time I had to work 2nd or 3rd shift as well--really screwed up holidays and family life.
5:57am Sat. morn. Hub ended up working late last night so we just had a frozen pizza. Oh well...I got absorbed in a book yesterday (The Dinner) so today I'll have to do all the cleaning I skipped yesterday. Also plan a library trip--I have a bunch of books waiting so that will be good. Have a great day everyone on GR!

9:00 AM. Drinking some coffee and trying to decide on breakfast. Gizmo is being snoopy and it is cute. She seems happy today. Hope today is a great day!
Chuck, hope you have a huge reading day, too. I would say I am but we supposed to boat build, and do some running around. I am sure I will get some reading done, though. Have missed you in GR!
10:53AM Hope to get some reading done today. It is a long day for Randy, does not get off till 4:00 rather than 2:00. Arts and Jazz festival is this weekend too. Not sure if we will go or not. I guess we will see.
Hope everyone here has a great day!

3:09 p.m. EST Rather than finish my book this morning I took a nap and just finished it. I think I'll stick with the werewolf theme, since I have one more to read... clearing out e-mail and then will read some more.
4:09 p.m. and I'm planning on finishing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix then I promised a friend to do a bit of work for him. Went to the library today and picked up The Book Thief, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Celebrations: Rituals of Peace and Prayer. May start reading one of these before our buddy read starts the 1st. Decisions, decisions!
Well now, might have to read that one although I swore to myself that I was over series reads for a while. It appears more and more authors are shying away from the solo books in favor of the series. I guess I can see the point (possibly increased sales/revenue). Just get burned out on them sometimes. Thanks for the suggestion Kathryn!
Oh, and I wish I was at my dear friend Alondra's having margaritas with her. They are my favorite!!!!
5:41PM Had Dinner and I find myself reading 2 books again. But there is a reason for it. I found out about House of Mirrors from a different group, but don't ask me now which one, anyway it is free on Amazon(kindle) today and tomorrow and it is one of my favorite genre, Paranormal thriller! I eat them up! That is why I love Masterton. Anyway I downloaded it and well I started reading it. I find myself though comparing it to Masterton and I feel let down. I should not do that, but in my mind Masterton is the best Paranormal thriller writer out there.
So tonight I officially graduate the Insanity program! YAY! And then I after a week of recovery I will be doing it again!

Oh, a margarita sounds awesome. Dmitry drug me out to Red Lobster the other day before I was finished editing and I wanted a Lobsterita SO BADLY but couldn't cause I had to come back and finish my editing! LOL8:29 p.m. EST Just taking a short break from editing to add some info to my review for this book so I remember, and clear out e-mail.
8:32 p.m. and I'm signing off for a bit. We found the pilot episode of Lost in Space on TV. Loved that show when I was a kid.
8:15PM and I agree Margaritas sound awesome. I at least have some amazing beer from a micro brewery while I cook dinner. Had a really busy day. I'm nesting so I cleaned out our closet, and my sons closet and re did his room so he can share it with his little sister when she comes along. I'm sore, and exhausted. After dinner I'm going to crash on the couch and that might be where I stay. Hope everyone is having a great evening. Watching the Blues take on the Blackhawks and it is a great game.
9:32 p.m. EST some Bobby Pickett (aka 'Monster Mash') just came up... specifically "Monster Mash Party". Pretty funny. Just about to go read!
8:55 PM. We just got back from playing some disc golf and getting ice cream on the way home. Going to read, hopefully, and its fend for yourself for dinner tonight, which is nice, and HOPEFULLY Mark won't make me watch a movie with him. He watches horrible movies sometimes which make me want to read. LOL
LOL Kathryn. I know what you mean. I watch shows with Jeff sometimes and just sit watching the clock the whole time. But, love will make you do all kinds of things you normally wouldn't do.
9:03 PM got home from Six Flags a little while ago. I went on Raging Bull, Giant Drop, X Flight, Superman, and Dark Knight. Had a super fun day today and am so happy to be home and rest my feet LOLHope you get reading done Kathryn. What movies does Mark watch that you don't like. I understand because I usually hate it when my family watches crime movies and robbery movies. :)
Cindy, that is so true! Mark and I have known each other for four years, and married for three, and in these last few years, I have done stuff I would never have done by myself or at all. For instance, I had never even heard of disc golf until I met Mark. Now we go out and play together . There are a lot of things like that we've done and wouldn't have done otherwise. :)
Hope you had a great day at Six Flags Victor!
Victor, Mark will watch the low rated movies on Netflix. Especially the bad horror movies. AndHe wonders why I usually fall asleep. Hahahahahahaha
thanks Cindy! I had a blast!ughh! I hate bad horror movies Kathryn! I especially hate the really gross torture movies.
Victor, I have trouble with them because so many seem to be nothing but blood and gore. No plot, no story. Just guts.
10:00PM Grandbaby is here. And he is wound up. LOL Sitting with Pawpaw watching videos. LOL I am hoping he goes to sleep early. Gonna grab some honey tea soon and read some more. I just finished another book today House of Mirrors, was a disappointment. About to go post on my blog it.
I am constantly amazed at the energy kids seem to have. Morning till night - and beyond! Hope you are having lots of fun with the grandbaby Janie!
Right now he is drawing and watching a movie. Hope he tires out. I don't usually have much energy this time of night. LOL
Hey, Kathryn; my first ex-husband was a huge fan of frisbee golf. I watched them play a couple times, but have never been athletic. My 2nd ex-husband and I used to watch B-movies all the time. I love 'em!11:36 p.m. EST Feeling really crappy, started with a sore throat a couple hours ago, so I guess I'm coming down with something. Going to sleep.
Hope you feel better soon Katy!
10:52 PM. Finally decided on hot dogs for dinner after a lot of deliberation. Ha! Really want to read!!!! Maybe after I finish eating. :)
12:22 a.m. and Jeff found The Hunger Games on Netflix. I read the series and really like it. Now I get the double pleasure of watching the movie.

Victor, you are a lot braver than I am! I'm super afraid of roller coasters; heights do me in. I'm glad you had a good time.
Katy, I hope you feel better.
1:45am. Can't sleep so I'm starting a new book for a buddy read. Leg hurts, waiting for pain meds to kick in. I'm glad a have a good distraction. Hope everyone else is having a good night or is fast asleep!

It was really good Kathryn. I just damn near had to put a gag in my mouth to keep from giving stuff away. Jeff hasn't read the books.

9:07am been up for hours already, think I'm getting some kind of bug:( Going to make myself a drink and get back into bed with my book.

Hope you're not coming down with anything Jordan :( - Feel better soon!

Thanks, Cindy and Kathryn. 4:29 a.m. EST Tried to sleep but my throat actually hurts too badly to sleep. Hubby making some tea and then I'll try again. I do everything I can to avoid catching things because my immune system is compromised due to the fibromyalgia, and when I am sick, I am really, REALLY sick. At this point I'd love some whiskey or something for my throat, but I don't think we have the type of liqueur I prefer for that (Southern Comfort).Anyway, anyone on here particularly fond of werewolf stories? This book I'm reading now, Red Moon, is a fairly transparent political metaphor using werewolves, but it's beautifully written. It's scheduled for release May 7. It's also fairly long; I'm not much past the quarter point, so it might end up carrying over into my editing week, especially as I'm feeling badly... or, thinking of it, maybe I should contact the guy and tell him things'll be delayed... I'll have to think about that...
