Oh, so sorry, Michelle.

@ 7:46 PM

Just experienced my first earthquake. They say it's the third one of the day. It's the first time I felt and heard it, though.

8:00PM Aves is asleep, and I can't seem to get off of GR. I love you guys so much and I love when the group is busy like this. I think we have got one of the best groups on GR! Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for making the effort of this group worthwhile! So now I shall read a bit and plan some more challenges for next year! Also heard from my Bro in law from Indy, he is in Texas right now, set up a meet up with him on Thursday. So excited to see him. Just wish the rest of the family could have come too.

Chuck earthquakes seem to be happening more and more. I however have not felt them or heard them yet. Hub read about the earthquakes on msn today.

Nellie, Happy Birthday!!

Michelle, so sorry to hear about your Grandpa. There's something so special about grandparents! Sympathy and hugs for your loss.

Janie and Kathryn, thanks for your good wishes and for noticing when I'm gone!

9:25pm EST. Hub just went to bed (he gets up at 4:15) and I'm having more fun on GR. Taking a little break from reading. I'm in one of those moods where I have books everywhere but I just can't settle on one thing to read. Charlie the puppy is curled up next to me on the couch. He likes to be nestled up, he gives (and gets) a lot of affection. (Charlie is my Gizmo!)

Shell (shellcampbell) | 757 comments Thanks Chuck and Terri for your kind thoughts :)

Janie, thank you for everything YOU bring to the group - we are lucky to have you and I agree, I think we definitely have one of the best groups on GR. I have a couple of other groups I'm involved in, but it doesn't feel the same - this group feels like home :)

Chuck, how big was the quake? I experienced my first one a year or two ago - woke me up in the middle of the night - it felt like a truck came tearing up the drive way and crashed into the house lol! Made me feel for people who experience major earthquakes.

Terri, I get in those moods every now and then. I'm sure you'll find something to settle into soon. Enjoy your cuddles with Charlie, he sounds gorgeous :)

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 9:10 PM. Finally got a workout after procrastinating. We had pork chops, baked mac and cheese, and corn for dinner. Easy dinner. Gizmo is laying in a box, which is too cute. Pepper is sitting on the couch watching t.v. The Boy (Mark) is watching t.v., too. In a bit, I'm going to make some coffee and read. Haven't read much in the last few days, which makes me sad, but the extra time with my husband is nice.

Terri, you're very welcome. You are a vital part of our group, and when you're not here, I do miss your posts. :)

Chuck, there was a quake?? We didn't feel anything over here. I know we're about an hour and a half or so apart. Weird.

Janie, like Michelle said, you bring a lot to the group, as well! We do have one the best groups here, and every one of the members are a vital part of this group's success. I noticed BBs has over 400 MEMBERS!! Can you believe that?!

Shell (shellcampbell) | 757 comments Thanks everyone, just trying to organise flights. I had everything organised to get there on Saturday afternoon but my family wants to have the funeral on Friday and I don't know that I'm going to be able to change to another flight to get me there in time. Wish they could just wait until Monday but apparently my uncle who lives up north in NZ (the rest are down south) needs to get back to feed his bees! Jeepers!

Yeah, well, I definitely felt it--I thought a car crashed just outside of the exterior wall of this place. I mean, it took me a second to figure it, though. I knew what it was when I had a couple of seconds to think. Then, when I went outside, the neighbors were gathered pointing at my place, lol. There has been a lot of earthquakes recently, but this is the first one I've experienced.

That sounds right to me. I think I heard it was a 3.8. Not much as far as quakes go, but it was very weird. Definitely don't want any part of that.

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 9:30 p.m. EST Edited all day, and then had hubby take me to the ER because I hurt so bad. They gave me some Toradol, which has helped with my back. I think I might have had a cyst pop this morning or something, 'cause dayum... O.O I'm really tired but not at all sleepy, which is frustrating. Oh, when they took out the IV and put on a bandage, I just kept bleeding. Heavily. Soaked right through the gauze. Had to have hubby run for a nurse, who put on about a zillion pounds of gauze. I think the bleeding has stopped now...
