What time is it and what are you doing?

Goodness gracious, what's going on around here!? My condolences, Heather.

OMG! Oh, Terri, Heather, I'm so sorry. My deepest condolences to you both. If you need me, my inbox is always open. *hugs*

Its 11.45 am here and my sons trying to get me to go see Captain America with him. Not sure if I feel up to it though.

12:04 p.m. EST Need to start working on waking my husband soon so we can go to the medical supply store and have some lunch. Not sure what I want for lunch today... The sun is back out now, although it is supposed to cloud up later. It's gradually warming through the weekend, and then, just in time for my next chemo treatment, the temp is dropping again and there is rain forecast. Yay. Just what I need. Well, that's about it for me. Nothing exciting over here.
12:05pm Just has lunch. Made myself a burger with the works. Been reading Assassin's Code today too and have about 70 pages to go. Sorry it will end. It is so good! Actually the whole series is good and I decided I might like to make a Tshirt that says 'I love Joe' ha! And then wear it all the time!

Heather-so sorry for your loss as well-hugs to you too

7:22 p.m. OMG what a day! I couldn't sleep last night and had to get up at 5:30 a.m. so I could get the grandkids on the bus then had 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. apts for in-home visits for grandson that is living with me. I am tired, but relieved at the same time. Things went well and I even found time to go to the grocery store. Needless to say, I have not had much time to read today. I'm taking the rest of the night for me and plan to read/relax. However, I may not last past 10:00 p.m. or so.

Teri, I've tried to catch up on as many posts as I can and I hope you are feeling better. I also wish I could help make you feel better. It is always nice to see you post.
Kathryn, congrats on the new house. Now all the fun starts. I'm hyper organized and unpacking and finding a place for everything is a lot of fun for me. Good luck.
10:34 PM Been cleaning like a mad man. My wife has started a play group for the kids and tomorrow is the first meeting. We haven been cleaning like we are moving. Here's hoping it goes well for her and the kids tomorrow. Have a good night/ day everyone.

12:57 a.m. EDT Well, had my first dose of H2O2. You start off small, 3 drops in 6-8 oz. water three times a day the first day, adding one more drop each day until you reach 25 drops. For people who are just wanting to prevent problems, they then decrease by one drop a day until they're back at 3 drops and then take that as a maintenance dose. For people like me, with a severe problem, they suggest taking the higher dose for a few weeks. My husband says I really need to touch bases with a pharmacist to make sure this won't negatively impact any of my medications... Think I'll go back to watching some Dollhouse once I've finished with e-mail. Hubby has to work a double again tomorrow. Making up for lost time during my chemo weeks.
9:03PM A quiet morning for me this AM Looks like so quality reading time! I feel behind this month for some reason.

4:12 p.m. EDT Woke up around 1:30 or so, but now I'm falling asleep again, so I think I'll gob back to sleep. after all, 3 hours really isn't that much sleep...

I do, I do. :)

Are you drinking hydrogen peroxide?"
It's something my dad put me onto. There is this 35% Food Grade H2O2 that you dilute (a LOT) and drink the mixture three times a day to increase the oxygen level and that is supposed to stop tumor growth and even kill it. I know that people who need to be able to hold their breath for a long time, like escape artists who do underwater escapes, will drink H2O2 mixtures to hyperoxygenate. I figure won't hurt, might help, so I'm trying it out. Today I put three drops in 6 oz. water, and am supposed to increase by one drop per day until I reach the max of 25 drops a day, then go back down the same way. Once back to 3 drops, that is kept as a maintenance dose. However, I haven't bothered to look into it myself - I just haven't been thinking straight. So I'm off to see what I can find out. This particular statement is discouraging...
Having said all of these things, let’s be logical. If you are Stage IV, the chances of you surviving your cancer without alternative cancer treatments is VIRTUALLY ZERO. If you take both prescription drugs and alternative cancer treatments, you are in a paradoxical situation. Here are two of the several possible options:Looks like another night of surfing for me, but at least it's with a purpose. And I think I might try out the "hold 3 percent H2O2 in the mouth for 10 minutes then spit out" remedy for my tooth. The pain is pretty annoying on top of everything else.
* the combination can do severe damage and shorten your life or
* the alternative cancer treatment can cure you.
9:52 p.m. EDT Had a nap. Clearing out e-mail and then doing the research I should have done weeks ago...

Well, I'm not sure what to think about that. I think I would speak to my oncologist about it.

12:15 a.m. EDT Online research...

4:20 a.m. EDT I cannot keep my eyes open, I keep falling asleep trying to read these webpages. Guess I'll crash for now.

Went to bed early and I'm up early today. Already got my errands for the day taken care off (the ones I can't put off anyway, heh). I'm a couple of books behind on my 30/30 challenge, but I'm hoping to have a big day.

9:47AM Good Morning GR friends! Today I am attempting to read a book today and finish it. I feel like I am so far behind this month. I am only on my 4th book. Oh well. So I am gonna read Six years, it is very easy to read so I should be able to read it all today. We will see. Amy is off of work today so I wont have Aeverie. Here to everyone getting a quiet moment in there books today.

Katy, I didn't even know it had a jacuzzi tub in our bathroom until the house was inspected. Haha!!! It was very nice and relaxing. I like it much better than a hot tub, which I can't stand. Lol.

4:53 p.m. and I just got home. Had a 9:30 a.m. court time for the grandson and didn't even get called until 2:30 p.m. I did finish The Strain while waiting, so my time wasn't completely wasted. Still have custody of the grandson until at least July. He is making improvements. A good thing. It is nice outside and we plan to take the dog for a walk here shortly. Afterwards, I want to read.
5:42 p.m. Taking dog for a walk now. Be back in a little bit.

7:05pm dinner done and watching some Big Bang Theory with my hubby. Our daughter was just telling us all about her experience at Johnson & Wales University..participated in a 2 day shadow program on campus. Happy to hear she is excited and can't wait to go there in the Fall. Definitely helped her overcome some anxiety about college. Said the food there is great (culinary students no doubt) but she's going for fashion merchandising. Where did all the years go?
Have a great night all!

8:09 p.m. EDT Went for Chinese buffet. Bought myself some cute nail polish just for fun. Clearing out e-mail then probably watch some Dollhouse.
8:17 p.m. Got back from walking dog, fixed some pasta and salad. Now I'm ready to read. Beautiful day outside. Really gets my spirit up when I'm outdoors.
