I've Salem's Lot to start reading on my stand. It's been years since I've read it and one of my friend's keeps reminding me that it's the scariest.
It is 5:20pm and I'm waiting on the hubby to get home so our family can go out to dinner with my parents. Love it!
It is 6:30 pm and finished a book I was reading and then just ate dinner. Deciding if I want to start a new book tonight.
9:00PM Went to the playground so my grandson could ride his bike on the concrete, and he loved it. We had a soup night tonight for dinner. So that was kind of fun to do something different like that for a change. Now I am reading. I want to finish this book by tomorrow.
ok people , I need help , I have been stuck on this for a while , the teacher assigned us to read a book and write our thoughts and how we felt about it (a book of minimum 300 words) and I don't want a book about high school drama or a comedy , I want something emotional that really makes me have a connection with the characters. the last two assignments I read Between Shades Of Gray and The Book Theif, these were very emotional and amazing , but I can't find anything like them and the assignment is due soon , I've run out of time to think. can anyone who has read these books or knows what they are about recommend anything ? (keep in mind it has to be non-fiction) thank you
What about Night by Elie Wiesel? I wasn't sure if you meant 300 words or 300 pages, this book is only 115 pages. It's a stunning book. I am on the app - I might have typos in the authors name. :)
How about The Monkey's Paw it is a short book but very creepy and thought provoking. It would be easy to write about. Not 300 pages if that's what you meant?
If you need at least 300 pages Watership Down. It is a fascinating classic that will probably be required reading somewhere in your education depending on your major. Why not kill two birds with one stone. It is not a children's book even though you may think it is because of its content, it is more of a human nature story. It would be a very easy story to elaborate on for a paper.

6:24pmDoing some reading of a book a friend of mine wrote. Pretty good one at that. Listening to music as well as doing a roleplay in a goodreads group to keep my writing skills up.

7:54PM Hey guys, sorry I've been MIA the past couple of days, it's been rough, my Mom had to go to the ER (Emergency Room) Sunday afternoon, she woke up early that morning complaining of nausea, and stomach ache, I took her to the Doctor's and it turned out she had a Gastric Bleed, which for those of you who don't know what that means, it means you're bleeding in your stomach and losing blood, it's something that she's had in the past, she had to spend 2 days in the Hospital so they could fix the wound and get some fluids into her.But she's home now and feeling better. We caught it just in the nick of time.

I'm so sorry for your loss Corey. It's wonderful that you were able to reconnect with some family and awesome about the photos. Some of my most treasured items from my parents house were the photo albums.
