Hello everyone not much is happening with me today except for two meetings and some reading. I was dizzy yesterday and a little bit this morning but it seems to be going away now. Not sure what that was all about. Sorry to hear about your headache Kathryn do you get migraine? I do they are the worst!

Having dinner with my folks
Having dinner with my folks
6:22PM had chicken and Pasta for dinner, took a walk with Kayla. Now having cup of coffee and will work out soon. Then I have a couple of more gifts to wrap. Gonna try and read now, I would like to read 150 more pages.
7:05 PM. Mark came home earlier than I thought he would, and even brought home dinner. We just have to heat it up. I've got about 30 pages left in Roadside Crosses, which I will finish up after I finish this post. I got my order of The Knife of Never Letting Go in this evening. Makes me excited. I did my workout, got a shower, and since Mark is watching t.v., I'm going to read until dinner. Tonight is Project Runway night (woohoo, Terri!!), so I'm not sure if I will do my videos tonight or tomorrow. I've got two, maybe three to do. Before I start Identical by Ellen Hopkins, I'm going to read The New World, which his the prequel to The Knife of Never Letting Go. It's only 25 pages. Hope everyone has been having a great day! Janie, hehehe! You already know how I'm doing on RC since we've been texting most of the day. :)
I hear ya, Alondra. My brain is always a crazy place to live...9:47 p.m. EST The medication is FINALLY in, hubby off to pick it up. I'm crazing tuna, guess I need some iron. Also having hubby pick up sourdough so I can have a tuna sandwich, see how that goes. Sourdough doesn't make me feel as ucky as regular bread.
12:15 AM. Whew. I need to go to bed. Why am I hungry, though? Ugh. Anyways, I finished Roadside Crosses, wrote my review, and have been messing around on GR for a bit. My throat started to hurt earlier, and I drank a yummy cup of hot and comforting cinnamon tea. It helped for a while. My new read is Identical by Ellen Hopkins, which I am excited about trying out, and I will be starting tonight as I lay in bed. I am really glad tomorrow is Friday, so Mark can get a few days off. I think I'm going to make him sleep in a bit this weekend. He has been really tired lately, and I know he's not getting enough sleep. Hopefully, with not much to do this weekend, he can rest without needing to go do anything.
Anyways, goodnight, GR!
8:38 am EST. Getting ready to head to the hospital in a bit. Looks like the grandbaby will be here today...
7:45AM Enjoying some coffee and also will be having breakfast as soon as I make it. I have hash browns in the over right now. Dust and Decay has been very good, hope to finish it up today! As long as I have no distractions. Would love to finish it before we go, and yes we must go out again. LOL Always works that way. Would love to convince hubby that I need to go to the book store!
Yay for Michelle! Just one more day and we will be heading to Indiana! I am so excited!

8:17 AM. Ugh...It was a rough night for me. Last night, my throat started to hurt, and it hurt all through the night. I hate allergies. :/ This happens every year, and you'd think I would get used to it, but I think sore throats are worse than headaches. Anyways! I'm happy it is Friday, Mark and I get to spend extra time together, and then next week is Christmas! Today, I'm starting Identical by Ellen Hopkins, and since I'm not feeling too well, I am going to relax, read, and drink lots of soothing fluids. I really hope its just allergies, and not blossoming into something else right before Christmas. I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday! Coffee is ready and some cereal sounds yummy. :)
Katy--YAAAAAAY!!
Kathryn, sure hope you feel better. Having Mark around should help!
Janie, have a safe and wonderful trip.
2:11pm EST. Feeling alternately depressed and happy. I'm really discouraged about my troubled son again. He was going to help me with the holiday baking, but instead he hasn't left his room for 3 days. I've only seen him twice and he's essentially uncommunicative. I'm happy because my younger son will be here in a couple hours, and all my baking and holiday prep is done. Looking forward to some good family time, hopefully with my older son included, but if not, we're still going to enjoy one another. I'm also happy because my hub is on a library run and is picking up 22 books I have reserved. (Is that too many?) Sending out happy holiday thoughts to all my GR friends!

Thank you, Terri! Sending BIG Christmas (((((((HUGS)))))) to you!!! I'm sorry to hear about your older son retreating to his room again. But, I'm sure having your other son around, baking, and 22!!!! books, will do you some good. 22 books is impressive!!! I don't think it's too many. :) Also, I'm sure cutie puppy Charlie will give you some loves. Gizmo has been loving on me today since she knows I don't feel too well. They always know when to come to our rescue. :) Hope your Christmas weekend is as wonderful as you are. :)
1:44PM Have read for most of the morning and I have really enjoyed the quiet time. I made huge progress in Dust and Decay and will more than likely finish it tonight. We have to go out today and I am hoping maybe we will go to the UBS. We will see.
Thanks Terri :) I am sorry to hear your son has regressed a little, but I am glad to see your spirits are up. How awesome that your baking and holiday prep is done! Even better you are getting 22 books! And I have to say nah not too much, you can never have too many!

22.54 - just added some new books to my Kobo ready for my xmas holiday :) I leave on Sunday to go to Mum's for a week, and I always seem to read even more there than I do at home, haha.
Congrats on the new grandson, Chris!10:04 p.m. EST Yeah, I slept all day again. Oops. Then I finished my book. Now I have to go through all this e-mail. Wheeee.
9:07PM We went out and yes, I got to go to the UBS tonight! YAY! I will post new books in the proper thread. So now I am home, had some coffee, talked to my sister on the phone for a couple of hours and now gonna try and finish this book up tonight.
Lucy enjoy your vacation and time spent with family!
Chris gratz on the new grandson!

