What time is it and what are you doing?
7:04pm Chilling and wondering how to get rid of all these grown-ass people in my house (the kids and the cat).a) move with no forwarding address
b) ninja-style beat-down, and leave in the desert
c) pay a "cleaner" to remove them from the house
d) all of the above
It is 6:08pm. Today my daughter is 2! She was born 6 weeks early. She was in NICU for 3 weeks. Her 3 year old sister keeps stealing her balloon.

Happy birthday to your little girl Darcy! Babies are such miracles, but prem babies even more so. Very scary when they are so tiny, she must be a real little fighter :)

I would go with B. it is the less expensive option. Good luck with the ninja beat down. LOL!!!!
12.45PM Having a lazy Saturday. I really need to get off my butt and do some chores around the house, but like a typical book junkie I'd rather be reading or chatting on GR :)
Alondra, I've heard that the "I'm just running out for some milk" where you never come back can be effective...10:18 p.m. EST considering I didn't go to bed until around Noon, I'm up rather early tonight. Continuing my Buffy/Angel binge once e-mail is done.

Happy birthday to your little girl!! My boys only have a year between them and I always had to get them both a gift on their birthdays! I hope you all have a wonderful day:-)
Katy I had no idea that the guy that played Lorne had died, that's really sad:( I loved him so much. Its 3.30am here and I should be asleep! I'm going to finish watching Salem's lot. Night all:-)
11:06 p.m very good day today. This morning we went and bought me a new (to me) car, because my old one is a piece of junk. This one is shiny and the newest model I've ever had, and is nice. I'm super happy! Then my mom took the kid for the night so I went to the laundromat and got the laundry done, and some reading accomplished. Forgot to eat earlier though, and now I'm hungry. Debating whether or not to give in to the hunger, as it's kinda late to be eating... but I'm hungry...
It is 8:30 pm on Friday night and I am exhausted. I came home from work sat around with my husband having a glass of wine- Oh, wait I hear helicopters outside our house - oh - pretty close and loud - now I hear a siren - they are definitely looking for someone! Yikes! I better put on the alarm! Other than that, all is good.
11:37pm EST. Haven't posted in a while but I've been trying to keep up with everyone. We're having problems again with my grown son who lives with us. He's in almost total isolation in his room, only comes out at night when his dad and I are in bed. This is how the decline usually manifests itself. I hope we're not headed for another psych hospitalization. At least we know he's not currently using any drugs, he has no money and no transportation and hasn't been out of the house in weeks. I just don't know what to do. I was feeling myself starting to cycle down as well, but today I finally thought WTH, I just can't let his problems destroy me. I wish I knew what to do...
Anyway, it's bitterly cold (still) and I'm snuggled in bed with the laptop and Charlie the puppy (who takes up more of the bed than I do!) Planning to read for a while. I haven't been sleeping much, so I'm glad I have a whole pile of good books. Goodnight, GR!

hehe Martha! Glad I'm not the only one! :DPS. It's now 3.56PM and I'm still sitting on my butt! I did however get up for about an hour to hang out some washing and tidy up a bit ;)

I hope I'm doing the same at that time tomorrow.... With Popcorn:)
Wicked on your new car Kit, I'd love a car but I'm lucky enough to live close to the trams and buses. Have fun with it!!I do exactly the same when I'm reading, I often stay up way to late Martha, lol. I cat always takes up half the bed and sometimes when its cold she goes under my quilt. Its a good job I'm single:D
Terri I wish you luck with your son, and I will be praying you find a way out of the problems you and your family are facing.
9:15 AM. Up and at 'em already. Waiting on Mark to finish getting ready. We are taking my car to the dealership to get a new battery for my car. The cold has killed it, and luckily we paid for an extended warranty, so it should be covered. First his truck and now my car...but at least they will both have new batteries. Lol
it's 10:14 a.m and I'm about to work on finishing Eve of Destruction and start Eve/Chaos today! Its too cold to do anything else. Happy reading:)))

