Thank you Chris! Not much time for reading at work since I transferred to a new post, but I am happier. Have a great day Chris!

Michelle wrote: "Katy you're a Lovecraft fan right? Teefury have an awesome HPL tee on sale tomorrow :)"TeeFury has Lovecraft-based shirts a lot. My recent favorite (and last one bought), though, was an Addam's Family one... Heh. I haven't seen today's TeeFury ad, I'll go check it out. BTW, we were talking about "When She Woke," so I've added my review here if you want to go see it.
Chris, I used to love rain like that. Now I crave sunshine, but I still love rainy days to sleep and read.
1:41 p.m. EST Finally managed some sleep. now I want more! LOL
I can see you wanting sunny days Katy. Rain can be really depressing but I have always thought the sound of rain was very soothing. I also have a covered balcony so as long as the winds are strong I can sit outside with a beer and my book and relax. I will agree that rainy days are great for sleeping. I always sleep really well when it rains.Hope everyone is having a good day so far. I have 2.5 hours left of my shift so I can't wait to go home. Cooking a big spaghetti dinner tonight with my homemade sauce.
4:42 p.m. EST Just hopped online to let folks know that if you're burning incense, and you have two sticks, and those lit ends touch, it WILL burst into flame. *cough* Or so I've heard. Y'know. That is all.
4:11PM Had a full morning and afternoon. Got our grocery shopping done, picked up my books for World Book Night, was very easy YAY!! Thank goodness for that. Did some book shopping as well. Spent less than $20 there. Now my feet hurt lol. Gonna go visit my oldest daughter this evening at her place of work. And then take Kay out to Cici so I don't have to cook. Got the paint for the library, hurray! What an awesome day!
5:23 p.m. Ah, a friend just ordered me the Lovecraft vs. Poe T-shirt you were telling me about, Michelle! Yay! I was bummed I couldn't afford it. Janie, sounds like a busy day! Anyway, I'm about to log back off and return to reading. Despite an apple and some Pringles, I still feel hungry. Maybe a piece of cheese... TTYL!
5:32 PM. Just got home from Austin. It's about a 3 to 4 hour drive, and I was hoping Mark would drive so I could read, but he asked me to. Now I am beat! Giz and Pep are so happy we are home, and I am happy to see them. Especially my sweet Gizzie girl. Going to read, relax, and enjoy being home. :)
Just finished writing the fourth chapter of my novel, if you like you can read the four chapters in here, and give me your reviews!http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/3...
Dalu, well done! I'll go take a look in a bit! Kathryn, glad you're home safely.9:13 p.m EST Had hoped to sleep, but alas 'twas not to be. Had also hoped to listen to this week's BlogTalk show with Richard Long since I was awake, but that didn't happen either. Le sigh. Welp, reading it is!
10:18 PM. Going to bed early. Took some Unisom to help me sleep, have my snuggly bug Gizmo, and I am falling asleep as I type this. Goodnight GR.......zzzz
11:02PM Had such a busy day, feeling VERY tired myself and gonna call it an early night as well.
Dalu gratz on completely chapter 4. Night GR!

Goodnight Kathryn and Janie. 1:43 a.m. EST Tiger just said "merroowowow". I'm sleepy; Erasmus woke me up before I quite managed to sleep earlier, so I'm going to try again. First need to clear out e-mail, though...
12:16pm Just got home from college, I should do some coursework...but I'll probably read for a while instead :)
7:04AM Kay just left for school. Today Randy and I will be painting, probably after breakfast. I am gonna try to read today. LOL I gotta say the beginning of Black is Sooooooo confusing!
Kimberly congrats on passing!

10:17 a.m. and attempting to catch up on some reading today before work. I am excited! Won my first book ever in a GR's give-a-way!! Looking forward to receiving it in the mail.

11:09 AM. Just got out of bed. Thankful to the creators of Unisom because I slept so well last night! I must have been tired because I didn't wake up until 10:45. Today I am going to work on finishing my book, need to do some chores, and just enjoy being home. Happy Friday!!!!

I typically try things like hot tea and meditation before taking any medications, but I have taken Unisom at various times and it helped a LOT. Glad you slept well. Your body must have needed it to sleep late.

