What time is it and what are you doing?
9:47am just finished my book after waking up at 6am. about to start re reading the woman in black :)
9:05am. After torturing myself with Wally-world for last minute snack food for the SuperBowl; i am about to go to my gardening buddies house to help her with Facebook. She just joined. that is just more torture! we will probably end up talking about our gardens and order plants... which i love!! have a great day everyone.. :D
9:34 a.m. EST Well into Season 5 of Angel now. Buffy is done, I feel so empty inside... Or that's possibly just the last of solid food for the past several months...
9:15 AM. Good morning, GR! Still in bed, looking at GR notifications, and snuggling with my Gizmo baby bear.
9:34AM Good Morning friends! Enjoying some coffee this AM. Will be starting Insurgent today. We are supposed to move our old furniture to Amy's today. So not sure if that is happening or not. LOL
5.30 pm Just sitting down to a snacky tea, chicken nuggets, sausage rolls and pizza. Don't seem to be able to read lately, can't concentrate. Have been listening to Anne of Green Gables on audio though.
12:59 p.m. EST Nope, can't do it, hurt too much, can't find a comfortable position. I think the thing is bigger. Well, back to Angel...
Hi all, hope all are enjoying their Sat. We finished digging a 13' long hole for the concrete for an outside barbecue we are going to build. Putting in the rebar tomorrow. It's kind of crappy outside so a good day for reading. Looking forward to a great Superbowl game tomorrow.
2:02PM Working today but thanfully I have the next two day off of both jobs. It will be so nice to have a break for a change. Not sure how that worked out but I'm extatic. I do have to go into my new job on Monday for an interview. I am really hoping to go full time there so I can quit my old one. Can't wait to just have one job that is 9-5 with weekends and holidays off. Katy, I hope you feel beter, at least enough to get some rest.
3:56 PMI am SO psyched for the Superbowl! Also, can't wait to hear who's going into the NFL Hall of Fame this year. Charles Haley should get the nod, but he was such a deviant. And you can't be mean to the people that vote. He wasn't too nice to reporters throughout his career, but DAMN HE WAS AWESOME!
Trying to finish up WOLF HALL and probably will read BRING UP THE BODIES. Mantel totally has me captured.
Its 10pm and I'm trying to get started on my February books. That and trying to decide what to watch. Family coming round tomorrow as its my daughter in laws birthday:)
8:36PM Made Potato soup for dinner which was great with this turn in temps! Had a decent work out, and got my shower. Read more in Insurgent, and had a cup of coffee. Now I am gonna play a bit with this new video editing software hubby got for me.
9:48 p.m. EST Had a few hours of sleep, but I just cannot find a comfortable position, so I'm back up again. *sigh* I hope this is all fixed SOON 'cause it's making me crazy.
3.10 PM and reading just isn't happening for me this weekend. Have started watching S1 of Orphan Black and it is pretty good so far. Has anyone else watched it?
10:59 PM. What a day! Mark and I went to a thrift store, ran some errands, got oil and a filter for Mark's truck, cleaned up the house, my dad came over and they changed their oil in their trucks, dad and I went to the store to get stuff for Super Bowl dinner tomorrow, and then Mark and I kind of messed around the house until we went to IHOP for dinner. There is also some other news, but I will make another paragraph for that. LOL. Just uploaded another YouTube video, and now I'm going to read more of Insurgent. Update on the kitty: Mark and I decided to find her a home this weekend. The no kill shelters made me feel uncomfortable for some reason, and we put her up on Craigslist. I actually found my Gizmo on Craigslist, so I thought we might have good luck. Within minutes, we had several people wanting her. The first lady who wrote us actually has cats, (sent us pictures and everything of her house, cats, etc.), a cat room, cat trees and houses, and has been looking for a new baby. When she saw the kitty, she felt like it was meant to be. She was SO nice and the kitty already was letting her hold her and love on her. I was really skeptical about giving her to someone who doesn't have cats or has never had one, especially someone who wanted a kitty for their kid (ABSOLUTELY NOT.), so I'm relieved someone who loves cats wanted her. She's going to get her shots this week, and will keep us up to date on how she's doing. We're a little sad but happy for baby kitty. We were starting to think we were meant to keep her, but I'm happy we found her a forever home. :)
10:11am wrapping my cousins birthday present as we're going to see her later today :) I'll probably read until we go there
Stephen King has another book coming out in November, called Revival. Go here for synopsis:http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/7369...
GR does not have it listed in their database yet!!!
9:46AM SO nice we have some freezing rain going on this morning, NOT! and so cold again. Enjoying some coffee and will be reading soon. could finish this book today, it has been known to happen.