mmmm, i may have to try that too!...LOL
3.54pmAbout to head offline and read to ignore the horrid storm currently tearing apart the skies in my county.
10:24AM Wow I see that there were 40 new posts here after my last. Sorry guys I just don't have the time to go through all of them today and I was gone pretty much all day yesterday with moving small stuff for Amy. So another busy day again today, but we are thinking that it will all get moved today, and then Amy and I will be cleaning the old place up in the mean time. Their former landlord is being a jerk pretty much. UGH So anyway I apologize for not reading all these posts! Things will settle down soon! have a great day my friends!
11:56 a.m and I'm mad at the stupid weather. Since my mom had the kid, I was going to use my chance to go to Toys R Us without him to get his birthday presents. But, I wake up and it's like blizzarding. Blech. Everyone says the roads are horrible, and I don't wanna wreck the new car, so guess I''m not going to the toy store. Sigh. I was really looking forward to it too, lol.
In May 2009 I started writing down every book I read, date finished and number of pages. Just broke the psychological 100K barrier.
12:24PM Working the closing shift tonight. I have tomorrow off of both jobs and Monday I'm only working 4 hours at my old job. Looking forward to a break, small as it may be. Currently listening to the Blues game and catching up here. Heat wave today in the midwest, temps are at 37 right now. Back with highs in the low 20s Tomorrow or Monday. Terri, I'm so sorry to hear that you are having problems with your son again. I wish there was something I could to to help. However, I'm really proud of you for trying to not let it affect your mood. Stay happy, and enjoy your reading.
Kathryn, I know what you mean about batteries. A new one might be in my future too. The negative numbers have killed mine, but I can usually jump it and go on for the rest of the day.

I worry about drugs, drinking - everything. My one son is at U of Arizona right now - 2nd semester - and I worry about him all the time. My other will start U of Nevada, Reno - and I have no idea how that will turn out. I guess we all try the best we can and it is in the hands of a higher power that we really have no control over. I am feeling for you, Terri.
Sean wrote: "In May 2009 I started writing down every book I read, date finished and number of pages. Just broke the psychological 100K barrier."That's about 60 pages a day.

You know, marijuana works wonders for depression.
6:25 p.m. Checking out GR and listening to the Bulls game. Thinking about getting a drink and starting Les Miserables....
Its 12.30am here, I can't believe its that time already! I've just finished a Dean Koontz book and I enjoyed it lots. I'm going to read b,4 in the series next. I'm going to watch Kentucky fried zombies. Cheesey but it might be fun:)
Sean wrote: "In May 2009 I started writing down every book I read, date finished and number of pages. Just broke the psychological 100K barrier."Well done!
1.13am
About to go to bed, having just finished another chapter in A Storm of Swords: Blood and Gold - I have to go now or I won't stop reading! x
11:36 p.m. EST I think my head is going to explode. Weird. tomorrow is prep for Monday's fun, so sending hubby to store for water and popsicles, both of which I can have as much as I want for the next 24 hours, then fasting until it's over. Buffy/Angel binge once e-mail is cleared.
6:25 AM Welp, The UFC amd the Australlian Open really cut into to my reading time tonight. Really hoping to do some good reading over the next six days.
Have a good day everyone!

Yeah but I was pretty drunk a lot of the time!
There is a challenge on another group on here that I am a part of, which is the Millionaire challenge. Its got no time limit, its simply to see how long it takes to read 1 million pages. I started on 1st Jan 2013 and and have read 23,827 pages :) Having just worked that out, its an average of about 60 pages a day, too. And I've got an 18m old boy lol.Anyway, it's 1.28pm. I am going to cook some lunch and then read, while my son has a nap :)
9:27AM Well Amy is completely moved and I am beat! We worked our butts off to get it done. Her room mate STILL has to do her stuff, like her room and bathroom. But we have all of the rest moved and cleaned. So today....I rest and read! It has been a ling 2 days!
Hope everyone for the most part is doing ok. miss you guys when I am not able to get here. Terri sorry to hear about your son. I truly hope things can even out for your son. I know it has to be tough on you! We are here if you wanna talk. (((HUGS)))

11:19 p.m. EST Really need to sleep if things would just slow down or stop for a few hours... colonoscopy prep is not fun.

Susan that sucks that you've had so many dramas with the insurance company. When I wrote off my car the insurance company had the money in my account within a few days - I didn't realise how lucky I was! I can't imagine how frustrating it has been for you guys :/
