Also, dewindled down some groups that I don't/haven't participated in so I can be more active in the ones that I like! Hub is out golfing with guys, but we are going on an afternoon/night date. Shopping in Southlake, dinner and then going to watch "Lone Survivor." I am excited!

9:52 PM. What a busy, great day! Mark and I went to buy him a new battery for his truck since the ice storm killed it. After that, I drove to see Janie and meet Susan. I had so much fun looking for books and then going to the coffee shop next door. Then, when I got back to my house, I picked up Mark and we headed over to help my friend Thom move his office since he can't lift anything because he had a procedure done before his heart surgery on Tuesday. When we left there, Mark and I stopped off at Braum's and got some ice cream because we were needing a treat after moving his office stuff. I realized as I got ice cream, the only things I had eaten today was a blueberry biscuit and blueberry muffin at the coffee shop. I made a mini-pizza and french fries (oh, I know...don't EVEN need to tell me how badly I've eaten today. I need some veggies.), and it's no wonder I was feeling rundown and without energy. After I finish eating, I'm going to read, make a cup of coffee, and just relax. Mark is watching football, and I am so happy the Seahawks beat the Saints because the Seahawks are Mark's team. Plus, I don't like the Saints, even though my dad does. haha!!! Anyways, I hope everyone has had a wonderful day!!!

11:47PM Well I have to agree with Kathryn in saying it was a busy day, but so much fun! Unlike Kathryn I had breakfast! LOL We met at the book store at 1:00pm but of course we got there early to look for a parking spot! It was so good to see Kathryn again and meet Susan! (Love these girls) The book store was packed today! Found some great deals. After that we went to get Amy and Aves and took them to Cici's for dinner, after that we went to Sam's and had our first official 'Sam's Haul' since our membership. So now drinking coffee and I am gonna read a bit.

2:28 a.m. EST Back from another ER visit. *sigh* Achieved maybe 20 minutes reprieve on my pain, but it's back now. Doctor put me on antibiotics, again, which I'm not thrilled about. On the plus side, there were books in the mailbox, so that was pretty awesome.

8:48AM Plan on getting some reading done on Flesh and Bone it is really good of course. My favorite so far though has been Dust and Decay. Need to do a book haul vlog also. Enjoying some coffee and gonna have a bagel here in a moment.

Susan we actually did really well. We stayed under $200 for our first trip, got some great meat! I love their meat prices. We also plan on laying wood floor in our dining room and San's has a great price on that too. We have a big dining room so this will pay off!

3:23pm EST. Just had a nice long talk with my younger son who lives in Cleveland. Now I'm watching football with the sound muted while hub talks to Kevin, drinking coffee and hanging out on GR. I'm well into Middlemarch and absolutely loving it! I'm savoring both the writing and the story. Having an easy dinner--turkey club sandwiches and leftover veg. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday!

4:00 PM. Hey everyone! I forgot to update this morning, but to be honest, there hasn't been much to tell. We've been just hanging around the house, watching football, and then we went to pick up something from one of the wood working stores near our house. On the way home, we stopped off at Sonic and got drinks, then came home. Mark had said something about going to the thrift stores today, but I am glad we didn't end up going. I'm in the mood to read. Plus, football is on! After the game, we are going to go to eat at Abuelo's for my birthday dinner from my dad since he is leaving in the morning for a rig and won't be home for a few weeks. At least he is getting to break his new truck in. :) I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday. :)

8:06pm was outside with the dog a whole ago and saw an incredible shooting star. It was huge with a long trail of glow behind it and I stood there amazed and watched it cross the sky and then down behind the line of woods. Spectacular! Never saw anything like it...and in my backyard!

10:07 p.m. EST Spent as much of the day as possible sleeping. Ended up going into the ER last night because I just couldn't tolerate the pain anymore. Tonight I will start on Buffy Season 5 and Angel Season 2.

10.50 PM and I'm exhausted. It was a long but lovely weekend. Hard work getting up for work this morning but I figure I'm lucky to have a job so I can't complain. I haven't got any reading done tonight besides a few pages of Don Quixote, I've been trying to finish off some cookbooks I'm making for my family with old family recipes etc - it's taking so much longer than I expected :/

10:29AM Good Morning friends! Sorry a slow start today getting here! Aeverie with me today, such a sweet boy! He is being super good! I want to try and read and get this book done but geez we have been busy! I better get moving on it I still have 3 left for the month! HEH no worries really! So we have to run into town again today. Hub wants to refinance our car through our credit union. We had to wait till we had it a year. Guess what, it has been a year! Then we may be going to pick out our living room furniture yay! Good morning GR Buddies. My son decided to stay home from school, so just like in the old days we watched a movie in Mom's room. I really miss those days before teenage independence. Going to finally take down the X-mas tree. I took everything else down last weekend but the guys wanted the tree for one more week. I think I'm going to miss it too. Maybe I will get some lights to put up for Valentine's day. Hehe.

The dishwasher is going, the house is swept, my dad had to stop by on his way out to get his microscope and to see his grand kitties since he won't be home for a few weeks :( , and I'm catching up on GR before getting back to cleaning. Today, I'm going to focus on getting the house cleaned up since it has been neglected for a few days. After that, I'm going to read, hopefully receive my BookOutlet order, and exercise. I'd like to do a YouTube video today, but we will see. Anyways, I hope everyone has a great Monday! :)

Susan, I was sad to take my Christmas tree down. I love the way my home feels when it's up: nice and cozy. But, I am looking forward to spring and all of the beautiful new colors. Some Valentine's lights would be neat!

6:16PM had a much longer day out than was planned. My son decided to treat us to dinner, so that was very nice of him. We did order our furniture and it will be here on Saturday! Yay! About to do my work out and get a shower and then read read read. I wanna finish my book by tomorrow so I can stay on track! Yay!

9:20PM Sitting here reading, enjoyed some coffee whilst I read. Hoping to finish this by tomorrow if I can stay home long enough to do that. This is a very good book though. Maberry is so fluid! I love it. Also new elements added to this one.

9:45 PM. Just finished cleaning up dinner. I made sweet and sour chicken and vegetable egg rolls. It was yummy. I have managed to get almost all of the laundry washed and dried, but not folded. All of the dishes and grocery shopping are done, as well. I am so happy I have my milk for cereal in the morning. I'm disappointed I didn't get my order of books today nor the other two books I ordered on December 30, but that's okay. Hopefully, I will receive them tomorrow. Mark is watching Dexter, so I am going to finally read.

Janie, some coffee sounds good. :) I am so happy for you because you are getting your new furniture on Saturday! That is very exciting!

Chris, haha! I love a clean house! It makes me feel better about sitting on my butt to read. haha! Sorry you have been sick! Mark said a lot of people are sick at the hospital, and apparently there is some nasty strain of flu going around.

Katy, here in Texas I think some people have died from it. I know a few for sure, but could be more from when I last heard last week. Swine flu was going around big time when I was in grad school. My roommate got it, and fortunately, somehow, I didn't. She got really sick.