12 a.m. EST And done with e-mail. I guess... I need to check if I owe any more reviews and if not, STAR TREK!
12:20 AM. Just finished talking to my mother in law for a while. I had to call and let her know we got her package of our Christmas gifts she sent us. I probably shouldn't have been talking on the phone to begin with since I'm "sick" or whatever this is. Anyways, just got in bed, catching up on GR notifications, and am going to read for a bit. I took some TheraFlu, and am hoping this helps because I have a few things I need to do tomorrow. A warm snuggly bugly in a rugly Gizmo bear should come to bed and sleep with me to help me feel better. :) Goodnight my GR friends!!Chris, congratulations on the new grand-baby!
1:20AM I finished Dust and Decay this evening, wrote my review and now I think I am ready for bed. Tomorrow night we leave for Indiana. Unfortunately we have to take a different route due to bad weather in Oklahoma. The route we have to take is about 3 hours longer :::sigh::: But to keep us safe I will take the extra time. Night night GR!
3:49 a.m. EST Watched a couple Star Trek episodes. Erasmus is cuddled up and purring on my shoulder. Little stinker.Have a safe trip, Janie! Hope you feel better tomorrow, Kathryn.
8:47AM I am so excited! leaving tonight for Indiana! I have not seen my sisters for a few years. It has been 7 years since all of us have been together. So this is gonna a very memorable time for all of us. So I have some last minute things to do, such as pack, that might be helpful. Doing laundry 2 days early lol. Have to vacuum and stuff like that. So guys I am not sure how often I will be here. I will try and check in from time to time. If I don't get the chance later, Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all of our BB members!
11:13 AM. Good morning, BB! I am still feeling a bit icky, but nothing much I can do about it except drink fluids. We woke up to it raining, and I'm hoping it doesn't freeze. My dad called me this morning and said it is snowing and really cold on his rig, so he is going to try to come home today so he can be home for Christmas. The weather up there is getting bad, so hopefully he makes it out and home safely. I really need to get out today and get two more Christmas gifts for family, so I may just have to suck it up and go so I can be home. A cup of hot tea and reading sounds good to get my day going....:) Thanks, Katy! I have bad allergies, and we've had some really bipolar weather here. When I talked to my dad this morning, he asked if I had the flu. haha!
3:24pm. Had a great breakfast with the girls this morning. i love giggling with grown-ups. Then me and Bev hit IKEA... what the hell did I do that for?? Now, I want to rip out the fluffin' kitchen. I love that stupid store. *starts ripping out cabinets*
Safe trip, Janie!3:53 p.m. EST I... think someone is shooting out there. Hmm. Oh, well. Not feeling terribly ambitious, probably fool around on YouTube or something.
4:05PM hey guys! I got most of what I needed to get done, done! Hub is napping right now since he was up ay 5:15AM. I told him I wanted him to sleep since we will be traveling overnight. Kay fell asleep too. LOL Son at work and was trying to find someone to take his night shift. On Saturday, Derek works a 12 hour shift. I am gathering he did not get any volunteers. LOL It is so quiet right now. I think I will start on Patient Zero.
22.12 GMTI just reached my 50 books for the 2013 GR challenge, and feeling rather proud of myself!
I love these boards :D
Hi GR buddies, had 40 or so kids here last night for my sons 22 BD. Big fun was had by all and got to bed sometime after 4 am. Yikes. Getting some me time this afternoon for a little R&R. Have fun Janie, nothing like sisters.
Kathryn, I sure hope you start to feel better

Nice work!
7:36 p.m. EST Tried to take a nap but I'm chewing my elbows and can't sleep, so I guess... Star Trek, or maybe a Danny Kaye movie...
6:40 PM. Mark and I went to do a few things, and just got back not too long ago. No trip to the bookstore like I had wanted. Oh well...I wasn't feeling too up to it after all. Maybe tomorrow. Pizza is almost done in the oven, and I'm going to read and take it easy. Starting to feel bad again, so maybe going out for a few hours wasn't such a good idea. Oh well. Janie, hope you make it there safely! I know you are excited! I guess I could just text you this......hahaha!
Chris, congrats on your new grandson! What a special holiday season for you!
Kathryn, feel better soon! ****HUGS****
Janie, have a safe and wonderful trip!
8:21pm EST. Happy Winter Solstice all my Northern Hemisphere friends! We had our Christmas celebration tonight and it was really wonderful. Started with a great meal and some great wine. We had roasted pork tenderloin (marinated in soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, ginger and lime), sweet potato chips, broccoli, salad, and fresh rolls. Then we had our gift exchange to the tune of The Vince Geraldi Trio playing the music from the Charlie Brown Christmas Special (a tradition for us since the kids were little [they're now in their 30s]). Now we're quietly sitting around drinking Irish coffee, having some goodies, and enjoying each others company. My older son has been celebrating with us since about 4:00, which is a real record for him lately. Just wanted to take a minute to check GR and see how everyone's doing. Hope you all have as happy a holiday as I have!