12:15 pm Trying to avoid watching the news so much tragedy going on at the moment. Spent last night up to 1 am reading 200 pages in Clockwork Prince. Hard to put down XD Checking in on my GR friends.
I usually will take a nice hot shower, drink hot tea like Sleepytime by Celestial Seasons, play some sleeping CDs I have, but I haven't slept well for several days, and yesterday I felt the effects of it all day. I felt really weird, and I also don't want to get sick because that is usually what happens to me when I don't sleep well. So, I took the Unisom, and I am glad I did. I was a little iffy about it only because I have some melatonin, which is probably better to take, but I needed the sleep. I feel so refreshed today.
Nothing wrong with that Kathryn. I have taken it a couple of times and it did help. Glad you are feeling refreshed. I like that word. Has been a while since I've felt that way, Haven't slept well in quite some time. Have no idea what the problem is.
1:16 p.m. and I REALLY don't want to go to work today. BUT, it's Friday after all. I can do this! Hope everyone has a great day and read some for me while I'm at work :)

1:20 p.m. EST It took me several hours to actually fall asleep this morning because Erasmus kept wanting out and then back in and generally being obnoxious, but he eventually settled and then I slept... oh, I think probably close to 6 hours in the end. It felt great! Today it's pouring rain and much cooler; it's been in the 80s but I think it's somewhere in the 60s right now. Lovely to watch, the colors are so vivid.
1:47PM The painting is done YAY! Now for the hard part of moving my books in there. Also ordered a table for my library, will be delivered on Monday. So excited to have it all done. Hub is putting the socket covers and switch plates back on. Will have pictures after the table gets here. Tummy is feeling a little yucky today. Not sure what I got into. blah.
Kathryn glad you were able to get some much needed sleep and are feeling rested now.

23:32A time I always loved, for its palindrome-ness :D
Reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and watching Eastenders :) x
9:42 p.m. EST Oh my Goddess, I FINALLY finished that book! Whoosh. Now to start another... but first I need to clear out my e-mail.

10:25 p.m. EST Just transferred in a couple more old reviews from Amazon. I've been doing them as I run across books I'm fairly certain I reviewed. I had at one point set out to transfer them all over, but geez, I had 900 reviews on there before I joined Goodreads... I don't think I have the time!
9:38PM Well the Library is all done. On Monday my table and chairs come. YAY! I will get pictures of the library then. Did my workout. Have one more day this week and then one final week, then I do it all over again! WOOT. Drinking a cup o coffee and catching up here on GR was a busy day!
It's 12:00 AM and I'm just thinking about how I'd like to read a book that I can't stop thinking about. I want one that will make me want to read "just one more page" every chance I get. Congrats on the library, by the way, Janie!
1:06 a.m. and I'm now officially off for the weekend. Got very little reading done this week with my new assignment at work. Think it might be an all-nighter. Sleep in tomorrow. Oh, and I got a new coffee pot. Coffee, books, my animals, and my honey! What more can a girl ask for?
1:33 a.m. EST Feeling a bit sleepy. Of course, Dmitry is blowing things up on his computer, so it might be tricky going to sleep, but maybe if he puts in headphones and I close the door... ? Erasmus is snuggled up in my blankets, though, so I Might have to sleep without any...
8:53AM Slept gloriously last night. Today I get a visit from my daughter, son in law(soon to be), and my precious Grand blessing. Have not seen him for about 2 weeks. Sitting here on GR Catching up. Have not read much in the last couple of days due to being quite busy. Will try to read a bit before family comes. May not be around too much this weekend. Will have Aeverie. have a great day GR.
10:18AM At work and just waiting till the end of the day. Had a great day off yesterday, and I am off of work tomorrow. So hard to want to do anything at work when I have shifts like this. Got a good bit of reading done yesterday, and I am hopeful to get more read today at work if I can.
Janie so glad your library is coming together. Sounds like you got a lot of work done in so little time.

Katy, we discussed Cymbalta but insurance coverage is iffy so we went with Effexor.

Like you, Chris, I love rainy days. I covet your balcony!

It is really nice Terri. We only get to really use if for a short time in spring and fall. Once it gets hot and humid I am an indoors guy. Glad to see you back on GR. Hope you are having a better day today. You were missed here.
11:39am Sat. morning. Had early dentist appointment so was up at 4:30 as usual. Mouth hurting a bit but not too bad. Planning a library trip later--desperate for something to read before starting 2 buddy reads Mon. Have a great weekend all my GR friends! Your library sounds great Janie!
10:48AM Just finished with an early lunch since I did not eat breakfast today. Patiently waiting for my family to arrive LOL, ok maybe not patiently. Just read a bit more after cleaning house a bit. So gonna read more while I await the arrival of my grandbaby.
Terri so glad to see you posting!
Chris, yes we got the painting done in 2 hours. Then I started to feel a bit sick to my tummy so I laid down for a little bit and hub had started moving stuff into the library. Then when I woke up we went to purchase my library table. So did not take too long. I only have 4 full book cases, so glad I got them moved in there before it turned into 6 or 8 book cases LOL

That's great Janie. Sounds like you are going to have a really nice library. I do hope you stomach is feeling better now. Those paint fumes can be brutal. I always get really bad headaches when I paint. I hope you have a great weekend with your family. I know you always post that you are so happy to have your Grandbaby stay with you.
