12:25 p.m. and I'm reading. The grandson didn't come home until 2;30 a.m. this morning and had me worried to death. I guess I'm gonna have to ask the courts to put him into foster care. I love him dearly and hate to do it but lately he refuses to follow any rules. Makes me sad. He did so well for a while.

12:46 p.m. and a change of plans. My daughter called and said I could come over and wash clothes. Money has been really tight since I haven't been working and since I have about eight loads - guess where I'm going? Have to go by the doctor's office to have blood drawn also. Should take up the majority of my day. Maybe I'll get some reading done tonight.

Frankly, I find this so heart warming! Nothing silly about it at all. I hand written letter to a friend is an incredible gift as far as I am concerned."
Well, we've known one another for a long time, and she's one of the few people who can read my handwriting relatively well. I used to ask her what I had written in my own notes because even I couldn't read it... *laugh* I have several more letters I want to write, but I have the shakes really badly today and trying to write would not work well. It'll be bad after chemo for several days, but hopefully by next weekend I'll stabilize and can write the others.

3:59 p.m. EDT Managed a fair bit of sleep today, which was good, but I'm feeling sort of "off" today, and my hands are shaking. Not sure what the problem is. Just clearing out some e-mail before I return to reading and finish The Six-Gun Tarot

You can find more info at this link (click).
Right, off I go!

Waaahaa! I nearly fell off my chair laughing! :-)
Are you sure it's not a Triffid? :-)
9:11 p.m. and I'm exhausted. Washed eight loads of clothes, dried, and put up. Babysat for an hour and a half. Took shower, washed dishes, made bed, and grilled steaks for dinner. Can't do anymore. Gonna read.

21:18 EST The nice thing about reading is that when the world has exhausted you, reading will always (well, mostly always) relax you and take you away from it all. Enjoy, Cindy. :-)
You're right about that Pierre. Thanks!

Say! That's a very nice looking desk. And I can even buy it from Amazon.ca. And it's only 80% more expensive in Canada. :-) (Secretly I mean %$&*&@&*%!!!!)
9:56 p.m. and I think I will sign off GR's and just read in bed until I fall asleep. Goodnight folks!
7:58 pm
Reading the introduction to Journey To The Center Of The Earth right now. Earlier today I finished my part of the group paper for my anthropology final. Almost done with school for this semester:)

Blah, sorry about that. I really like it, it helps a lot, plus leaves my lap open for a cat while I'm using the computer!

Hmm... could be!
10:49 p.m. EDT I forgot to mention earlier that we did not go have lunch today because Dmitry has been feeling under the weather for a few days and he needed the extra sleep. I see he bought some hamburger, so I'm hoping he'll make some Hamburger Helper tonight so I can have one decent meal before chemo tomorrow. I sure hope he comes home soon, 'cause already I won't have enough sleep before the alarm goes off in the morning... Re-reading one of my favorites, Vengeance

Katy, good luck tomorrow. I will be praying for you. The lap desk does look neat, by the way. I used one in college which had a black plastic top and a purple felt-like material with foamy beans in it, like a bean bag.
8:10AM Wow I was not hear at all last night but I was a very busy girl. We swapped rooms with my son. So now the library is in his old room and he took the library. When he told me he was all for it, I was shocked really because the library was smaller. So well finally made the switch although it took all day to get it done. I am glad we finally did it, so now I can fit in more book cases which is awesome. Good Morning GR!

sounds like a great Tuesday! I hear you about struggling to stay awake haha. it's 10:20am here, and its been raining since 6am. I have coffee but I keep yawning. and i'm at work. Boo. I'm looking forward to lunch already haha

Listening to a massive storm hitting the conservatory roof. I love the sound of storms especially when I am all tucked up in doors.

I'm the same way Sam

Accompanied by sliced tomatoes with feta cheese, olive oil, Modene balsamic vinegar, and early spring thyme from my garden (it's the only thing in there currently :-).
7:17PM Got to read quite a bit so far today, 200 pages. Had LaChoy chow mein for dinner. I was lazy and did not make my own chow mein. Took a walk and now gonna read some more so I can finish Syren.

Doing nothing sounds good to me. Maybe I should try it tomorrow. :-)

9:18 p.m. and I am done cleaning for one day. I need to back off a little. Been pushing myself really hard last two days. I would rather ease back into the wonderful world that never slows down. I am going to read for a while and go to bed.

7:13AM Feeling a bit tired this morning I might have to lay back down for a bit. Will Have Syren finished today, wanted to finish last night but I got really tired. Ended up reading 370 pages yesterday. It is really good, probably my favorite so far. Nice to be finishing some of these series I have.

Having coffee, dreading work today because we are having construction in our offices. So, in addition to having to pack my office up and move furniture out, there will be dust and noise for the next two weeks or so.

That bites. Makes it hard to concentrate on your work.

9:30 a.m. and I plan to do more reading than house cleaning today. I've been working really hard on the house while Jeff is up North visiting his relatives. Going to get me a cup of coffee, clean some, and read all day. Nasty weather here for the next couple of days, so that will make for good reading.

8:55AM About to have some breakfast and some coffee and then finish up Syren. I was going to try and slip in a review book before the Empty Chair buddy read tomorrow, it should be a pretty easy read, but we will see.
Cassie enjoy San Antonio, I love it there although I don't get to visit it often. It is only about 6-7 hours away from me. I love the river walk, so beautiful and a great time to be visiting too. Enjoy!

3:27 p.m. EDT Too lazy to log in yesterday. The doctor who read my scans sucked, he left off a lot of info that we need. He did point out that my pancreas ans spleen were good, but the tumors in my liver have grown some. We switched out one medicine for another, and I'm quite happy about that because the one we switched out had the potential to cause permanent nerve damage, made my hands and feet cramp and spasm and have pins and needles, and made me hyper-sensitive to cold. So, I don't have any of that to deal with anymore and can again have popsicles and frozen yogurt! Yay! I need to call my doctor's office to see if she managed to contact dumbass and find out about the other places where I have tumors... *sigh* I spent about 12 hours sleeping, then have been up cuddling cats and going through e-mail and having some cereal and drinking Gatorade and a Guru energy drink. Very exciting day! *laugh*
