2:39 PM. Well, I finished my cleaning, and the last load is washing. It's a good thing I cleaned and stuff this morning because my dad called at about 1:30 and said he would be here in an hour. I'm not sure what we are going to do once he gets here. I still need to go to the store, though. I think I will read until he gets here.
4:05 p.m. and I'm laying down for a bit. Reading not going so good today. Oh well, will try again when I wake up.
Happy Monday GR buddies. Looks like it will be a beautiful week in TX. Got some sun today while trying to finish up The Talisman, it's so good I'm savoring it. Hope all have a great week! :)
Happy Monday everyone, had a pretty good day today, went to the gym got a good workout in and I did some more studying on my driving permit, for the first time today I got a 100 on one of the online tests, I was very proud of myself. Now I'm home helping my mom cook dinner and watching Seinfeld.
9:44 p.m. and I'm heading to bed. Got about 160 pages read today. Little over a 100 in one alone. I'm happy, but tired.
7:47 pm Cleaning up my room a bit and making some more space on my shelves for the books I got today.
9:46 PM. Mark's hospital bought a group of us Rangers tickets so we are at the game. The Rangers are not doing well, so I am not happy! I'm hoping we go home soon because my dad is at our house. He had lots of work to do, so I guess it's okay we left him with the kitties.
10:50 p.m just got the kid settled and sleeping, now I'm fooling around online for a bit, having a drink (a Mike's Hard Cherry Lime Smash Punch), and watching a bit o' PBS and thinking about doing some writing or something. Got the dishes done this evening and kitchen cleaned and living room vacuumed, so I'm feeling successful, lol. This afternoon I did a wee bit of rearranging of my 6 different boxes of TBR books, got things slightly more organized, at least til my next bookhunt has me stuffing new books in wherever I can fit em xD
11:42 PM. Going to lay in bed and read. My baby Giz missed me because she is curled up on my lap ready for bed. Goodnight, GR!
8:12 AM. Good morning, GR! Eating cereal while my dad works. He will be leaving soon to go to Kansas because he has an oil well drilling up there. I probably won't see my dad for about a month. :( I'm going to read. I have just missed reading so mud, and I just hope things calm down soon so I can get back to my reading stride I had earlier this year.
11:57AM Well I have been reading a Net galley pick for review and so far it is pretty darn good and I am so happy for that. The last 2 were just kind of ok for me, so it is nice to get one that I am enjoying this time. Had a nice call with my sister in Indy. We were going over all the books that she has bought for me, and oh my, I doubt she will fit them into the SUV. LOL I told her she needs to stop. HAHA!
12:05 PM Watching Bolt with my little girls (2 & 3 years old) the weather here in Nebraska is cold 40 degrees with rain.
3:20 p.m. and I am sitting in my recliner reading a book and drinking coffee. Overcast here today so it's a good day to read and doze.
7:18PM Just got back from the playground. Aeverie is driving me insane this evening because Pawpa has the TV tonight LOL Maybe he will fall asleep early tonight. We will see.
8:30 p.m went and got some water jugs filled and paid the rent and now I'm goofing off watching some music videos waiting one more hour for kiddo's story and bedtime. Then I dunno what I'm gonna do.
10:03 PM. We went to Lowe's and I got some beautiful celosia for a pot in the front of the house. The seeds I planted a few weeks ago aren't growing, so I decided to buy something which already has bloomed. I love the variety of color. I cooked chicken Alfredo with broccoli and carrots and some neat curly pasta. It was yummy. I got a little reading done, but I have been feeling a little off today. I hope I'm not getting sick. If I am, it's probably my allergies getting ready to flare up. Oh boy! Anyways, I hope Mark goes to bed soon because he looks exhausted. I am going to try to stay up and read. I can't believe I'm not done with this book yet. It's not that I don't like it. It's just every time I turn around, I find myself needing to do something else. That's life, I guess. :)
6:51AM Another beautiful day today, but I am feeling a bit draggy this AM. I know I was not ready for that alarm. LOL Can't believe it is already Wednesday! This week is flying for me.
8:50 AM EST Our forecast is for 6 days of rain, including today. I wish I could send some of this to California or Australia which are suffering from extreme droughts.
Hi Buddies! 9:22 am on my way to class to take an exam. The weather is crazy with the rain and cold wind......Hopefully I will get some reading done today.
It's 12:02 p.m, and I'm checking up online then thinking about getting the kid dressed and taking him for a haircut. It's chilly and rainy today, supposed to be that way until Sunday, which is no fun. I mean, I like rain, but not everyday! It poured down the rain yesterday morning too, but then the afternoon got sunny and warmed up, maybe that'll happen again.
3:33 p.m. EDT yesterday was chemo day and when I came home I just wanted to read for awhile and then sleep, so that is what I did. There were storms yesterday, and a tornado watch, but none showed up here thank goodness. Just working now to catch up on e-mail a bit, having some cereal and GatorAde and that's about it.
5:02 p.m. and I had a busy day today. Had to pick up granddaughter from daycare and babysit for a while, went to the bank, helped grandson with homework, had a therapist appointment, and paid utility bill. FINALLY, I might be able to read for a while. Tomorrow surgery :D
Good luck on the surgery, Cindy. I hope it goes better for you than last time. If they get rid of the stones, it will be so much better for you.All my best thoughts.
I meant my May TBR:Pride and Prejudice(already started)
Sense and Sensibility
Crime and Punishment
The Brothers Karamazov
The Plant or Anne of Green Gables (probably the latter).

