That's a perfect number. I set mine at 52, but I'm almost halfway there. But I think I'm coming to the end of the days when I can read like this, at least for a while.
7:38PM Had 4 cheese chicken and pasta for dinner, then had a pretty intense work out and now I am reading. I have gotten to read a lot today yay! I don't think I will be awake real late tonight though.
8:14AM Wow it seems pretty quiet in this thread lately. As it is gonna be quiet here this morning with Randy and Derek working and Kay in school. I love this kind of peace. So I am enjoying my coffee and Now I am gonna read.

Darcy, it was your child in the hospital, right? Sorry, there were a lot of messages to go through. I hope all is well.
Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. It means a lot to me.

1:10PM Cleaned my house, have not read much yet today. Amy stopped by so that is always nice. Finishing the last load of laundry after I finish this.

Hoping to have a big reading day. Have a bunch of great stuff lined up. Getting back into genre fiction. Reading a kick ass thriller!

1:29 pm
I kinda had my afternoon class today all I really had to do was talk to my teacher and turn in a quiz. I have a drawing project that is due for that class on Wedseday. I have to work on it from home because of all the stuff I am using is too hard to lug to school with me. Because I didn't have much of an afternoon class today I am sitting in library catching up on some of my readings.

Been out all day seeing my eldest (he lives with his dad) and just got home. Read NOS4A2 on the journey and when my eldest was on time out, got another 8% read :)
Heading off shortly for a while to read another chapter or two of Magician
4:36 p.m. and I just got home. The temp service called this morning out of the blue and asked if I would be interested in a different job other than the one I've been waiting on. Duh!! Yes!! It even pays more and is Monday thru Friday with an occasional Saturday. Getting ready to read for a bit, but I'm so excited that I'm not sure if I can. I am so grateful.

My parents have to go pick my sister and nephew up from the airport so I have the house to myself tonight. I plan on watching the movie Anonymous it the one about whether or not the man we know as Shakespeare really did write all the plays credited to him. Then I plan to read in a couple of my books before going to bed.

I've read 8% of NOS4A2, 50+ pages of Magician and 25ish pages of Lirael today. I planned to read a little more of Lirael, but I am exhausted, and need to go to bed.

Cindy I posted a message earlier but it seems to have disappeared! Congratulations on your fantastic news, I'm so happy for you! :D :D
9:58 p.m. and I'm going to make an attempt at sleep. Got to get up early. YES!!
9:16PM Been doing some reading once Aeverie fell asleep, the only problem is that it's making my eyes droopy and I need to finish this at least by tomorrow!

I'm averaging about 200 pages a day. Of course, sometimes I have 500-600 page days and then only 100 pages a day for a couple days in row or whatnot, but it averages out to be about 200 pages a day-- last time I checked. Last spring I was reading a whole novel in a day, sometimes two. Can't seem to get into the kind of groove again, though. But we all read a lot. Janie reads about the same amount me most of the time and Terri, Katy, Angie and others leave me in the dust.

8:43PM Took Aeverie to the playground tonight. He should be falling asleep too. We spent most of the afternoon together so now I get to read more. Ted Dekker is offering his novella, Water Walker, for free, so I snagged it and I am reading that. I could not help myself. I am already 92% done though. Then I will jump into Collateral by Ellen Hopkins. Enjoying some coffee and beautiful evening.

Mine too! Whatcha reading?

Veronica, hope you have a safe trip to work. I hate slipping on ice! Instead of skis, I'll send you some warm sunshine we've been having here in Dallas!!! It's been over 75-80 for a few days now. :)

Cool, glad you're enjoying it. This morning I started reading the second book in the Travis Chase series by Patrick Lee--it's pretty awesome. I've already read over 100 pages of it and will probably finish it by noon. Don't know if I'll read the third one today or not. I've been feeling a bit under the weather. Also I want to read the new book he has out called

I can already tell summer's not going to be fun.

I am so sick of this cold weather
Yesterday was 40 degrees amd melted about 6 inches of snow so I'm happy about that. I just want to walk out of the house with no coat on!
Feel better, Chuck!
9:27am EST. I've got a whole day to do only exactly what I want! Bliss...Got some great books I'm working on. Dinner is made already--leftover veg soup and spinach rosemary bread. Healthy and yummy. Charlie is outside playing int the mud. (oh joy). Feeling so much better since I got my pain meds back. Happy Wednesday to all!

Hi Chuck, hope you are feeling better soon. I have never heard of this author but his new one, Runner, sounds good. The Travis Chase series got really good reviews.

11:40AM Loving my book, I think our buddy read is going well since we both like it!(Kathryn and I) The house is pretty quiet and I love that for the sake of reading. Will finish this book this evening some time I am sure. It flows very well, but then again it is Hopkins and I expect nothing less. It touches on our military and makes you realize some thing.
Chuck hope you get to feeling better!
Kathryn so glad you are enjoying this book as much as I am.

I remember those days, Veronica. Briarwood has a lot of hills lol.

Thank you, ladies.

Yup. Actual on the top of hills. On the other side of Hillside Ave
8:40PM Had spaghetti for dinner, then took Aves to the playground. Got home and worked out. Now Aeverie is asleep, I am enjoying some coffee and reading. I have not gotten to read as much as I liked to today. Oh well.

I know where you're talking about. The one near 217 was the steepest!! I used to hate walking up that hill. Please, be safe!

Bonne nuit, mon amie.

Be careful, ya'll, looks like you have some more weather headed your way next week. It's so slippery when it freezes, thaws, freezes. Take care.