Chris, so glad you get 2 days off! Sounds like you can have some much needed family time. Enjoy the Super Bowl, and good luck with the full-time position (fingers crossed!)
Katy, hope you get some much needed pain relief. When is your surgery?
Kathryn, it's awesome you found a home for the kitty. She's so lucky you took her in!
10:53am EST. Been up since 4, made some lemon squares and some focaccia. The spinach rosemary bread I made yesterday turned out great! (It's my own recipe, so I'm pretty proud of it.) Only plans for today are reading and football. Hope everyone has a great day!

11:10AM - Sitting here watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta marathon and playing The Sims 3 before heading out to my brother's Super Bowl party.
It's about 2:30 and in a few hours my mom and I are going to visit some friends and we're gonna have a super bowl party, we're rooting for Denver.

Go DENVER!!
Go DENVER!!
Sitting here watching the pre-game show and was supposed to go to a friend's house, but we are under a Winter Storm Warning with 3-5" of snow expected. It pretty much paralyzes this city when it snows that much.
3:51PM well the freezing rain is over yay! That makes me happy. Just had a Chinese dinner. Kay ate up all the egg rolls a couple of weeks ago though. LOL So we just had some lo mein and broccoli. Gonna have some coffee soon and will more than likely finish my book this evening. Not really interested in the super bowl considering I dislike both teams. I guess having to choose it would the broncos.
5:40 PM. IT'S SUPER BOWL TIME!!!!! I love both teams, but I'm pulling a bit more for the Seahawks. Mark is from Oregon, so that's their NFL team since Oregon doesn't have a team. I just did a YouTube video, but before that, Mark took me to buy my birthday present. (A little late, but just wanted to find exactly what I wanted.) It's a beautiful cross necklace in white gold and diamonds, like my wedding ring. We are watching the game, making green chile pork stew, cornbread, and pineapple upside down cake for dessert. Hoping to get some reading done after the game. :) Happy Sunday, everyone!
I wish Denver would do SOMETHING. ANYTHING!

I hate that you have to work on a Sunday Shell, but truthfully, I would be really grateful to have a job right now. Hope you get off work soon and can enjoy the rest of your evening.

Sorry, folks! I can be somewhat bitter at times. Please forgive me. No need for my sarcastic comments.

hehe Cindy, it's actually Monday here hence why I'm dragging my feet a little. Don't get me wrong, I'm really thankful to have a job, especially one that I love so much and even more so to work with people who I consider family. I didn't mean to sound ungrateful but no matter how much you like a job I think it is always preferable to be doing something fun and social with friends... especially when Kathryn's food sounds so delicious! :D
No Shell, I was wrong with my comments. I should keep them to myself. I get stressed sometimes and let my tongue run wild without restraint. I always hated Mondays because it was the beginning of a long work week.

How much longer before you are off from work? Hopefully, not too long.
I actually started early this morning so I can leave a bit earlier this arvo. I'ts only 11 AM so I still have a way to go until I knock off at 4.00 PM :)
Yuck. Well, I hope you have a pleasant day at work.

Chuck, took my laptop into my library and got busy LOL. I could not even imagine how long that would have taken writing them all all down with paper and pen. YIKES!
GOODNIGHT GR!
