8:45 p.m. EST It's been a cold, rainy day in Georgia. It was upper 30s, lower 40s, and tonight back down to 38. At least it isn't supposed to freeze! Ice is a real problem around here and I'd like to avoid any ice storms this early in the year.

Best thing ever for left over fry's. On Amazon they have truffle oil and salt that taste great. Obviously a minute amount of truffle but great. Salt is great on popcorn. My sons are addicted. I have to protect my pantry. They are like a wrecking crew.

9:56 PM. I'm sitting here relaxing. All of my cleaning is DONE, and I even went to the grocery store and finished getting everything for Thanksgiving dinner. I am beat. While I was finishing cleaning the bathrooms, I ended up having a bad allergy attack. I still haven't fully recovered, but I have a feeling either allergies are attacking or maybe...I'm getting a little sick. Definitely going to take some benedryl before I go to sleep. Tomorrow, I'm going to relax, relax, and relax, read, read, and read some more until about 5 or 6 PM, when I'm going to start baking my three pies and my two pans of cornbread. I might actually go to bed early. I hope everyone has had a great day and a great evening. :)

11:18PM Well I was not gonna work out this evening. I had a short work out after lunch, but come 10:00PM I was sitting here thinking, since I am doing so well with the weight loss and such, don't mess up now. So I did a work out lol and got a shower and now I am gonna read a little more. Ave's and hub are asleep and it is pretty quiet right now.

8:43 a.m. EST Feeling so tired all the time the last day or so. Sleeping a lot, but never more than an hour or two at a time. Weather says 30 percent chance of snow today, but right now it's 36 and raining. We plan to go out to eat tomorrow with one of Dmitry's coworkers and his wife. It's been our tradition for 12 years to go out for Thanksgiving; this will be the first year anyone else joins us. Probably go to the Chinese buffet. I probably won't actually be able to eat much, but *shrug*

8:47 AM. Good morning, GR! The sun is shining and pretty this morning. I'm relaxing in bed with this cute little baby I named Gizmo Tidbit. Today I plan to take it easy, drink coffee, and read. I'll do some cooking later this evening. I was really getting into Pride and Prejudice last night, but I got super sleepy. It's turning out to be a decent read. Looking forward to coffee and breakfast this morning and reading more developments in P&P. :) Have a great day, everyone!

11:34AM Good Morning GR Friends! Aeverie has kept me pretty busy today so I have not really gotten here. Right now he is hanging with Kayla and Jamie. We will have to go into town as soon as Randy gets home. We need to pick up a few things. I think we will be making a stop at the book store on the way in. hehe. My books Angelfall and World After did in fact come yesterday. Another Post Apocalyptic read. I love those. So I will have a busy day today and hopefully some time to read.

5:56 p.m. EST Being lazy today, spent most of the day sleeping. Finally decided I'd better stop doing that and actually do something. We'll see how long that attitude lasts... Amazon Vine day, and since it's Thanksgiving we could request 3 books if we wanted. In past years there has been a third week in which to request books, allowing up to 6 books for the month, but with the new "everything has to be reviewed in 30 days" policy, I guess they decided to back off on that. Since there was only one book last week I was interested in, I figured I could handle three for this week.

8:09pm EST. Hanging out waiting for my son to arrive from Cleveland. Hub is watching Field of Dreams--one of his very favorite movies. I've been busy getting everything ready for Thanksgiving, and I'm in pretty good shape. I love this holiday!! Just want to say to all my GR friends, have a happy, safe, and blessed Thanksgiving. You'll all be in my thoughts, as GR is one of the things I'm the most thankful for. As many of you know, I've been struggling a lot this year, and the support and concern shown me by the wonderful people on GR has made all the difference in the world. So thank you all !!

9:00PM So went out and did the last minute shopping we needed. Jamie's parents were not planning anything for Thanksgiving, so we invited them over. Got to the book store today and that is always fun. Kayla kept Aeverie entertained so it made it easy to look. Found a lot of good books. Here in a few minutes I will be making my dessert, hub already made the pumpkin pies so that is done. I may do a work out too. We will see.

D says he dreamed we were going to travel to NY with a friend of mine and they would pay, but only if we made them crack cocaine... ?? We were baking it in the oven, apparently... O.o *snicker*

1:14 AM. Best. Thanksgiving dinner. And day. EVAR. I'm not kidding...the food was so good, and my turkey was beyond perfect. This Thanksgiving deserves a blog post. However, I'm passing out as I type this, I'm so beat. My dad left about 10:30 and my brother's family left about 11:30. As I laid down, I realize how exhausted I am. It was more than worth all of the effort. I'm so happy with today and the memories, I could cry. This was how I love Thanksgiving. I am truly, beyond blessed. Goodnight, y'all....this Texas girl needs her rest....

1:16AM We had a great day! Invited friends for dinner and that was awesome too. Amy and Cort just left like an hour ago. Amy and I were going over crafts that we are doing for Christmas.

Just changed the group icon and banner for Christmas. I love to be able to change out our images and such, it's like decorating at home only online! hehe LOL Huge books sale going on at the UBS tomorrow, not sure if we will be going again, but I am sure I can convince hub that we need to go. LOL So today I must read read read and finish Ashes to Ashes! I am excited for all the new reads I have lined up for December! Pretty quiet here this AM, Hub went to work for Triple time, Derek is working and Kay is still asleep. I need to do a vlog for today and then read. Gonna kick back and relax today!

9:17PM Had a fairly busy day today. Hub worked for triple time, so that will be very nice next week when he gets his pay check. When he got home we needed to go get dog food, so we ended up getting together with Amy and Aeverie and spent some time together. We went to the UBS, Hobby Lobby, planning our crafts for next week. We had some dinner at Cici's, Aeverie's favorite place to eat. Then we had to go to Walmart for the pup dogs food and came home. When we got home I had my work out, shower and here I am. I want to read this evening, I was planning on finishing Ashes to Ashes tonight, but we went out today so well, probably will be tomorrow when I finish it.

9:55 PM. Sitting here thinking about what to do tomorrow and thinking of enjoying some wine. I am hoping we go to the bookstore because lots of them are having big sales. Today has been a pretty lazy day for me. My feet are really achy still, and even my heels hurt, so I've been trying to take it easy on my feet. Mark came home from work early, we watched a little tv, then took a long nap. For dinner we had leftovers from our feast. We've been watching some of our recorded shows, and I'm getting ready to read. I'm finally feeling like I can read a little. Before, ugh...I was too drained to even think about reading...haha! Anyways, hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and day today. :)

TNG started when I was a senior in high school, but I didn't really get into Star Trek until two years later, and that was the original series. Now I love 'em all... :-)
