G'day everyone hope you are all well! Not much to report here. I feel like I'm finally catching up on my work and getting more time for reading which has been soooo nice. Now to catch up on GR... I have about a million notifications meh!
8:37am Finally out of my reading slump that I've been in for a good two weeks :( Spending today doing some coursework and catching up on my review copies!
1:37 am Doing what I do every Wednesday in the early morning: wait for the newest chapters of my favorite weekly manga to come out, to comment about them on Tumblr.
7:05AM Again I am dragging butt this morning. Thinking I may have to take a little nap. Wont be long and school will be out for the summer. I cant believe how fast this school year went.
Pierre wrote: "2000 in 2 days!!! Good golly! :-)"No, they've been accumulating since February, although I think I had caught up into early April last time I did some catching up on them...
8:18 a.m. EDT Had a few hours sleep, then woke up and while I was sleepy, I couldn't actually fall back asleep. Very annoying. I think I could sleep now, but hubby has gone to sleep and I need to wake him in less than 2 hours, so not much point! I also need to contact my palliative care nurse. Maybe I'll e-mail her; I left her a voice mail on Monday and hadn't heard back... Once hubby is off to work, I'll be going back to sleep I think.
7:16pm snuggled up with my cat and a cold drink whilst I read.it really upsets me how unkind people can be on here for no reason, it's uncalled for. I guess that's life though.
1:22PM Finally got around to the review book I was sent, Silenced, it is pretty good and I think I will finish it today. Planning on spaghetti for dinner and then a walk. Another beautiful day in Texas!
its 2:25 and I think its a beautiful day here in Rhode Island as well! :D 77 degrees and sunny as hell :D <3
Hello all! 5:41pm. I am finished with classes until September, YAY! Now I have more time for reading and BookTubing.....
7:27 PMGoing through my record collection and listing duplicate records on eBay. Yes, records. Haha.
8:29 p.m. Just focusing on catching up on some reading right now. Been really busy with other stuff the last three days.
9:40 p.m.Just got done taking a couple online driving permit tests, and I got a fairly good score, my goal is to take the written test by the end of the summer.
11:04 p.m relaxing finally. Spent the evening cleaning the whole house except for the two bedrooms. So nice when it's clean even if it never lasts long between babe, and kiddo, and the dog... Had a late dinner, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some Cheez-Its with a little cup of ice cream for dessert. Yea, not the best dinner, but it worked. Tomorrow I will be making a nice salad, it was too late to wash and cut up all the veggies and stuff tonight by the time I got done cleaning.

11:15 pm, relaxing after getting home from work at 9:15. This week I got 26 hours for working four days at Burger King, the most I have ever worked in my life :D It feels so good to get all that money for my little family! lol. I am listening to A Halloween Metal Radio Station on Pandora. :D and looking at goodreads.
11:45PM Just finished Silenced by Dani Pettrey, and it was pretty decent. There were a couple of parts that seemed a bit off, but other than that enjoyable. Ready to start Witch & Wizard - The Fire. I feel like I am starting to catch up with my reading now. I still have a review book to read though, but I will get to it soon. Good Night GR!
5:20 p.m. and I just got home about 30 minutes ago. Babysitting a nine month old is really putting the hurt on my reading progress. But, I love her and would do anything for children, animals, or older citizens. I can deal with it and catch up on the weekend. It is hot here today, but I would much rather it be hot than freezing. Hope everyone had a fantastic day. Cooking dinner now.
Jordan, I hear ya. I don't understand it either. I just do what I can to keep my little corner of Goodreads positive and kind.Amber, I hope you feel better soon!
6:06 p.m. EDT GAH! What a day! First I had to go into my oncology clinic as a work-in because I've had pain in my forearm and a hardened blood vessel under my port, so they needed to see if it was an infection or clot or what. Then they sent me over to the hospital as a work-in for an ultrasound to test for DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis - basically a blood clot). After the test was finished, we had to wait until the tech talked to my doctor, who had her send us upstairs so they could give me a shot of Lovenox. Which they couldn't give me until they ran some blood tests, so again, sitting. By the time I'd had that nasty shot in the stomach and headed home, it was 12:30. We started at the clinic at 7:30... Now I've been waiting ALL DAY to hear from the clinic about whether they called in a prescription. And now they're closed. I even called TWICE to ask about it, but no one has called back, and they ASSURED me they would call and let me know. So now I'll have to call the pharmacy and see if they called it in there. I've been trying to go through e-mail but my AVG found a bunch of malware on my computer and it took forever to fix that, and it doesn't let me do anything else while it's processing the fixes, so I spent well over an hour just sitting here sighing at my computer in exasperation... O.o On the plus side, I managed quite a bit of reading, other than when my husband would become bored and jabber at me for ages about stuff I was not interested in.
Good lord, I sound like a right curmudgeon don't I? That will never do... let's have some SILLINESS!!
MINISTRY OF SILLY WALKS

That's better! :-)
6:25 p.m. I came home and Joe Ledger was laying on my bed.... actually, he was on the counter first, but after uncovering him, i took him in the room... :D
LOL - And what did you do with him?
You're not right! Guess what? I'm not either :D
Cindy wrote: "You're not right! Guess what? I'm not either :D"bwahahhaa..... if loving Joe Ledger is wrong, i don't wanna be right! He is a cocky bastard and i love him.
Ready to read all of these books stacked next to my bed.. i am so pitiful...
7:06 p.m. I am a pitifully, weak reader... show me a book, and i add it to my TBR... ugh. :/
6:48 P.M. So glad that the work day is over. Glad to have a day off tomorrow; I better enjoy it because I won't have another one until Thursday. :/
Holly wrote: "What books do you have beside your bed Alondra?"oh heck, you want a list!!!?!
uhm, like 20+.... including some Hiaason, Patterson, Lee Child, Sue Grafton, Jim Butcher, John Lindqvist, Hugh Howey and others... its shameful. :O
Holly wrote: "Wow, that's a lot!Love Lee Child!!"
i know, i know... i can't help it. so many great books out there.
This will be my first Lee Child, so good to hear you like him. One of my reading buddies in Book addicts recommended him to me. He is a mystery-buff, and i respect his reviews :)
I think you'll love him, Alondra. He's a great author. He gave you a good recommendation! Which one of his will you be reading?
