Yeah, I know .."and I can't help it" ...but at least I don't keep a guy hidden in my closet. Lol

I wish you were there with us.!
I swear downstairs has its own breath. Janie knows, I just don't go down there now.
I'm open to just about anything I have two boys in their 20's and my third boy is over 50 so I'm up for just about whateva.....except..
I was good with the long long wide steps, but then the weirdest smell, not like the old book smell I was expecting.
No windows and I could not get out of there fast enough. Hairs up all over my neck etc.. Our creepy (man) helper disappeared - and we were in a scarry ass maze like the "Mazerunner" then...our Great Lady of the books helper somehow was there to help us/me to check out some "very specific" self-nonfiction books for hubby. She then lead us to the safety of the 8 foot staircase. She's my "Lady of the Books". Not kidding, I have not gone down there since.
By the bye "Mazy" is a word. Used it today in Scrabble for 36 points. Woot woot.
I keep asking Susan if she is ready to go back downstairs. LOL She just wont go. Really there is nothing down there that interests me anyway.
7:15AM We take Nash in today to remove the drain. He is whining right now because I have him in his kennel. I can't watch him and do this stuff here. He is a puppy and tends to get rambunctious with the other members of the fur family.

9:07PM Everything went well for Nash today. They removed the drain and said everything looked good. SO that is awesome. We have a Kennel coming for him on the 1st of February, (he really needs it), .and it should be plenty big enough at 48" tall.
So I finished Black Blood and really enjoyed it. It had a mix of things in werewolves, witches, vampires, sorcerers etc. There is going to be a book 2, so we will see if I get to review that one as well.

LOL Mary, the funny thing is she dragged me down there, she thought it would be a good idea. I don't get spooked as easily as she does, but it is pretty creepy down there.

Stephanie thanks so much. He is a little trooper and such a good boy. I just wish he never had to go through all of this.

6:59PM Went to Subway and ate this evening. We have not eaten there in a very long time. Now reading and really enjoying it a lot. I found chapter 18 very profound.

9:37PM Really enjoying my current read Illuminae. Will have it finished tonight I think no later than tomorrow morning. Was sick for 2 days (stomach virus) but feeling much better now thank the Lord for that. I don't get sick to often but when I do look out. ACK!

Curious if we have the same thing!!! Feeling mediocre at best and have to get on an airplane and fly to Iowa!! 3 degrees. :-(( whaa. I'm whining and packing allllll of my cloths. Lol
Awww hope you are feeling better Susan. I would not be looking forward to 3 degrees either. Hope you have a good flight.

My baby girl turned a year old and is sleeping so much better (knock on wood....), and I've been reading a few pages before bed each night. I'm currently reading, "We Need To Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver.
Hope you are all doing well!!! Miss you Janie, Susan, Alondra, Veronica, Gatorman, Victor, Janessa!!!! (I know I'm missing a few others.)

11:26PM I think I will read just a bit more and then head to bed. I am enjoying my re-read of Daughter of Smoke and Bone. It is funny how many other things you pick up on when reading a book over. I can't believe those things we miss or just plain forget!
Doing well here Kathryn. Good to see you post.
Doing well here Kathryn. Good to see you post.

My Mom took me out for dinner to celebrate, and we just got back home. Gonna read for a bit then I'm calling it a night. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

9:50PM Took Nash to go see his brother and Mama at Amy's house. Home now and feeling really sleepy for some reason. Gonna read a bit then go to bed.
Gratz Corey!
Gratz Corey!

Getting caught up on my lists and contemplating starting Mary's recommendation of Shadow Man.

Getting ready to go to a flea market and a thrift store to buy some books! Crazy! Crazy! Crazy! Only because my bookshelves are full! I need to get rid of some of my books that I already read but I dont want to! Ihave another bookshelf but has Bob's DVD's on it lol! I have decided Im taking over that bookshelf! War! Hehehe!

8:47PM Having a hard time getting into Shadow Prey. Lucas is almost as much of a criminal as the criminals are/ I just don't like him at all. I am gonna read some more of it this evening and maybe it will get better for me. *fingers crossed*

1.45PM At work and stopping for a little lunch break so that I can catch up on the GR posts I missed over the weekend. Yesterday was a massive cleaning day and my back is not thanking me for it today. I can't wait to finish work so that I can get into World After! I'm so happy, my partner Jamie has decided to give reading a go. He picked out The Book Thief and he seems to be enjoying it because he's asked me a few times if I would 'like to get into bed later and read'!! LOL! He said he thinks he's starting to understand why I like it so much. Fingers crossed he persists with it - everyone should read!

1.45PM At work and stopping for a little..."
That's fantastic Shell. I hope he becomes a booky.

I'm watching the walking dead with my brother"
I just watched the latest episode, WOW!

1.45PM At work and stopping for a little..."

That's great to hear Corey, nice one!
5:32PM Our internet was down all day until about 3:00 PM ACK! It made me realize that I would be lost without the internet. LOL So I have been reading all day. I have been reading Predator One, needed some Joe in my life! This is an amazing series, and for those of you who like the Joe Ledger series know what I mean.