9:03PM Finished my last read and now I think I wont pick up another till my May read along of Dracula! I got a lot of books read in April, makes me happy!

Thank you Katy!
Thank you Katy!
11:04 p.m. I am off to bed. Big day tomorrow and I can't eat anything after 8 a.m. in the morning. Alarm is set for 7 a.m. :D
10:32 PM. Laying in bed reading. I'm wondering if I can finish up this book tonight. So close and on the home stretch, maybe I can. Mark is asleep. If I don't get back on here tonight , goodnight GR.Cindy, good luck with your surgery! I will be thinking about and praying for you!
Riddhma (spelling?), I wish we could get paid to read. But I am guessing it wouldn't be enjoyable if we had to call it work. :)
Yeah true Katheryn... We crave to read only because we are not doing it all the time or so to say dont have that luxury...:))

Thanks Cindy. :-)
8:21 EST It's raining, it's pouring, and I just feel like putting my head on my desk at work and sleeping. But I might disturb my coworkers with my snoring. My wife kept pushing me last night. Apparently, my snoring was shaking the plaster off the bedroom walls. I should't have had that second helping of dessert. :-)
9:17 a.m feeling groggy this morning, waiting for kid to finish eating his breakfast so I can jump in the shower. Nothing works to wake me up as well as a shower. I dunno what we are doing today. Babe went fishing early this a.m with his cousin, but he's supposed to be back soon and then we might take the kid to a park or something if it doesn't start raining again.
9:54 AM. Gooooooood moooorning, GRRRrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! It looks like another beautiful day in Texas! I don't have much planned today, except to read, do the dishes, and read some more. :) I didn't finish The Coffin Dancer last night because when I was in bed, sleep kind of took over after about 20 pages. I will finish today because there are only a few pages left. I think I will read a really short book I have, too. It's only 160 pages or something. Anyways, have a great day, everyone!
10:20AM Well my morning awoke with a start with Kay standing over me saying she missed the bus. I forgot to set the alarm for Kay today! Great! But her older sister took her to school today! So that is how my day started off. I just did my April wrap up video and have to edit it, and then I need to do my May TBR. I just requested Cop Town by Karin Slaughter from Net Galley, this is to be released in June. This is her first stand alone novel and I am so excited! I should hear later today if I get accepted or not for the book. I love Karin Slaughter.
We have to go out for groceries today, will be nice getting out though. Hope everyone has a great day today!
