Thanks Terri - I will be sure to take a book with me to read during recovery ;)And, of course, I shall let all you lovelies on here know how it went :)
Hope every goes well for you, Lucy.0551 CST. I'm looking out at the foot of snow on the ground and realizing that I'm going to be snowbound in the hotel for at least another day, but also that I may not have enough reading material to last til I can get back home.
:-(
Here's hoping your operation goes well, Lucy, and they give you lots of lovely drugs that allow you to stare at the ceiling and make your own story.7:13 a.m. EST Almost done with e-mail.
Hope your surgery went well, Lucy!4:08pm finally finished with college until next Thursday so I can finally relax and try to get over this virus thing without having to leave my house. My book delivery came while i was at college today!:( Got to wait two days for them to re-deliver them!
10:45AM Again I am late getting here. I always find myself so busy online these days with emails, reviews, booktube, and GR. So right now I am enjoying some coffee and about to read in a few minutes. Got caught up on GR as well.
For Lucy and Katy both, I hope both surgeries go well for y'all.
As far as turkey bacon goes I LOVE IT!
As far as irking goes I think I know the definition of it. It is a great work out that irks you because it is work. hahaha

11:05 AM. Well, I stayed up until about 1:30 reading, then went to bed. I was wide awake at 7:30...haha! Of course. I laid back down because Mark told me to. I think he knows what time I went to bed. haha! Anyways, for breakfast I ate some super yummy brown sugar and walnut oatmeal and drank some coffee, while I caught up on my notifications and emails. Breakfast warmed up my bones a bit since it's still cold. I'm about to finish up Insurgent, then do a few things around the house because I want to be ready to start XO by Jeffery Deaver without any distractions BECAUSE I'M SOOOOO EXCITED TO GET BACK INTO JEFFERY DEAVER!!!! CAN'T YOU TELL?!?!?! Haha! Katy, turkey bacon isn't bad, and I'm starting to prefer it over regular bacon. I actually love regular pig bacon, but I'm really trying to focus on my eating and health this year. I was born with heart problems and had to have three open-heart surgeries to repair those problems, and since I'm getting older, I need to start taking better care of myself to prevent a heart attack, etc.
Wow Squire, that's a big bummer. Where are you? At my Father in Laws in IA, this morning it was -8 and blowing snow. It was in the Twenties here this morning and with the windchill felt like 9. Brrr. Can you get to a drug store? I have picked up some second rate paperbacks there when I was desperate. There is always the dreaded TV. Lucy, wishing you the best for your surgery.

Haha Kathryn, I'm going to use that on my kids, "Your irking me off". Hehe
Kathryn, I love how excited you get about books! I think it is great! I too eat turkey bacon because of health and getting older. And I love that it tastes good.

Love Turkey Bacon but still have to get the grease fix from good old pork. Hehe
Hope you like XO as well as the first two, I know how much you love JD. I think all three of us were up late last night. I had a response from Janie after 1:00. I woke up early too. Weird, must be the weather.
LOL Susan I was up extremely late last night. Mainly because I was waiting on Amy to get Aves. But I got some good reading done!
12:46 p.m lotsa yucky snow here. Well, not really a lot, maybe like 4 inches. Went to do laundry this morning, and got to the laundromat and there was a water line break on the street behind the place, so no water until later today. Had to turn around and come back home. Now I'm playing online until babe and his brother get done cutting and fetching firewood so we don't freeze, and then guess I'll try the laundry again.
1:06 p.m. Got a whole bunch more snow yesterday. Supposed to get more over the weekend. Ugh.....Catching up on a few things since I have today off. Hope that I can get a lot done.
9.02pm been in bed an hour already, my jaw is making me really dizzy. I have managed to finish Anne of Green gables on audio as I wasn't able to focus on reading earlier. Feeling a bit better so now can't decide on reading Les Miserables or Harry Potter!
4:11 p.m. EST Pre-op done. Tomorrow is huge jug of nasty stuff. Have to be to hospital by 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
Wow that's awesome Chris. Thanks for all the well wishes folks, I will update you all when I am up to it x

i know. he posted updates the other day, and i thought i would faint! he is up front with what he thinks of books; and not sure if he will post what he doesn't like or not.
10:47PM Had a great work out after dinner. Watched A movie with Aves, had some coffee, and now gonna read.
11:06 PM. Waiting for my YouTube review of Insurgent to finish uploading, then I'm going to get in bed. It is so cold outside, laying in bed to read seems ideal. There is a slight chance of snow tomorrow, which is weird. Oh well! I've started reading XO by Deaver, and am really looking forward to read it. I had a great workout this afternoon, and dinner was herb crusted pork, rice pilaf, and steamed broccoli. It was pretty yummy. Goodnight, y'all.

I used to absolutely love King, but I think I'm just about over him. I was really disappointed with his last couple of books. Hope the new is better.
11:34 PM Watched Kathryn's review of Insurgent (Yay first viewer) and am now going to bed. Goodnight Goodreads.
11:42 PMBeen trying to organize my eLibrary with Calibre--I love it, but it's taking me FOREVER. It took a few days just to get a measly 900 in there. BTW, if anyone in the clique ;) ;) wants to check it out hit me up and I'll send you the link when I get my router configured.
Chuck, go to my GR page, and the link is in the section for my website. :) Let me know if you can't find it.
Oh, lord no, Chuck, it's an old movie, from 1970. Here's more info at this link. It's really quite funny.7:51 a.m. EST Crashed last night about 7 and while I woke up a few times, I more or less slept until 6 this morning. I needed that. Need to be up now, though: have a huge jug o' nasty stuff to drink this afternoon. :-P Have to be at the hospital by 11:30 in the morning tomorrow.
9:12 AM. Woke up to snow here in DFW, Tx. I should have believed the weatherman. I really didn't think it was going to happen. Kitties are in bed keeping warm, like they did all night. I ate my oatmeal, drank a cup of coffee, and texted my dad. He's out on a rig where it's snowing worse than it is here. Just hope he's careful driving around, but I guess that's why he got a better truck recently. LOL. Going to snuggle up in my blankets, keep warm, and read.Katy, if we don't see another post from you today, good luck tomorrow. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. How long are you expected to be in the hospital and is your expected recovery?
Hey, Kathryn, thanks. Doctor said probably about a week.10:22 a.m. EST Don't feel like stressing my mind, think i'll watch some cartoons or something.

Cartoons are a great stress reliever. haha! Especially the old ones like Bugs Bunny, Wylie Coyote, etc.
Actually, I'm watching X-Men Evolution, which was out in the mid 90s. Yeah, I'm a geek.12:07 p.m. EST Trying hard to hold off on my meds until the last minute, which is 1 p.m. It's not easy. I've found that sitting up makes the pain worse, but I can't really recline right now, so I'm just leaning back and rubbing my sore spots.
Katy, good luck tomorrow, hope all goes well for you. Sending you as much positive energy as I can.
12:37pm EST. Just wrote 2 reviews, getting ready to jump back into reading. Charlie let me sleep till 10am again! I can't believe all the good sleep I got, it's so unusual. Cold but sunny, we got about 4 inches of snow and 2 inches of ice yesterday. Baked off some bacon (gave Charlie a piece, lucky dog) for chicken club sandwiches tonight, I love an easy dinner. Hope everyone's having a great day!

12:05PM I seem to get here later and later LOL. So the snow was coming down pretty good but has slacked off. I think it is time for Old Man Winter to take a vacay! He should not work so hard :/
Now that I have stuff done here online I am gonna read after I fix myself some lunch. I am here by myself right now so it is very quiet.

8:30 PM. What a cold day! Got a bit of reading done, had a great workout, and dinner was soup and cheese quesadillas. I am really enjoying my book, so I'm eager to get back to it. Some coffee sounds yummy...:)
10:08 PMDidn't get any reading done today. This weather is making me want to sleep. Think I'll stay up late tonight and see how much reading I can get done tonight.
Pretty sure I got a job today, but the assignment doesn't start for another week or two.
12:03 a.m. EST Sure wish I could go to sleep since I'm fasting now, but my body is still in purge mode, so no go. Watching the Avengers cartoon.
